I know, right. But it might have been nice useful/helpful alright for those who wanted to know what pieces were included, since the inventory isn't up yet on BrickLink. And there's a closer look at the figures. There's not much else of interest to the set, either.. Anyways... I'll try to find something useful, then. ~ General Magma

Someone got the new V-Wing, and posted a video about it. Watch it here. I couldn't embed it, since it said it was disabled by request. The new figure is a re-colored V-Wing pilot from Palpatine's shuttle, mostly. ~ General Magma

For people from The Netherlands: In most stores, the new sets will be available on December the 16th. If I'll be able to manage to get my hands on one of the sets (most likely the Battle of Naboo), I might have it be my first review. Here is the link to the store's site - I directy linked it to the "expected sets" section. ~ General Magma

Why do you even bother asking? It has been confirmed so many times.. Yes, that is Captain Rex. ~ General Magma

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
General Magma replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow. Just, wow. This is awesome! Great minifigures and accessoires. Could this mean that the summer 2011 pics are nearing, soon? ~ General Magma -
I was talking about the summer sets, the completely finalized box pics for summer sets normally appear around February. The ones you're referring to are the wave 1 pics, I assume? ~ General Magma

Prelim. Normal (or slightly less preliminary) images appear around February, mostly. I remember that we got summer 2010 set pics during ToyFair back in February this year. ~ General Magma

I start liking the V-Wing less, now... It's very thin, doesn't look very nice and isn't accurate. I might buy it for the new Astromech droid and the figure, though. But I'll just make my own V-Wing, if I feel the need to. Also, I assume we'll be getting pictures for the summer sets in about 5-15 days. Last year we got them on December the 14th. (Or 13th?) ~ General Magma

Very nice! Fantastic work there, this should have been the kind of snowspeeder TLC releases. Immediately reminds me of the Battle of Hoth. Great work! ~ General Magma

General Magma's Star Wars Figures
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Hello all! Today, I wanted to show you guys some of my SWTFU customs. All of them are no figures that have been made recently, so some of them are older. The newest one is Starkiller from the SWTFU2 game cover. Group shot of all the figures: SWTFU: Custom Batch #1 (Group shot) by General Magma, on Flickr Starkiller - training gear Starkiller Training Gear by General Magma, on Flickr Note the ripped sleeve: Starkiller Training Gear by General Magma, on Flickr Starkiller - heavy training gear Credit for the rubber band idea goes to flickr member Jonathan - I used a thin rubber band, though, since it looked too large otherwise. This one is pretty old. Starkiller Heavy Training Gear by General Magma, on Flickr Starkiller - The Force Unleashed II This Starkiller costume is from SWTFU2's game cover. As far as I know, it didn't appear in-game. Or did it? I made this one around July or August. SWTFU II - Starkiller by General Magma, on Flickr SWTFU II - Starkiller (back) by General Magma, on Flickr Darth Vader - battle damaged This is the official minifigure, but I made a custom damaged cape for him, since that was what the official figure lacked. Darth Vader Battle Damaged by General Magma, on Flickr Darth Vader Battle Damaged Cape by General Magma, on Flickr Rahm Kota And last but not least, the main Jedi from the original game! Credit to Flickr member Vid for the great decals. Rahm Kota by General Magma, on Flickr Extras: Some extra figures, from "Star Wars: Battlefront", which I also wanted to show here. Rebel Vanguard This one doesn't have any custom elements added, except for the visor, which I painted white. I could've done it without a visor, as that would be white too, but the gap looked ugly. The Rebel Vanguard is complete with his rocket launcher. Rebel Vanguard by General Magma, on Flickr Rebel Marksman Here's the last one for today, folks! Thanks! And yes, it was unintentional, but it's still a pretty nice touch. ~ General Magma

Today, I allowed myself to open my LEGO boxes 2 days early for the holiday in my country. Here's the loot, all is built and I'm very satisfied: Today's Loot - 4-12-2010 by General Magma, on Flickr 8038 Battle of Endor (Amazing set! Well, I mostly buy and collect Star Wars. It's also the theme I built most of my MOCs of. I used to be into castle/medieval and RR a few years ago, but my interest in those two has already faded, a short time after I got into them. Ever since I got into Star Wars, I haven't stopped buying LSW sets, and building MOCs based on Star Wars. It has been my favorite theme from then on. So, you could say I'm mostly settled into Star Wars, yes. Every now and then, I gain interest into another theme aswell (but still going for Star Wars, mostly), but that quickly fades sooner or later. Except for Star Wars.. I'm just a huge Star Wars fan, and I prefer it over any other theme. ~ General Magma

Obviously... It will cost around $150, so it's not hard to figure that out at all. No other info's available yet, such as the minifigs that will be included, though. ~ General Magma

I have to disagree with all of your points, there. Jar Jar wasn't that horrible, but it was another stupid clown character. And why is the minifig too detailed? I don't know why so many of you guys are complaining about the details. The old ones lacked detail, now they finally add something great, and you're still complaining? Detailed figures are so much better than those detail-lacking things from a decade ago. No eyes? No accuracy? Bleh. The molds were great, but they needed printing to finish it all. People have different views on things, but my opinion remains: old, non-printed figures can't beat the detailed, printed figures we get nowadays. Anyways, I'm looking forward to pictures of the Ewok Attack and the Millennium Falcon sets. I hope there will be one ewok we have already had, and two ewoks with entirely new printings, and newly-colored hoods. I don't think we would be getting 3 all-new ewoks, so 2 should do...I hope. ~ General Magma

Darn. ESB was the best Star Wars movie (also the best movie in general), so thanks goes to him for his great work. May the Force be with you, always... ~ General Magma

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
General Magma replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Has anybody else noticed that one of the "ghostly-cloaked" assassins, in one of the trailers who try to kill Dooku, is Ventress? The others are most likely the nightsisters. ~ General Magma -
Hey, You are very good at this! Awesome stuff. I was wondering, could you do one of my sigfigs for me? My regular sigfig consists of a brown aviator helmet with (dark bluish) grey goggles, white arms with yellow hands, black hips, Indiana Jones legs, rebel trooper torso, and a somewhat angry looking head from some of the viking sets. You could also do a version with a happy looking head, from the castle sets. (Happy/scared head - happy side in this case) If you're willing to make my Sith sigfig too, I'd appreciate that. Black cape, Ogel's shoulder pads turned backwards (so it would cover a minifig's mouth), black head (plain), black torso, black legs, black arms, black hands and a black visor, placed down, so combined with the shoulder pads it covers the entire face. You could add a double red lightsaber too. Thanks!

Very nice! I haven't thought of doing something like that myself before. A slowly moving, large, brown machine - just as it should be. Good job. ~ General Magma

Yes, it would need larger horns however. I wouldn't really care for a new Savage Opress figure, but that's what happens if you make a nearly perfect version of him yourself... @Mr Man: Well, actually, there were two variations of Darth Maul. One of them, the oldest one, had red pupils. The newest one from 2007 has black pupils. It's not a big deal, really, but there's still a difference. ~ General Magma

...Mole? I haven't seen any moles in Star Wars. Well, if you mean Darth Maul, the Zabrak horns were missing for the first figures. It would be nice to see a new Darth Maul head with small horns, for accuracy - it would look good, aswell. And if they would do that, the hood probably wouldn't fit. But they could add some small holes inside the hood, so it still fits onto the head. And yes, it could be Jordan who doesn't want to give out pictures, but we haven't heard anything from commander_neyo recently either. He keeps quiet, for some reason.. ~ General Magma
