Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
General Magma replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Uh oh. This leads me to believe that Savage Opress is Asajj Ventress in disguise. But why does Dooku want to kill her, as seen in those trailers? ~ General Magma -
I do. For two reasons, really. First reason: I would really like to see the Ewok Attack set, and maybe the Sith Infiltrator to see how big it actually is - and if we're getting a new Maul figure or not. Second reason: I want proof whether this Jordan is right about the new sets or not. Is he lying? Does he even exist? It's been the end of the week already, and we suddenly don't hear anything from commander_neyo anymore. ~ General Magma

General Magma's Star Wars Figures
General Magma replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks! Yes; in fact, I already have a couple of figures ready to be photographed and posted, so stay tuned! ~ General Magma -
What happened to this Jordan that promised us pictures by the end of last week? Makes me a bit more sceptic about it. Also, about the speederbike for "Ewok Attack": I hope it's a newly improved version.. The pedestals were too short on all previous versions, that could be fixed with a hinge bar with a 1x1 clip attached, placed onto the place where wheels would go for a regular LEGO tri-motorcycle/bike. Hopefully we'll be getting something new and better, instead of the older, inaccurate speederbikes. No, it's more like vice versa. PT and TCW are horrible in comparison with the OT. I hope you mixed up the three, else I'll have to highly disagree with you. ~ General Magma

Very nice shot, Smoke! The lightning is great. Do you know where we could find a video of the deleted scene? ~ General Magma

Yep, just like he appeared to know something about an upcoming Geonosis set a while back. As for the A-Wing thing: I don't think there will be one in the MF. It is a possibility if it's the falcon for ROTJ (which it will most likely be - we've had 2 system Falcons so far, this will be the third one. First ANH, in 2004 we got the one from ESB, and now ROTJ? So, an A-Wing could maybe be included as an extra in the set, but I doubt so. ~ General Magma

Fanworld Cologne - My Star Wars Layout
General Magma replied to Sir von Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Holy.. This is amazing, and not just amazing... Incredible, awesome, gigantic, superior, epic, etc. (can't think of more, nothing could actually describe this) 72 48x48 baseplates and over 350K pieces? Wow. The best Endor I've ever seen. It's quality, not quantity, but this has both. Outstanding work, keep it up! I have been planning a huge Endor diorama for several months, but what is the word "huge" like when compared to this? ~ General Magma -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

Selkath? I've seen that video before, but I haven't noticed the Selkath! That's awesome. They were one of my favorite species from KOTOR, so it's nice to see them back here again. ~ General Magma -
Yes, he does. He also uses that staff-axe weapon of his, as you can see in one of the Savage Opress trailers. Thanks for the comments, all! My Savage figure can be found in MCW, in my Star Wars minifigures topic. ~ General Magma

I bought an Atlantis LEGO book today, since it came with a shark warrior. The book was quite cheap, and I thought it would be a nice way to get the shark guy that way. ~ General Magma

Heyo all! I decided to make my first topic in MCW (other than the question topics, etc.) where I show some of my customs. Here you can find some of my custom Star Wars minifigs. Enjoy! First of all, we have... Savage Opress Here he is, one of the few Savage Opress minifigures! The villain from some of the upcoming Clone Wars episodes. As you may know, he's a Zabrak, hence the horns. I think he turned out quite nice. Only thing I want to change in the future, is to make the horns with something that hardens on the minifig head, but still sticks onto it. The horns are currently just too soft, and I'm planning on using this figure in several stop-motion animations and MOCs. I made the face decal entirely myself. It's probably my second or third attempt on a face decal, and in my opinion, it turned out great and very accurate. Well, onto the figure now... Sorry, this picture is a little blurry... Savage Opress by General Magma, on Flickr Savage Opress - side by General Magma, on Flickr Savage Opress - back by General Magma, on Flickr Here's his UNFINISHED non-lightsaber weapon. I don't know the name of it, but it's somewhat a mix of a staff and an axe. Only the lower half has been finished: Savage Opress - unfinished staff-axe by General Magma, on Flickr Savage Opress by General Magma, on Flickr Reference picture for comparing to the real Savage Opress: That's all for now, folks! Hope you enjoyed. I've got lots more ready to be posted (and to be photographed). Also, if you know something sticky to attach to the head to make horns that harden on the head, but still stays on perfectly; Then please tell me your ideas for it. Thanks, and enjoy. More coming soon. ~ General Magma

Thanks alot, LuxorV! In a few days, I'll probably have a picture of Anakin and Darth Malgus up. I'll probably make a second torso for Anakin, making the belt dark brown to match with the real belt from the official ripped torso (and one with the grey belt), if that's fine with you. But other than that it's perfect! Thanks again. ~ General Magma

Thanks for the new info, commander neyo! The amount of figures we'll probably be getting sounds to be very promising. But somehow, it seems suspicious. While it might as well be true, the amount of figures Jordan told you there would be included in the sets seems a bit too high, for TLC standards. The clonetroopers (Thire, etc.) and Yoda, are most likely true though. We've seen minifigs like that in Greg's pic. Other than that, I'm disappointed with the lack of OT sets there... Well, there are too many Clone Wars sets, and too much stuff I wanted to see next year that won't be released. So that's probably just me. ~ General Magma

I just want to remind everyone of my decal requests, one which I requested a week ago, the other one 2 weeks ago. I'd like a decal for Anakin's torso from Episode III please, just not the official one. I'd like a front and back decal that resembles an intact version of the new one that came in Palpatine's shuttle without the torn/ripped parts and scars: As long as it doesn't have the scars and isn't torn, so it resembles the real Anakin shirt during the battle on Mustafar. Plus the belt from the new official one, and some of the curved "robe lines" if possible: The brown parts in dark brown, please. I'd also like a face decal for Darth Malgus. I tried to do it myself, but it just didn't work out well, especially the eyes got messed up... Thanks to anyone who is willing to do these. They would come in handy for other people in need of Old Republic decals, too. Here's some reference pics (please also add the mask thing): The second pic shows his mouth, but I added that pic for more details. I'd like to have the face mask from the first pic there.

Thanks! Sounds great, 3 Ewoks! I'm just disappointed with the lack of Rebel Commandos and stormtroopers, but thanks for confirming this. Now I know I should just buy extra's of those off BL for my Endor project... The Ewok Attack is definitely going to be a must-buy-multiple for me. Quit complaining. The last one was 8 years ago, next year it'll be 9. Almost a decade. It also costs a heap on BL and eBay, hard to get and it includes the old ewoks. People complaining about semi-remakes of old sets that are rare now are really starting to bug me. ~ General Magma

I went to the store today to buy some zombies, but it turned out both stores I visited didn't have series 1 anymore (one of them had neither series 1 nor 2 - luckily, the other one had S.2), so I bought these things: 3 Spartans Kingdoms Advent Calendar ~ General Magma

8 stormtroopers is ridiculous. The only reason there was a large amount of battle droids in the Battle of Naboo set, was that they're much cheaper to make than real minifigures. I'd say 2 stormtroopers, 1 scout trooper, 2 ewoks and probably 1-2 rebel commando(s). Seems more reasonable to me. But we still need pictures, so we'll know it all sooner or later. ~ General Magma

I believe the Dathomir speeder will be a Clone Wars set. Probably from an upcoming episode, with the Dathomir nightsisters. I must say, the Ewok Attack and the Millennium Falcon sound very promising. The Geonosian starfighter not as much, but who knows, it might be good. The geonosians could be very nice aswell, and with the new gungans we're getting, I'm almost sure they will be. The only thing that could explain the ridiculous price for the Sith Infiltrator could be, that's it a much larger version. The first two SI's we got were pretty small. I'm hoping for a new Darth Maul figure, aswell. ~ General Magma
-
A new Ewok attack set?! Then it is true! The Geonosian Starfighter is there too, Sith Infiltrator is there aswell...And the rest of the first summer list we got, aswell. But what is the Dathomir speeder? I wonder what that could be. Thanks for the info to you too, now these have finally been confirmed... ~ General Magma
-
That was completely unexpected! Sounds like great news!! I guess the OT fans still are going to get some good stuff! As an OT fan without a single Millennium Falcon, this is very good news for me. I'm sure it will be minifig scale, since we haven't had a minifig scale one since 2004. After 6 years, we'll finally get a new minifig scaled one... Very exciting news, Whung, thanks! I can't wait for pictures at all, now. ~ General Magma

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
General Magma replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well, I believe the two are about the same (in the Opress story, the nightsisters do appear), so that would be January the 7th. So that's still quite some time away from now. But I'm looking forward to it. ~ General Magma -
Hahahaha. What a cheater! ~ General Magma

Now you brought up that picture again, it does seem there's the Y-Wing and the AAT, or the Geonosian starfighter. But, the red and white thing also looks a bit like a Republic frigate to me. ~ General Magma
