thanks for topping thsi post again; ive never seen if before. I like it monthly, but I think it wont be long (unless you add MOCS, member sales and searches,...) HTML will do for me. PDF would be better, but I do know of more people who open a PDF file and then their PC crashes, i once had the same problem on my laptop. I never received a newsletter yet, but then again, I am only a member for about a week now....

COOL ! It looks a bit like a MOC ive recently seen on brickshelf, Its awesome. i think SW is the best non-historical theme to build MOCS.

There are no OFFICIAL sets containing bald Lego pirates as far as i know, but it is clearly stated is is allowed: I have seen tons of MOCS with bald pirates/men, even prizewinners! Pirates can use ANY official lego hair. i fully agree with the banana-thingie Shouldnt we open another thread on this, with only Q&A / FAQ ? This isnt readable anymore... I also would like to know more about the 4 th prize division, which you can win for creative critisism and so on, EXAMPLE: we dont have to ENTER that "division", that is what I can deduct, IF I am WRONG, please respond.

I cant find that Legohead / face, I would want it for my MOCentry... can someone please tell me if it is a common face or a custom face. i didnt find it on bricklink, but there are so many ofd them i probably looked over them. is there a facedirectory somewere like the torsolibrary??? I always think off it as a frigate (class 4 or 5), but i must admit i add the other guns in my mind, its simply impossible to produce a larger, 2 or 3 deck ship for TLC because few people can afford it... We all know some people are building great-looking realistal ships (the HMS Victory, the Dutch prins Willem,...) but i think we cant compare some basic Legosets to THOSE superprojects. Pirates didnt have Class 1 (or 2) vessels at all, if I remember right, i never heard of a 100+gun pirate ship, if we exclude the ones that were seized by mutiny - mutineers arent real pirates i think) BTW Even a Brigantine of a Sloop o' War had more then 8 crewmen... You need (as a standard) 6 men per gun (or at least 4 for a small 6pounder)

WHERE do you live??? Does NY stand for New York? (or New Yersey england,....) Stein-Welten mostly has some cheap pirate stuff, at least to bricklink standards... its located somewhere in buntaland (germany) Also check german ebay (ebay.de) even with S&H they are often cheaper to buy ! I might consider selling an imperial flagship of the guards (couse I have 3) for the right price...

Are they sold?? You are American? I am interested in the minifigs, backpacks and hats. but I fear S&H will be terribly high...and i have so many sails and stuff I probably better become a seller myself... I bought one for 30 euros (= approx. 42,5 US dollars) That was including instructions but only the front of the box (the Megablock who sold it to me cut it out?!) I have made better deals though, especcialy into Germany, which is THE PARADISE for legofans...(There simply doesnt live one collecter in Germany...or at least not much )

Mine loads as fast as i can click so no problems over here...Off course I must say both my computer (Quadcore 2.66/4Gigs Superfast 1333Mhz Ram, 2X1024Mb graphic cards in SLI mode , 10.000RPM HD's,...) AND my internet connection (20Mbps, the fastest non-professional broadband we can get in Belgium) are quite fast! I agree...to the fact youre an old geezer! No, youre right, I would have build it on a larger baseplate. I do realize I was making the same mistake on my first build (see my thread) so I "adapted" a bit in my second prelimanary version. Although some "zoom-ins" could resolve part of the problem. PS: congratulations with your knighthood Captain Zuloo, we both got ourselves a promotion on the same day!

I was just saying as a joke that this thread is 99 PER CENT (=99 per hundred) useless (=has no real purpose) As the thread creator, I think i have somehow the right to make a joke around it (especcialy because the topics are Me being worshipped by my harem, and the planting of shako-tree ) % = the symbol for percentage in Belgium, isnt it the same symboll all over the world?? And if not released in High-Up or Down-Under, you can still purchase them online ! Just order in quantity, so the S&H is lower compared to the unit price. And use the moneyexchange as good as you can, thats why ordering online is so cheap for us, Belgians, Dutch, Germans, French,...
