Nice shots WS. (I can call you that, right?) You could also upload them to Flickr, and then place the pictures from there onto here - they'd be resized automatically if you select the right size. (Medium recommended) ~ General Magma

Coming along very nicely, that landing pad looks impressive! That's the UCS Imperial Shuttle, isn't it? Also, I have the feeling that AT-AT should be a bit more scaled up: it's an official model, but I think it would be much better if it was able to reach those "bridges" (or whatever those closed-in corridors would be called), since it looks a little small in comparison with the landing platform.. But the rest looks great, keep it up - looking forward to see the finished model.. Can't wait to get to build my own Endor diorama soon. (although I am going to start with the bunker) ~ General Magma

I found some kind of preview for the next episode. Atleast, I believe that it is for the next one. "Witches of the Mist". Spoiler alert: ~ General Magma -

I actually thought this was a good episode. My favorite part would have to be the "Battle" of Devaron. You're probably just being way too picky at many times, Sion - don't look at everything from the bad side. The Savage arc has only just started. One episode is only 22 minutes long, so don't criticize the whole season because of this episode already. The rest could get better, who knows. We do know that Ventress can't have revenge: but what will happen to Savage, and then, what will happen to Ventress? What will happen to both? Y'know, people's expectations are way too high, mostly. It was atleast better than most episodes. ~ General Magma -
Haha, nice ones everyone. The snowspeeder thing always looked like an issue to me.. I don't own one though, so luckily my figuers didn't have to encounter snowspeeder accidents. @Flare: At that second one, I already had something like that in thought for months. Oh well, I'll still do that whenever I get the time to. The horse thing isn't as funny to me now as I had the same thing in thought. ~ General Magma

Yet another preview for episode 13 "Monster": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rw2dEHvIzOw It's airing today (not for me, though - I'll have to watch it online sometime afterwards. ), but this is just an extra preview I found. ~ General Magma -

Yep. I believe it was featured in this comic as a flashback, by "Dark Horse Comics": Star Wars: Republic 60: "Hate and Fear" I haven't read it, but looking at the images they have made available to view for the public on Wookieepedia, you can see the death of Asajj's master - Ky Narec, the same person from "Nightsisters" - and it also took place on the same battle/fight, on Rattatak. Also, I just found this. Well, apparently they do exist, although the bald guy (I called him a "nightbrother" since we didn't know his real title/allegiance ) with the purple markings from the trailer isn't one of them. ~ General Magma -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

The space battle was the best part of that episode IMO. However, the background story given to Ventress isn't new: it already appeared, featuring the same Jedi Master, in a comic book several years ago. They probably just want to add things to the Clone Wars - things that already appeared earlier, in the EU. I agree about the last sentences about Dooku, but if they killed off Ventress now, then what would happen to the Savage ARC? It's all about Ventress wanting revenge on Dooku for betraying her - if they just kill her off before that, there's no point in revenge anymore. Also, they can't just kill off Dooku. He still has to be able to make an appearance in Episode III. Atleast it wasn't a teddybear (probably ewok in this case) pyjama. ~ General Magma -
A fantastic MOC as usual, AC! Great work on this one. Like Brickdoctor said, though, I think it should be a bit hunched over aswell. But other than that, amazing work, looking forward to the next MOCs of yours.. ~ General Magma

Sounds interesting. Looking forward to pics.. I have always wanted a UCS Sandcrawler myself, too, since I only have the pretty small set - I might have to give it a go after my currently planned projects. ~ General Magma

I just watched Nightsisters, and it was pretty good. I would have liked to see Savage Opress aswell, but that's probably saved for the next episode. Just a shame I can't find any previews for ep13. Anyone? ~ General Magma -
Ah, OK, sorry. Quoting Keeli, that actually seems possible - but an entire new mold for a rarely known creature like the "boogie monster", AKA the Kwazel Maw would be very unlikely. And else it'd have to be a gigantic thing there, since it was 88 meters long in the episode (according to WP). But it does seem possible without it. Although it would be bad if it was very different from the first (and only) one, but a new sandcrawler could do, aswell. I may have to only get it for the figures, or if the design is good - a definite buy if it looks alot like the older one, which I own, so they'd fit in well together. The previous one had only a few true figures, and I can't see TLC releasing more of those here, and it may be smaller - just like a few other set re-designs. But then again, it could be better too, and the upper front part could be stretched out a bit more - although the first version was very nice already. UCS would be great, but I dunno if I can see that happening, ever. But anyways, here's an idea for a system-scaled set: Sandcrawler and Luke's Homestead Minifigs: 2 Jawas, C-3PO, R2-D2, R5-D4, Owen Lars (redesign), Luke Skywalker (ep4), treadwell droid, Gonk droid and an ASP droid. (Total: 10, with 5 true minifigs and 5 brickbuilt droids, incl. the astromech droids) Comes with: A new Jawa sandcrawler, with some design improvements, a bit of a larger design (just a bit), with play features inside, a removable Jawa workshop and a portion of Luke's homestead. Piece count: About 1800 Price: $200+- ~ General magma

They said Toydaria would be happy, but they weren't on Toydaria. That was Rugosa; check Wookieepedia, hopefully it gets clear by then. Atop of that, with the new Watto mold they could make those Toydarians, so it's pretty likely that we could be getting a set like that. It's still unknown whether they will use it for other purposes or not. ~ General Magma

Endor photography continues even more... (With the final Ewok biography shot for now, until we get the new ones.) Enjoy! Stormtrooper on Endor Stormtrooper on Endor by General Magma, on Flickr Endor at Night #2 Endor at Night #2 by General Magma, on Flickr Paploo Paploo by General Magma, on Flickr "Paploo was an Ewok from the forest moon of Endor. He was the son of Warok and Bozzie, the nephew of Chief Chirpa, and a close friend of Wicket W. Warrick. He had cinnamon-colored fur and wore a smooth stone in the center of his hood. He was a boisterous, sometimes foolhardy, Ewok, especially in his youth." ~ General Magma

And who is there to decide that? I didn't think my ideas to be so unlikely (except some prices and other things, perhaps, not sure), and if they are, what's so irrealistic about them? (I agree about some others, though..) Perhaps you could tell what factors could be improved on those - ideas were executed by TLC before, so if there are some realistic and good ideas, they might come across and consider those. Doesn't just happen 1-2-3 like that, though.. What about this then, perhaps? (I also have the feeling they will make one, since the mini models are all made in system set form, or will eventually end up as one) Trade Federation AAT Minifigs: 2 battle droids, 1 Naboo royal guard. Comes with: Trade Federation AAT, similair to the CIS version, but in tan with adjustments and improvements. Piece count: About 400 Price: $60 ~ General Magma

Clone Conflict: Round 1: Game 5
General Magma replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
1) DSD from 011 to 012. 2) MTT from L9 to L10. 3) Bloodfin from L6 to M6. 4) Spider Droid from H5 to H6. 5) Droid transport from P8 to P9. -
Some more ideas up! Kamino Cloning Facility Minifigs: Lama Su, Obi-Wan Kenobi (ep2) and 3 clonetroopers. Comes with: A small, white room with a window and some details, perhaps the 2 chairs. The room is placed on top of some larger pieces, with some parts of the cloning facility behind the window. Perhaps some kind of a walkway above the place with some windows aswell, with several cloning tubes, components of the cloning centers etc., plus a place for the clonetroopers. Piece count: About 300. Price: $35 Geonosis Arena Minifigs: Anakin Skywalker (ep2), Obi-Wan Kenobi (ep2), Padme (ep2), Jango Fett, Count Dooku, 1 geonosian worker and 3 battle droids. (Total: 9, with 6 true minifigs) Comes with: 3 poles, a loose part of the balcony, the Nexu and a Reek, (The Acklay seems a bit too large to be made into one set, along with 3 other new molds), the transport to bring Anakin and Padme to the poles for their execution (would be described as a simple transport, since I think "...send Anakin and Padme to the poles for their death sentence, using the transport. Begin your execution there!..." would be inappropiate for the younger children..) and a small hallway or something extra on the end. Piece count: About 450. Price: $65 Mos Eisley Cantina Redesign with new components Minifigs: Han Solo (ep4), Luke Skywalker (ep4), Obi-Wan Kenobi (ep4), sandtrooper (orange pauldron), Figrin D'an (Bith band), Bith musician, Greedo and Wuher. (Total: 8) Comes with: Cantina entrance, cantina walls with tables and chairs, the bar and a new Dewback. (Presumably the old mold with some additions and changes, in a new printed version.) Piece count: About 600 Price: $75 Endor Rebel Trooper Battlepack Perhaps a solution for 2012 Minifigs: 2 rebel commandos, 1 generic ewok and Paploo. (Maybe without the feathers, to make it a generic ewok) Comes with: Ewok glider and a log trap. Piece count: About 60 Price: $12 Imperial Trooper Battlepack Perhaps a solution for 2012 Minifigs: 1 scout trooper, 2 stormtroopers and an AT-ST pilot. Comes with: New and improved speederbike, and a small missile firing walker. Piece count: About 70 Price: $12 ~ General Magma

Oh God... It could be used as Razor, but he is not Razor. It's just any generic ARF Trooper for the battlepack, he wasn't named so stop making conclusions about names. TLC could have based it off of him, but it doesn't mean he has to be it. The rebel pilot in the rebel BP, however, was Sev Zenesca, since he was named in the battlepack. ~ General Magma

Hey all. Great stuff in here, with some hilarious things. So, today I decided to do one of these aswell... For those who don't get it, tell me and I'll explain, or just read the last part down here, some kind of description.. Anyways, this is the only issue I have with the tauntaun: the rest is great, but minifigs could hardly use it as a mount anymore when they decide to get off it for once and are in the middle of the outskirts of Hoth. There are no ladders there... ~ General Magma

Clone Scout Walker (7250) - Overview and Photography
General Magma replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great review, and thanks for the good laugh from those comics. Perhaps I should have gotten this when they were available in stores back then, just as a clone scout walker: I have made a much better AT-RT myself, but this could serve as something else. ~ General Magma -
And what is this, then? There is a white pupil variant. They changed it with the release of Luke's landspeeder, a bit after the arrival of pupiled SW figures - hence the use of Luke's new head. ~ General Magma
-
3 of them are Boba Fett's: The last Jango Slave I was from 9 years ago and is very rare now, costing alot (it wasn't very good either) - we could use a new Jango, aswell. ~ General Magma
-
No old/rare figures for mine, really, except for the Jawas. The ones from the sandcrawler (I have that set) seem perfect to me already, although they could renew them a bit, as long as they don't look too different from the older ones. The tusken raiders could definitely do with a redesign: when was the last time we've seen them? 2002. So it's time for them to make a comeback - just like Jar Jar Binks, the Gungan Warriors (both 2011), the Ewoks (2009), the Geonosians, Watto, Sebulba, etc. (2011), and now I'm just referring to the different species. With the exception of Darth Maul and some others, since he wasn't seen for the last time too long ago - 2007. So it's about time that we're getting new Tuskens, it would be a great opportunity for a Bantha too, like I mentioned in my idea. ~ General Magma
-
Any thoughts on my Slave I and Echo Base ideas on page 102, anyone? Some new ideas, nonetheless: Battle of Naboo (or perhaps "Gungan Attack" or "Gungan Patrol", since we already had a Battle of Naboo this year, although Gungan Patrol was used too. But it'd not be the first set to reuse names.) Minifigs: 2 Gungan Warriors, Captain Tarpals, 4 B1 Battle Droids and 1 new droideka. (Total: 8) Comes with: 2 new Kaadu (feathers on the back for both, one pair is optional as for the battle wagon), Gungan Battle Wagon with blue zamor sphere pieces from Bionicle (the same idea I used), a Fambaa with a shield generator mounted on its back. (Would probably become a large low-piece count animal figure, poseable legs (removable) and removable head and a tan minifig scale AAT (redesign, similair to the 8018, with some differences). Also comes with a couple of new gungan weapons. Piece count: About 400. Price: €60 Tusken Camp Minifigs: 2 Tusken Raider warriors (redesigned with new head, horns included), 1 Tusken Raider chieftain, 2 Jawas and a skeleton. (Total: 6) Comes with: New Bantha, Tusken Camp components (i.e. tents and a weapon rack) on sandy and rocky hills/mountains (optional), some loose bones and the corpse of an animal. New gaffi sticks with tusken rifles for the Tuskens, and stun blasters for both Jawas included. Piece count: About 150. Price: €25 Ewok Tree Village Minifigs: Luke Skywalker (Endor), Han Solo, C-3PO, Chewbacca, Wicket, Chief Chirpa, Logray, 2 generic ewoks (brown fur, dark brown hood and the other brown fur with a dark green hood) and 1 stormtrooper. (Total: 10) Comes with: Large tree with a platform to support 2 huts, the "throne" for 3PO, the cooking place, some plants and several weapons for the ewoks, aswell as a lightsaber for Luke, and a blaster for Han (the new one from this year's battlepacks). Piece count: About 400 Price: €45 ~ General Magma
