  1. I'm standing for the same choice, but we in the Netherlands won't get presents with Christmas but today! But there aren't any Lego pirate sets revealed in Europe yet... Allright then, I would pick the Imperial Fort because it's easy to customize and it has great minifigs in it, the Governor is only revealed in this set, an unique minifig in the Pirate's 2009 line. Brickbeard himself is in this set as well. The fort is build with different sections, so you can 'change' the fort so you'll get more scènes, a ship has only one. The fort is easily to expand because there aren't much rare colour bricks in it, to expand a ship you'll need at least 2 sets of it. It is true the ship has playability as well and unique coloured bricks but that makes it hard to customize and that's an important thing in my choice because I always customize sets. They are both great sets and I'm going to buy both, but I prefer the fort.
  2. Thanks for the tip Captain Zuloo, I will buy some paper tomorrow
  3. That looks much more better then the small BB! It's splendid and it just looks a real Lego set. Unfortunately it isn't Though, very nice.
  4. That's a simply but very funny MOC Nicely done and the idea is cool as well. Keep up the good work
  5. Sweet MOSC, especially the tree like the other guys also mentioned. Ten years on an island... that's a long time so I understand the poor man's decision Unfortunately the dinghy just washed ashore at the moment het commits suicide :pir-skull: A funny and good MOC
  6. I voted for Average because it's a nice set, especially the cannon. I'm going to stock up this set Although, according to the Brickster, he will connect the cannon to a horse to travel with it around but there's a problem: The horse has only 1x2 space to connecting things to. The cannon has a small plate of 2x2, that'll never fit. But it's still a nice review!
  7. I know it's already 4 December and I read it's open till 24/7 ... Can I still join? At least I'd love to and have all the recuirements.
  8. Governor/Admiral Crunchy That's a very, very sweet name
  9. Too good to be true It is cool to see how your ship is building up, and it is huuuge! Can't wait to see it finished Keep up the good work!
  10. I agree But they should have made an anchor on it, with a capstan perhaps. The capstan is quite important on a ship. Lego never had one...
  11. Couldn't make a choice between Lagoon Lockup and Imperial Outpost... okay then...The Imperial outpost It has everything my favorite outpost needs.
  12. I'm bad at names, but the Governor looks a bit too friendly for such a rough name like Ironside but it's a nice name although. Maybe Lego will introduce some names when they bring more Lego Pirates on the market. Who knows
  13. Looks amazing for your first ship, especially because you don't have any ship pieces who makes it more difficult to build a ship. Your custom sails could be better but I truely love the stern! A tip for making striped sails: use tape on the pieces you don't want to paint and paint the rest, then remove the tape and you'll get a nice striped sail.
  14. I'm looking forward to the result as well, although the new pirates line isn't for sale in Europe yet But I saw some pictures of the BB and it's easy to expand, but I got my own ships to expand now Still not finished yet
  15. Agree with you all, I think the new pirates line will be expanded with at least an Imperial ship, perhaps some French bluecoats, Spanish conquistadors and Natives as well. At least I hope so
  16. Very nice army so far! I like your cavalry and landwehr the most of it. Although you should expand your artillery a little May I ask you for a tip? I see you have very nice torso's for your minifigs. I've been designing already a few torso's but do you print them on sticker paper or do you glue them onto your minifigs? Anyway, keep up the good work
  17. Someone enters the house with a knife, someone in the house is murdered with a knife, the murdered lies on the floor with in his stomach a knife, someone left the house without a knife. Indeed the knight
  18. Gosh...a shame I live in Europe...You lucky bastards I hope it will be for sale in Europe soon! However, I'm afraid when I enter the store the Lego has been sold out already
  19. My lord...It is almost an honour when the Phantom fires your vessel to the bottom of the ocean! So many details, the unique techniques used, the rigging, the size... it's just all perfect! I've never seen a ship like this!! This is a masterpiece! If LEGO releases once such a ship.......nah..they won't
  20. Thats an amazing MOC I like the ship and the idea sharks are attacking the town :pir-skull: Sad indeed you missed the deadline but maybe there will be another PTV contest! At least: keep building!
  21. A marvellous creation! I like, exactly as the other guys, the cannon out of the skull's eye. The whole skull is a great idea anyway and it looks cool too! The rest of the island is splendid! I like the small details all over it. But the skull does it. I hope we may see more creations of you in the future. Keep up the good work
  22. What an amazing ship! Packed with details and wonderful colors! The sails look great too. Everything is just perfect on this. However, the interior of the cap'ns cabin could be more detailed. But still, nicely done
  23. Very nice, small not cute MOC :pir-skull: You can see the improvements. I like it! :pir-skull:
  24. Use the new red coats in the regiment of the trading companies. As you see in Pirates of the Caribbean III, the red coats from britain were removed and new blue soldiers from the East Indian Trading Company took over the power. The trading company's soldiers can be an elite class as well.
