Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I think both are going eol next year. Only sw to retire this year will be b-wing. -
I talked with Jan Beyer and others about this and the answer is always the same: it's companys policy to be competitive in all important markets. That means that they adjust prices to specific market (which seems to be more competitive in the US) and operating cost on that market (which are low in US, because market is not fragmented as in europe and logistics is much cheaper). This will not change. TLG is still profit oriented maker of children toys. AFOLs are important to them, but they make most profit with children

Bringing beer there and Lego back is very nice combination. Optimal usage of space :) Only problem is if you dont drink it all and it then uses your precious boot space. But, knowing some of the eventees, I'm not too afraid of that. :P -
I had them profesionaly printed and cutted (frind, who owns promotions company did me a favor), but It was not ok. Scanned picture is just too bad, lines between are blurred and colour is very off. Colur could be fixed by trying, but for real sharpnese we would need better scan or even vector image.

Roadtrip is always nice. And to combine it with LEGO activity is even better. I'm already planning next year's trip to Billund. Redhead: thank you for company during the trip. I hope I was no too boring. -
Uff, that just my day a lot better. Scalextrix is my second great love (after Lego) and I was already thinking of converting some of my less likable cars to lego. If I understand correctly, only complete set will be available? Too bad, because I have Carrera track and dont really need other scalextric stuff, except cars, which are compatible.

Day 3: Trying out some attractions: Holodoc after striking back with water cannon: Even in Miniland they have accidents (nice to see trains are made). We also got special "behind stage" tour of parks largest attraction (and guided tour of miniland before that): There were some stairs... Nice view: Going also inside the cave: Celebrity VIP transport: Another Bier Garden (and nice one to): Traditional Rat Spit competition. Victory (again) went to Holodoc. Each night we built lego: And sorted bricks: Competition officials: 2x4 creations: Sunday, before drive home. There was no space left in the boot for regular luggage, just lego: -

Me and Redhead finally managed to get home at around 5pm. We had to take take sevaral detours to avoid traffic jams, so we were (again) exploring nice bavarian countryside. Nice meeting you all. I had fantastic time and I'm really looking forvard to next event. -
Hehe, just now I noticed that even if complete iphone is in english language, weekdays are in slovene. I think you got it: sreda is today and nedelja is sunday.

Weather is looking nice:
-
If I remember correctly there is Wifi there. I'm bringing just my iPad and hoping that I will not have to do too much work. Redhead1982: I already washed and tanked the car, checked oil an other stuff and I ready to. :) Only thing I dont have is austrian vignette. Could you get it or will we stop at the border? I am still worried about those floods in germany. It looks like we will have to make long detour. :(

Hm, I checked "verkhers meldungen" and its not good. It appears that A8 is completely closed. "Umleitung" is possible, but probably cluttered with traffic. I will check again tomorrow and if it will still be closed, we will probably make detour via Zell am see-kufstein road. -
Lego 60031: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/File:60031_LEGO_Rolling_Storage_Box.jpg I think that lego support mixed up 60031 and 60026 (which is indeed on sale in germany from at least april 27th - I saw it at lego brand store in munich)
-
5840 Damn! In the same minute. :) RH1982: how did you find it? I opened all sets with plam tree and checked on more "purply" ones.
-
I saw it only at Lego Brand store. I dont have high hopes for it being available at regular shops, because I was waiting for 4207 Garage (which is kind of similar set) and it never became widely available. Regarding re-release of 7641: Maybe they just need City set in that price range (new set is fairly expensive)
-
You set colour to "ignore", so you will get "rainbow" coloured set. Main problems are large red panels, which only come in this set and are pretty expensive. Unimog has a lot of them, but in LBG and one in orange. I set to build 8421 that way and used parts from 8258, 8297,8295 and several other small sets for it and I was still short of a lot of parts. So I put it on hold for now and I'm scouting for cheap parts.
