  1. Yes, we could use more pics, Wall-e's sister? youre sure she's not his brother??? She seems to have quite a big gun you know...
  2. Actually we in Belgium feel the crisis equally, the local market (BEL 20) has lost more then 40% since january 2007. And my bank, Fortis, has totally crashed! An emergency government fund from the BeNeLux governments is pumping 11 billion euros (16,5 Billion USD)into it to save it from going under. If my bank goes broke, so will I and then I wont be able to buy much Lego anymore (probably would be forced to sell some ) This however is an unlikely event, and even when it goes broke we have received government assurance they will garanty our bank saldo's. But if other banks (like Dexia, who is also in big trouble) goes broke at the same time, there is no way in hell the Belgium government can pay all savings the population made... Today it looks a bit better though, BEL-20 going up for 5% (around noon 12h) Its not just the USA that has to suffer
  3. It really was a great MOC; now the wizard and his wife will have to find another mushroom to live in
  4. Happy birthday from me too!
  5. I think you should search all these manufacturers websites and see for yourself. I would start with brickarms since they have a nice assortment. It would be a lot of work and I dont know one already excists somewhere, I doubt it... http://www.brickarms.com/ As you can see they are offline for a few more days, so maybe you should start somewhere else. If you could make it work and there isnt another one: from me!
  6. Its just copied... I think so too. I dont believe they'll make Halo Lego (or Lego Halo). I dont think there are enough Halo fans for that (I know they are a lot, but enough to develop an entire theme for it? No...dont think so
  7. Pay attention you dont swallow it with your burger We never got any free lego with our french fries down here in little old Belgium Review = Good, Set = sad (2)
  8. Actually this has another reason: I paid it (i think around) 1400 belgium francs, which equals to about 35 euros nowadays and 35 euros are NOW worth about 50 USD, BUT: in those days the dollar was a lot stronger and 1400 belgium francs in that time were not worth more then, lets say, the euro is worth now (probably even less). CONCLUSION: In THOSE DAYS it would have only costed 30-35 USD instead of 50 USD, what it would cost if bought now, Sorry for the mistake. (Damn euro and its stupid exchange rates )
  9. As usual, your MOC is as great as is his creator's skills. I love the waterfall and the flowers color combination. The rocks look great. Maybe just the bridge could be a little, little, little itsie bitsie bit better, by e.g. adding some tiles and /or details? 9.5/10 from me
  10. Wow, thanks for the link Joey Lock, it really looks I have to spend more time "Brickshelving" I hope he didnt give up, that would be just sad...
  11. Very well done indeed ! I consider myself to know quite a bit about German World-War II era aircraft and hadnt heard before of the Messerschmitt 282 Nachteule, so I almost went to wikipedia...to actually try to correct you. Till I read the next replies that was... You poor guy, you MUST be married
  12. I really like all your armies and I must say I envie you all... I only have 1 Darth Vader and 1 Clone/Stormtrooper... Having "too many" of these is not possible IMHO, unless you overpay them a lot that is... These Star Wars minifigs arent becoming cheaper after all. I think they can be seen as an investment, if you keep them for 10, 20,... years you will see them raise in value, just like the imperial soldiers and guards did! And there will always be Star Wars fans around. Off course most of us, collectors, wont even consider selling off their Lego, wheater it be Star Wars, Pirates or Castle ! A very big to all you Star Wars army collectors ! And thanks for showing the beautifull pics.
  13. UN-freaking-BELIEVABLE ! This one just slays the official Lego one, I actually hope Lego will COPIE him (but not without contacting the guy first that is) Welcome to the forum, iH Master 13uilder17 ! I hope you will enjoy yourself ! You will find this a very living and creative forum: I know I have.
  14. I saw the movie some time ago, I liked it very much, especcialy the "mute" part which was filled with emotions! Your Wall-E is great, simple but good-looking; and EVA too, I like your WALL-E more though.
  15. Wow, I would really like to see the finished scene on this one too, the scale rocks! I agree (a bith) with Sirnadroj, Intact and others, about the shape. Commie Jeeps looked a bit different though... Overall: I give it an 8,5/10 anyhows. I like your jeep just as much, Sirnadroj, I hadnt seen it before.
  16. Who voted no ? And may I ask why you voted no? Its your fullest right to do so, but next time, could you please explain yourself to the rest of us, since i apears the very most of us agree on the fact we like it... And maybe Zepher could then learn something from your reaction. I dont see anything wrong with it so I cant give him much constructive critisism, you maybe could. Please dont take this the wrong way, Im not trying to attack anyone...
  17. The original Lego Wookies arent that great indeed. But this one is, I find it has enough colors and people should remember its a magnified pic of the Wookie. IMHO: If you got to see it on legoscale, I think you would be amazed by its details.
  18. Or you could just order them online... I you have to drive very far or even start a search for them you are better of paying a few euros in shipping and handling... Thats just my opinion: I buy all kinds of stuff online! (a threadmill and computerstuff from The Netherlands, chipsets from China, weightbenches from France and The Netherlands, Old Glory miniatures from the UK and USA, petfood from Germany,.........) If you just search good enough and take advantage of foreign supersales/deals/discounts you will save a lot of money and driving hours (Id prefer the cheap and fun internethours above drivinghours anytime!) Good luck finding them !
  19. Zorro

    New photo

Anyone got a link to that other topic? I dont seem to find it! Thanks in advance.
  20. Would go nice with that enormous carriër I saw last week on brickshelf, veteran EBs know which one Im referring to, I forgot the creators name I fear. It is the HMS Hood that got sunck by the Bismarck. It looks great. I can think of some points to improve it, the details arent that yet indeed, but it isnt finished, so we cant start complaining already!
  21. Another great "comic" from the forummasters! I hope your sex reassignment operation went well,... If you want the adress of my plastic surgeon I will PM it to you, he did a great job on the latest Mrs. Zorro and I know he treats transsexuals too...
  22. Id LOVE a jabbathehutt palace, and if i were you Id choose a Millenium falcon. The official minifigs do often look great, but so do the "unofficial" custom made ones
  23. 23.86 EUROS down here in belgium... (=33 dollars) thats a bit overpriced i think... looks nice though
  24. Didnt do that yet... But I will do so now ! Thanks for all the comments and advise guys.
  25. You can sell them through bricklink or make your own webstore... Some on ebay perhaps? I think you may actually sell them to fans, especcialy if the prices are right. If you do, remember to start small, and dont take unnecessary risks! Love to see more of them...
