  1. I'm fine with that, really, as long as the geonosians are not cartoony. The AAT and the red Y-Wing together for $249,99 sounds really ridiculous to me. Oh well. I most likely won't buy it anyways. But it seems more like a mistake to me, either that or there's going to be much more in that set.. ~ General Magma
  2. I disagree, I'd rather have something else than a red Y-Wing. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm more of an OT fan. Kinda confused as to why they would throw two medium sized vehicles into one set, but we have seen multiple vehicles in one set before, so it's not unlikely at all. Overall, I'm disappointed with the new stuff, except for the geonosian sets. That one sounds promising, and I'd like to see newly improved, and printed geonosians. Other than that, there are other uses for geonosians aswell. The rest doesn't seem so good. (Although the Podracers may be interesting, too. It would be great to have a new Watto in it, but that seems very unlikely to me.) ~ General Magma
  3. I'm looking forward the most to answers for the first question. Another thing you could ask is whether they're the Clone Wars clonetroopers, or new Phase I ones. Maybe you could ask him if there will be any OT sets for the summer. Also, I don't think you're lying either.. These sets seem reasonable, no ridiculous wishlists or anything at all. I can definitely see it happening. Now as for the lack of OT sets next year: the Endor set could be a possibility, but I have the feeling they're saving the rest of the OT sets for the anniversary of RotJ. That's still a few years away, though, so I could be wrong. ~ General Magma
  4. Yup, that's right. I thought AT-ST drivers would be best for Endor, since I could imagine that the AT-AT drivers are more for like, icy and cold terrain, and other snow planets like Hoth. So the enclosed suit would provide protection against the cold. In SWBF1, the AT-AT drivers (AKA the Imperial pilots) get the AT-ST driver suits on Endor and such, while they get the enclosed suit on Rhen Var and Hoth. ~ General Magma
  5. The Endor set must be true. Else this is a terrible year for OT fans. The Geonosian set is quite good news, but if there won't be an Endor set, then my planned Endor project is lost. Okay, you said the Endor set is still a possibility, so I still have hope. The rest of the sets sound good, too. I'm really looking forward to pictures and more information now! Thanks for the info, commanderneyo. ~ General Magma

The minifig counts for most of them are reasonable, too. No ridiculous amounts, really (Depending on the set). ~ General Magma
  7. This one is really good, only problem is that there are too big gaps inbetween the chairs, and there should be twelve. But that is probably the best option to go for. ~ General Magma
  8. Thanks! When posed rightly, it is quite sturdy. It was kinda hard to place it onto the small "mountain" of the bignette, but the mountain's surface wasn't flat, so I imagine it'd be hard to place things posed like that onto it anyways, though. It can't stand on one leg (of course), but that makes it bad for use in stop-motion. (It would require masking to get rid of the supports it would stand on for stop-motion). But overall, it's pretty sturdy. ~ General Magma
  9. Thanks all! Actually, the feet are about the right size, if you compare it to this: (This was also one of my reference pics.) ~ General Magma
  10. Hello all. Almost 2 years ago, I did an AT-RT MOC. Two, infact. But those are old, and had pretty bad and inaccurate designs.. Now, 1.5 years later, I made a new version: Version 3. I improved many things now, and added some better details. Lately, almost every MOC I make features SNOT techniques, ever since I made my Bounty hunter starfighter. Anyways, onto the MOC then, shall we? I also made a bignette for it. Here's an overall view: I'm still not completely satisfied with the side plates and some bits on the front. AT-RT by General Magma, on Flickr AT-RT by General Magma, on Flickr AT-RT by General Magma, on Flickr AT-RT in action: AT-RT by General Magma, on Flickr The rest of the pictures are viewable on MOCpages and Flickr. Like I said, I still feel like something's missing, or that there's something that isn't completely accurate. I removed the technic pin sometime after I took the pictures, so the laser cannon is a bit shorter now, too. What I'm currently aiming at for the next version, is improving the front, and the chair section from the back. If you have got any suggestions, then I'd like to hear them. Thanks. ~ General Magma
  11. No, it was for the ESB anniversary. ~ General Magma
  12. Here's another picture reference for Anakin's torso, to be more precise of what I need: The brown parts in dark brown, please. Thanks. ~ General Magma
  13. Wrong. The Power Miners color scheme is based on real underground mining craft and vehicles. The colors may be weird, but blame them for that. Dark colors wouldn't be easy to spot in the dark, under the surface of earth, hence the color scheme - which is, like I already said, based on real vehicles. ~ General Magma
  14. There are several techniques to make a round room. For example, you could use plates and connect each other "halfly" (if that is a word). I've seen several MOCs that use plates for a round structure, I just can't find them for the moment. You could try using some long 1x(insert-number) pieces, and connect each other by the ends, so it gives it a bit a round structure. There may be gaps inbetween, so if you want to get rid of that, you should probably try something else. Hope that helped a little bit... Good luck! ~ General Magma
  15. Posting to remind you guys of my 2 decal requests, both from a while back. First one was in this post, and the other one is here. The latter one is the third post of this page. If one of the decal-makers could please do those (or one of them) for me, then I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance. ~ General Magma
  16. Source? Why would they leave the other Mandalorian driving the vehicle weaponless? Well, that guy either gets a regular blaster or the scope pistol, I guess. ~ General Magma
  17. Fantastic MOC! I really like it. The details and the greebles are outstanding. The cockpit is great too, it's just a bit too small though. Keep up the great work. ~ General Magma
  18. It appears looking up pics of both and comparing each other yourself is extremely hard, isn't it? Anyways, here you go.. They're clearly different. ~ General Magma
  19. Hey all. I'm already making plans for sets to buy myself for Christmas, but I can't choose between the following two sets, which I'll probably still want by then: 8038 Battle of Endor 5985 Space Police Central I got into Space Police once again, and I own all 2009 SP3 sets, except for Squidman's Pitstop and the Max Security Transport. However, I am also into Star Wars, and being into two Sci-Fi related themes may give problems for buying sets, or making MOCs. That is why I'd like to know which one to get first. If anyone could point out which one I should buy, including the reasons stated, I'd appreciate that - I'm horrible at making decisions. Thanks in advance! ~ General Magma
  20. Looks like she's angered. And two lightsabers, now? Who knows, she may turn to the dark side for some reason, and then gets killed. ~ General Magma
  21. Yes, but a discussion about the amount of stripes on a helmet is useless, still... Hopefully we'll get pictures of the summer wave soon, I'm really looking forward to see what we're really getting. ~ General Magma
  22. Sounds great. I'm looking forward to be seeing more of it... Hopefully I can combine the things from this with SP3. Quite sure we could. I'm not so sure about the name though, "Alien Invasion"? Seems less like a space-based theme that way, more like an invasion on Earth. Let's just hope it's atleast as awesome as SP3 was. ~ General Magma
  23. What's all this discussion about? A certain amount of tiny stripes on a small minifig helmet? Really, what do those stripes matter? If you really want more or less stripes on the helmet to resemble a certain character, you could paint another one on it, or remove one with brasso... As for the purists, it's no big deal I guess. ~ General Magma
  24. A few of them sound interesting, but it doesn't really appeal to me since I'm more of a Space/Star Wars builder... Which means that space armor/suits, new species etc. would be more useful to me. I'll just hope the monster and the werewolf would be of use as alien species.. ~ General Magma
  25. Incase you didn't know yet, that's Force Jump. But it looked funny though. ~ General Magma
