Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Zorro replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
How does one clean his SAILS?? Can I just put them in my washing machine? At what temparature? (im not kidding, I just dont know and I wanna know because some of my sails are just dirty!) -
In your case I would use them to form some additional units Bonaparte, I would certainly use some too build a French Sanitation unit (white epaulettes+shako+red paints??) and another French Guard unit (the Dutch grenadiers: white pants and white arms, shako, red epaulletes??) And PLEASE dont forget about the Scottish (the Grays??), no Waterloo without some Scottish units! Those are two units I am going to form for myself for sure, and have you taken a look at my list above? All those units carry resembling (red) unifoms! PS: I just noticed after posting this reply I was promoted to Citizenship! My days of slavery are over

CONTEST: Pillage the Village - Terms & Conditions
Zorro replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
Im waiting anctiously to see yours too (way too few MOCs comming in for the contest now) I want to see more MOCS ! This is my first Lego contest entry, so im trying to learn as much as possible! I have entered 1 Old Glory contest one (napoleonic-25mm) but that was years ago-and no Lego off course. People, show us more MOCs for the contest! I noticed dozens and dozens of you joining, so where ar you?? -
Dont worry, we believe you (or at least I do), and as far as I know, he didnt pattend it! (i sure hope thats an english word) Im waiting for yours, you will have a lot of trouble making a better MOC , because this one is awesome! (just trying to use reverse psychology on you to get the most out of it )

I think the pattern is very well done, your MOC too, but perhaps a tree would look fine? I dont know, just making a suggestion here...

Original and well build, but I think I saw it on another thread too You are a great MOCbuilder, do you enter the Pirates contest?? The more the merrier...

CONTEST: Pillage the Village - Terms & Conditions
Zorro replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
You are only as old as you feel yourself ! Just a little concern: It is being checked that no one is cheating the system by making multiple accounts to post more entries and to bring more votes, is it? I heavily trust into the competence of our great staff members, and into the integrity of the members of this forum, but its just that so many new members are joining just for the contest ?! (yes i know im new too, but I (think) i joined 2 days before the contest) No... I am NOT seeking to cheat... I dont have enough bricks to build multiple entries and some members of the staff lives just a little bit too close to my house Not to speak off MY unbreakable integrity..only breakable by a very large amount of money/lego bricks. (OH-OH...there are large amounts of expensive lego involved...BAH, there are still my first 2 reasons eh...) SUCCES, everyone ! And play it fair and square ! -
The style looks a bit like that set at the Lego shop, i like it :-)
-
Couldnt agree more, i want them back too! I could use them as some form of modern pirates. i gave it a 4 (above average) because you get that waht you've paid for. And you can have fun with it, even with the few pieces alone.
-
I doubt mentioning that would be against the rules, if no one could mention it we would eventually forget about it! That cant be their intention i dont know the rules that well though and I dont want to imply i know anything about international laws involving licensed products....
-
true, it does look like something from Hong-Kong, but it is clearly not intended for people like us, just for kids up to 5 to 6 years i think, no small bits so they cant shoke and large plastic sections that nearly cant break. And i think we have to consider the price of a measly 30buck (=20 euros!!) What could we ask for more for such little sum... A BSB?

EB Pirates! - Episode 1, Green Hair and the Yellow Thief
Zorro replied to El Bucanero's topic in Pirate MOCs
this is the first time i see it too! You are good with photoworks and telling stories. I will read every one of them, you must put a lot of work in them it seems. -
The ship looks fine and I realy havent got the slihtest objection to your minifigs either, i think they can be in the pirate theme, there are monster everywhere on some MOCS. Maybe to improve it,you could do something about the sloop, because something says me it is not as it could be
-
Must agree about the tophat, but the rest of yer crew looks good. What is the police and Octan doing there??
-
Looks like you have had a good start here. perhaps you could add a priest looking a bit like Bonaparte once maid, that you will find on the page below. I really like that priest! Are you sure about the color of the towerroof? is it suppossed to be some kind of metalplating? i cant recall the original...if there is one (only seen the movies once) http://lego-minifig-generator.mac-au.eu/

Still says "not yet public" But I can easily see, even with the blurred pictures, it is looking good. i dont see an army, or am I just looking right beside of them?? 8/10 from me! (I find the little island doesnt fit 100% into your layout, but thats about everything i can say for now because of the pics)
-
What would be the WEIGHT of so many minifgs, because I know they count triple towards bricks... An ENORMOUS collection you have there, luckily I can buy cheap minifigs down in Belgium and germany too, but seeing so much into one MOC makes me wonder why... Are you going to keep that MOC or do you have plenty more minifigs available?
-
Looks good, but perhaps some flat plates as tiles would look just a little bit better. Off course I know only few people have them, I myself barely have any (planning to change that)
-
Me too, but the prices are mostly outrageous, even here in Belgium because they werent released down here.
-
Whats not to like about it? I saw a home-made dwarven battle tank from a game once on a German toysmarket, i believe it was from designed as a Warcraft unit. Yours is larger and at least as good as his however. (and he demanded a small fortune if i remember correct)
-
Your MOCS are awesome, but I must say I, like your waterfall MOC above your drawbridge MOC ! I have a horse shortage too...
-
if I would buy one, it would be just for parts (primarely the orcs), since I want my orcs to be like in LOTR Good review, it tells me all i wanted to know
-
SNOT is fine, if used like this... nice MOC PS: orcs are born fully grown out of the earth? Or am I mistaking? It was like this in LOTR at least (just joking)
-
looks fine, but I would use "real" lego horses.

Temple of the Black Treasure
Zorro replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree about the red, and I wonder if you would be better of using flat plates (tiles) i could be wrong though. it is a very beautifull looking MOC anyhows, with enough details and realism.
