  1. Thanks for the review, ISC! I love the way you put the red sombrero on the clown. That looks great!
  2. Congrats to all the winners! I was really blown away by all of the entries. It was so tough to choose who to vote for!
  3. Presenting the Wild West Gambler! Three of this figure with a blue vest were up for grabs as prizes in the Spaghetti Western Competition, but since that is now in the voting stage I figured I would make the red version of the figure available for sale. 4. Thanks! Yes, we are in the process of finding an Australian reseller. If we can't find one after too long then we'll just start shipping there ourselves. :)
  5. Wow! Those combinations look great. I couldn't find my cow horns to try with it, but I love the way it turned out! I'd also like to note that we're now shipping everywhere in North America, South America, and Africa. Resellers for other places (like Europe) should be up and running shortly!
  6. Thanks everyone! The items are on their way to resellers in Europe as we speak. Hopefully they should have the products listed in a week or two! Thanks! The products are on their way to our Dutch reseller now. You shouldn't have to wait much longer. :) Great! I'll announce our UK reseller once they have the items listed. Good to see you again too JimButcher. I guess I did disappear for a while after the EBCCB, but it was just because I was hard at work getting these customs ready!
  7. Thanks! Yes, I haven't been very active on Eurobricks recently but that was just because I was hard at work getting all of these items ready. :) Here are a few close-up shots of some of the products. If you want different angles of any of them I'll be happy to take more pictures, just let me know. A few others can be seen on my flickr photostream.
  8. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend Brickcon this year. Next year we we've already signed up to be vendors at Brickfair Virginia and would also like to attend a few others (including Brickcon). It's always fun to go meet other AFOLs from different parts of the country, so we'll try to go to as many as possible!
  9. Thanks guys! Glad you like the products! Regarding International Shipping: We are not currently shipping internationally, but we are working with a number of international reseller in order to get our customers overseas our products as fast as possible for the lowest possible shipping costs. I will list my international resellers as soon as they receive the products and list them for sale. ~Thrash
  10. BrickWarriors is now open for business with 29 brand new accessories! We offer a wide range of accessories, armor, and helmets in ABS plastic, the same plastic that LEGO® uses. Right now all of the accessories shown in the picture above (including the minotaur head!) can be purchased on our bricklink store. The first 100 people to order will get a prototype (shown below) as their first freebie, so hurry on over to get your order in! Our main website (www.BrickWarriors.com) will be opening shortly, but we didn’t want to make everyone wait for our web-store to be ready in order to order the products. More pictures of our products can be seen on our flickr stream here. Enjoy! ~Thrash
  11. You guys have seen the Sawed Off Rifle prototype available with the Gambler Figure as a prize for the Spaghetti Western Competition, but I'd also like to share with you the rest of the prototypes I've been working on for Brickfair. All of these are made with aluminum molds and injected with ABS plastic. Wood Work Sniper Secret Agent Pistol Adaptive Warrior Rifle (AWR) Desert Vulture Austrian Bull Pup (ABP) British Hi Power P38 I'll have these with my available in very limited quantities at Brickfair tomorrow. If you want to get your hands on some, make sure you track me down! I'm going to open up a website later this month with tons of production items, but for now Brickfair is the only place to get these! In addition to these I'll also have an interactive display and a raffle for some really neat prizes. Thanks for looking!
  12. 2/ Pharaoh's Quest Curse of the Mummy by TazManiac – 4 Points 18/ Treasure hunt on the river Nile by Nieks – 2 Points 20/ The Walking Pyramid by Sandy – 1 Point All of the entries were great, but these three really stuck out as my favorites. If any of these three were offered on S@H I’d definitely buy them! ~Thrash
  13. I thought you guys might enjoy seeing my entry for the CCCVIII Realistic Castle Figure category: a Teutonic Knight! The decal and cape were designed and printed by me. The helmet, sword, and dagger were designed in CAD and painted by me. The vambraces are of course from Brickforge. Enjoy! Teutonic Knight Flickr ~Thrash
  14. Thanks for the birthday wishes guys! I’ve been working on a few customs, but nothing I’m quite ready to show just yet. For my birthday I received all of the series 1 & 2 collectible minifigs, so I have lots of new interesting parts to use for future customs! ~Thrash P.S. Happy birthday to everyone else on eurobricks born on the 23rd as well!
  15. For the Create Your Own Collectible Minifig Contest over at Brickhorizon, I decided to make a Genie. To make it look a little more like the real thing, I also copied the style of the business cards shown on Brickjournal... What do you guys think...would this make a good addition to the collectible Minifigs? ~Thrash
  16. Thanks Burman! I definitely agree with you about the plants. I originally planned to have a lot of spectators, but my blank torso supply was running a little low (I had decals designed for them) and I was starting to run out of time before Brickfair. As a result, I just filled in for the crowd with a lot of bushes. That would be fine. I've been using that minotaur design for a while...if I recall correctly I was inspired by Darkagent during the EBCCB a few years back. Haha, it looks to me like the Minotaur would win, so I'll say that the Murmillo got the thumbs down. Poor guy. The doors that the Legionnaires are guarding are actually blocked off right behind the legionnaires. The top floor does lift off, but the bottom floor is just a blank baseplate that I used to hold all of the gladiators when transporting the MOC. Sorry to disappoint! ~Thrash
  17. For my display at Brickfair 2010, I decided to create a game where people could choose gladiators and then fight their friends. This arena served as the backdrop for the battles. It was a lot of fun watching people come fight eachother, but it was pretty tiring to explain the rules to each group of people. It was kind of fun watching people try to Gore and Decapitate their friends, though… A battle between a Murmillo and a Minotaur: Some spectators watched. The guy seemed to enjoy it a bit more than the girl…: Maybe the girl was so mortified because she didn’t want to see one of them be thrown into the pit of death after the battle: More about the individual gladiators can be found in this thread over in the MCW. Thrash’s Gladiators Brickshelf Hope you like it! ~Thrash
  18. Here are some gladiators that I made to display at Brickfair 2010. People could come up to my display, choose a gladiator, and then try to beat a friend in a battle to the death. To make the game interesting, each gladiator was given different stats and special abilities that could be used during battle. It’s hard to see each one, but if you click on the high resolution picture you should be able to see each one (and their special abilities) much better. High Res Link Enjoy! ~Thrash Note: All weapons used are from Brickforge (except the arrow, chain, and net); all decals are my designs.
  19. These look really nice, Fistach. I'm excited to see how they all look when printed professionally!
  20. Thanks! As LuxorV has answered, these are decals. Yea, I wasn't too happy with the face for the spy. If I went back and updated these I would definitely make him a face decal. Thanks for answering that, LuxorV. Thanks! I was very pleased when I found the decals that I currently use...the paper stickers just aren't any good! I honestly don't remember where I got the idea for the folders. I never played with G.I. Joe, so I don't think it was that. I vaguely remember there being some sort of confidential folders in the Commandos User Guide (or whatever you call the little booklet that comes with the game), but that could just be my imagination.

    MOC: Jump!

As a prequel to my "Blacktron Sacrifice" scene, I decided to make a vignette to show how they captured the Space Police. One snowy night the Blacktron Raiders dropped out of the sky above the Space Police HQ. Their mission: get some prisoners for a sacrifice! Scene with no editing: On a side note: I’ve always wanted to try a forced perspective shot, so I figured I’d give it a go. I’m not sure if I’m entirely satisfied with the result though…I think it would have worked better if I had used a larger base plate and done more of the scenery around the Space Police HQ. Jump! 22. Here is my latest MOC: Blacktron Sacrifice! Deep underground in tunnels on Planet Blacktron lurks the dreaded Pit Monster. Many years ago when the Pit Monster was discovered, the Blacktrons were able to come to an agreement with the monster that they would feed it if it agreed not to attach them. Each month, Blacktron raiding parties go out and catch prisoners to feed to the Pit Monster. In order to reward the raiding parties for a job well done, the Priestesses always try to put on a good show during the sacrifice, complete with scantily clad guards, waitresses, and dancers. Usually the show goes great, but this time a Space Police detective has disguised himself with a totally sweet fake beard/mustache combo and smuggled a tiny pistol into the crowd. Will he be able to save his friends…or will he end up being desert for the Pit Monster? Altar: View from the Crowd: Pit Monster: Prisoners: Crowd (and disguised SP): The Ladies: The Disguised SP: Enjoy! Blacktron Sacrifice Brickshelf Folder ~Thrash
  23. The Blacktron Juggernaut is the most feared warrior on the battlefield. The Juggernaut is equipped with two back-mounted RPGs with triple lasers and a minigun with a single rocket attachment. One of the main purposes of the Juggernaut (besides causing ridiculous amounts of destruction) is to draw attention to himself to allow the other Blacktron III forces to move into position, so the Juggernaut wears a mostly white uniform to help him stand out. Decal by me Pauldrons, Beret by Brickforge RPGs, Ammo Clips, Rocket, Minigun by Brickarms Minifig Stand by Minifigworld I hope you guys like it...comments and suggestions are welcome! ~Thrash

    MOC: Eco Guns

Thanks for all of the nice comments! Thanks! The roof was actually intended to be a "green roof". I've never seen one in person, but apparently some buildings in the city these days are growing plants on the roof to try to be more environmentally friendly. I suppose it works pretty well for a jungle training ground too though... Haha, thanks prateek! And no, it wasn't my intention to promote hemp products...

    MOC: Eco Guns

In the Café Corner-Style LEGO world, there is an Eco Friendly Gun store called “Eco Guns”. Not only are they the only people in town to have a green roof, but they are also the only people in town to have the new green Brickarms. The Gruff Twins are jealous and want some green Brickarms, so they are attempting to rob Eco-Guns. One of them is hanging from a vine with night vision goggles with a silenced pistol while the other is pretending to take pictures on the sidewalk so that he can rob Eco-Guns when the sniper is neutralized by his brother… As it just so happens, Eco Guns is located above the industrial space that Brickarms recently moved into. The silly Gruff Twins should have just knocked on the garage door and bought a Green Army Men Weapons Pack! Overall: Front View, notice the Gruff Brother waiting to make his move: Green Roof, notice the other Gruff Brother getting ready to eliminate the sniper: Eco Guns Store: More pictures of the store: www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/EcoGuns/store3.jpg www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/EcoGuns/store4.jpg www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/EcoGuns/store5.jpg Brickarms Garage: The Garage was based on this picture from Brickarms: More pictures of the garage: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...ns/garage12.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...ns/garage13.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...uns/garage2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...uns/garage6.jpg Injection Molder: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...uns/garage9.jpg CNC Micromill: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...uns/garage7.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/thrash6/...uns/garage8.jpg Thanks for looking!
