  1. This is certainly not a bad model at all. It's awesome. I hope you will switch to real bricks soon; you have the knowledge to build fantastic ships! I'm really digging the previous picture, not that many details yet but the basic shape is defenitely there! Keep it up!
  2. This is very good to know! Keep it up for sure!
  3. Impressive! I love those stern details! You have found a nice way to use the gold bars. NPU! I provide the same suggestion as the Admiral, it would make it even more 'galleon style'. Good luck on this fantastic project.
  4. I believe he will post an update as soon as possible when he has one. Such ships take a lot of time and money to build, and don't forget the planning of it all. So please, be a bit more patient.
  5. But of course! Welcome to the forum by the way!
  6. You love to build landscapes, and I love to see these cool things you have build! The landscape is really nice indeed! That deserted coal mine looks great and so does the waterfall. And the pictures are sharp too, which means the creation stands even more out. Nice job!
  7. I don't think Sebeus is only a good builder, but a mighty fine technical ship sketcher as well! I love such things! From what I can make up from the plan is the fact this ship is going to be magnificient, and beautiful, and huge-ish! Especially if I see how your 'first versions' look like and the amount of detail you are putting in. Amazing. I'm sure this will turn into an amazing vessel, especially to look at as you are using parts in such a creative way! I see parts in there from which I had never thought they would be useful on a ship! My compliments!
  8. A fantastic build! The size is amazing! I like the stern a lot, the lanterns are very nicely done as well. Overall the whole ship has a nice coloursheme. But I would certainly use Sebeus' suggestion as it makes your ship far more realistic. My suggestion is to make the gunports offset, now they are straight on top of eachother. I would also create a gap in the main deck for ventilation and light. I'd suggest to take a close look on ship models and/or other reference sources, depending ofcourse on how realistic you want your end product to be. Keep it up, it will be a beauty!
  9. I like it as well, especially the jellyfish. The chest is placed nicely too. I'm also wondering how this has been photographed. Nice one!
  10. How long did the build take?
  11. A fantastic army collection! Congratulations! I love your custom flag too, and your pictures are sharp too.
  12. It's unbelievable. I thought it would be never possible to built a decent ship on one of the most ugly ship hulls ever. It seems to be I was wrong. What an amazing vessel, I love it's thickness. Most ships seen here are long and thin, while the ships were true fatties back then! You have managed to capture it nicely. You have found some cool colours and crammed the ship with detail. The sails look good too, although I prefer more ropes. The pictures are also eye-candy! I love it.
  13. Fantastic work, I'm still in awe of the overall picture. This is going one of the best, if not the best, medieval diorama's I have ever seen. Keep it up, but take it easy too! Don't rush this amazing project.
  14. I'll lock this up as it is going nowhere. Cheers guys!
  15. This could be a set a few years ago... You have managed to capture exact the same building style! Not many people can achieve that in such a way. This kind of MOCs make me happy.
  16. Looks cool to me! The tree is very creative, as is the river bank. Nice photo quality too! I would only change the 1x1 green brick, surrounded by slopes in the last picture to a bley one. I would keep the BURP! Excellent.
  17. Hello there, and welcome to the forum. Would you please resize your pictures to a limit of 800x600 pixels? It would make the page much easier to load, especially for those with a slow connection or mobile phones. There are some helpful tutorials in my signature, they might be handy. Already thanks! Once you've done it I would be more then glad to provide some feedback on your brig.
  18. What an original and excellent building again! I only have one tiny nitpick; the 1x2 tiles above the windows and door on the lower floor, it doesn't really look medieval as it is architecture seen in the 19th century. The rest of the building is just gorgeous and it looks so cool! Especially the woodwork on the front. Keep it up!
  19. Lovely! I'd like to have a few hardcopies of those magazines. I know this has been featured in the Shipyard before, how did it end up? It looks quite interesting and I'm sure others share our interest too.
  20. Cool! :)

You can join me and Nykle too during a building session, might be even more fun. :D

  21. This looks really cool! The idea is nice too. The octopus is really well done, and so are all the things around it. It's the first time I see mermaids being interested in gold coins and gems. Nice job!
  22. I will see where I can come up with. Might take some time though. Your ship is making nice progress, and somehow I can't wait until you add the rower benches and oars. It's probably becoming the best Galley-type ship I've ever seen in LEGO, I'm still planning to build a Venetian Galley once. And this can be an excellent reference.
  23. Nope, not with those large flags in the signatures. It will split up the Pirates forum in two fronts, nitpicking eachother in every single discussion, denying and making fun of other members' posts everywhere just because of their flags. We have experienced this before, and we've made this decision. And since then everything went fine! And now this thread should look like it where it was meant for. I recommend everyone to read the first post! Thanks.
  24. Why is that? Please back up your point with some arguments so the builder can do something with the feedback, this is no feedback at all. I do think it looks like a Galleon, I just wouldn't forget to make the forecastle higher.
  25. Such a nice temple. The stonework looks great! Awesome picture quality too, it makes the place really stand out for me.
