  1. You can make your own torso's as well, take a look in the Torso Library or make a few yourself. It's not that hard, only difficulty is printing it in the right size. However, the quality won't be that good as the torso's released by TLC. Love your idea about the dolphin!
  2. I think you should deduct 10% to 20% from the dollar prices instead of adding 10% to 20% because the euro is more worth then a dollar. Deduct 10% - 20% of the dollar price and replace the $ with a € and you're done. I hope that will help as well.
  3. Badger is right about the fact there's a lack of accessoires in the Lego pirate themes. People who own some sets would be very grateful when somebody releases small accessoires, it may cost some time but it's defenitely worth it for people who truely like Lego. Hopefully Brickarms and CPT. Jr will succeed in making awesome bricks!
  4. I had to see when the Skulls Eye Schooner was sold for 60 pounds straight for my nose! The guy only shipped to the UK, I've been asking him if he could make an exception but he didn't answered on time...
  5. I know the BB will be about 94,99 - 99,99. The Soldier's fort will be about 49,99-54,99. Shipwreck Island is 39,99. I've based those data on the American Dollar and Euro course difference so I can only give some directions, I can't say what the prices exactly are going to be.
  6. Yes it's true there are a lot of them. Here's the one I played a lot: Click here The graphics don't really look good on the screenshots, while you don't need a very good pc for it. It's a game with a high "addiction-level", once you start to play it's hard to stop with it. Ye Olde Pirate: Your avatar is an image of Empire total war right? edit: insert link.
  7. I agree! It's always nice to see progress in a ship's build. You've done a great job with the new rigging! It looks very realistic! Are you planning to build more ships in the future?
  8. I'm unable to download FX lap pro, it said their link is broken... I've been browsing the web but can't download it somewhere. Can someone help me out? Already thanks!
  9. He will end up in a nice oak coffin when the Imperials get him! :pir-skull: Or maybe not... who knows.... I'm waiting with patience for the next episode.
  10. Love that! Lots of details in it and the colour sheme fits very well. The interior looks great, perhaps you could move the lamp near the bed and place it on the ceiling so it creates more room on the floor. The small sailing boat is nice as well, but you should do something about the tape, but it has been mentioned before. Again, a very nice MOC!
  11. You're right about the colours on the Bluecoats, but remember it was about 1989 when they released those sets. That's 20 years ago and you can't expect a large colour sheme or very detailed torso's. As you see only simply colours are used, also with the ships, no special colours like dark red or dark blue. Only basic. Because TLC released the Armada ( Spanish ) and the Imperials ( British ) I wouldn't be surprised if the Bluecoats represent the French.
  12. HMS Achilles sounds like it is a mighty fine ship. Can't wait to see the pictures! Maybe you can tell us a bit about how it's going to look like?
  13. Never heard of, but it sounds great. I've been very good at Age of Empires III and Pirates of the Caribbean, then waited for Pirates of the Burning sea, which I never had because it hasn't been released in Holland. Now I'm waiting till 3 Februari for Empire Total War, I truely recommend that game to every pirate fan. I don't see what this has to do with Lego Pirates but allright, it's funny to know which games are played by other Lego pirate fans.
  14. dude...that would be awesome. Make sure you got enough bricks in stock to satisfy my order.
  15. The bluecoats represent the French, if you look at the large flag you'll notice black symbols in each corner. It's a fleur de lis, and the fleur de lis symbolizes French military power. The fleur de lis is also visible in my signature. Don't like it too to be a historic party pooper but I had to say this.
  16. A nice review! I like the ship from the beginning because it was my first set. Unfortunately I was making a review for the armada flagship as well... Still nicely done because it's nice to see how other people think about the ship. Keep up the good work!
  17. First vote: 21. Nich Artri - Fishing With Envy and Greed Second vote: 20. Capt. Kirk - Walk the plank, you scabby dog Third vote: 14. Erdbeereis1 - Murder in the Market The first vote is for Nich Artri, I've never seen something so cruel! :pir-skull: I see no example of pillaging but the cruelty in it makes it to the first place. My second vote goes to Capt. Kirk with his beautiful MOC. This entry has cruelty, pillaging and the essence of piracy in it, and at last the MOC is just stunning. All this makes it to the second place. The third vote is for Erdbeereis, last but defenitely not least! It's cruel and I see pirates pillaging the market. The essence of piracy is visible as well. The MOC is very nice made, especially the market, it's packed with details. All this made me to this choice. All entries were beautiful and cruel. It was much difficulter to pick the best out then the small division. I think that is a compliment for all those entries who didn't made it to my vote list.
  18. I've been reading something somewhere ( probably the guidelines ) about MOC's: "The MOC's should be from the age of sail, so no steam punk." Although I like your MOC I don't know what to think about it because it doesn't really fit in the pirates theme. I can be totally incorrectly so please tell me if I do. Good MOC anyway and I love to see how the MOC slightly changes each age. Keep up the good work edit: some grammar mistakes.
  19. I love the Frenchies. Sad thing is the British army is still bigger. A nice touch would be to give all your soldiers yellow epaulettes, the red ones don't really fit in the picture. "We saw the British, we fired and they splashed like fishies!"
  20. Impressive army, I like the evil guy in the first line as well. Let's see how this army fights against my artillery. :pir-skull:
  21. Dude that's the best Lego pirate movie I've ever seen! I browse Youtube a lot to watch pirate movies but it's all junk. This one is just awesome! I love the storyline and the sea effects. The sound is perfect, even the voices are clear and it's just lovely to see and hear. I wish you luck on the contest with this very nice entry! You used greenscreening didn't you? I tried it and it's quite difficult, you have my respect delivering such a nice movie! I would set it on a DVD and then sell it.
  22. Now I get to the point! Lookin' forward to the next "update".
  23. Can't wait to see your ship filled up with cannons! Man, it would be almost an honour when your ship fires my vessel to the bottom of the oceans!
  24. There's a lot of pirate lego for sale, everywhere and always. The more the better, I'm grateful about Mr. Phes who shows us the hot items right here on Classic-pirates! Thanks Phes.
  25. Your ship is getting better and better Phred! I truely love the small sailboat. Good choice to fill your gun decks with non-MOC cannons, a few MOC cannons on higher decks would be great but filling the whole ship with it takes so much time. And money. I'm looking forward on your next update. Keep up the good work.
