Perhaps you could build something similar for the Pillage the Village contest, I think you can use the hanging tree for sure there. As I have said more then once this week: you are going to be topugh to defeate if you enter the contest...
-
Seeing it does make me think of a cartoon series we had in belgium: dragonhunters ore something, they have isles like this too, but they are floating in air. A very good MOC though.

It looks realy realistic, and has loads of good details... Perhaps you should print a priest like woody64 has! That would be neat. http://lego-minifig-generator.mac-au.eu/ (scroll down)

I love the fact you would be able to play as Slimer.... At least that is what was told me
-

My brother is a huge fan of Nirvana, personnaly I like them, but not nearly as much as I like Deus (my favorite)

Whoow, I annexed my parents attic, but what youve got there is something i can only dream about....

I like it, but after doing a quick search, I cant seem to find which one you build? There are more then 1 Actives that fit the picture, can you please tell me which one youre making? I realy like history and historical MOCing! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Active PS: keep up the good work!

Really cool and fun... BUT ! Why have you made a Legoscene off my granddaddy and his new Polish girlfriend ??! How do you know them anyway? Have you seen them in any of their homemade videos, or are you a member of the same club ?
-
Gave it a 3, because off the low price... Doesnt look like anything to us, but we wont be buying them, its developped by TLC for another agegroup! And I think they just MAY like it (not sure though) So lets not compare apples with bananas...

ACTUALLY, He has already promised them to ME, and he has stated some very good (and fully true) reasons why he does that! (see his quote down here) QUOTE (Bonaparty @ Sep 27 2008, 13:65PM) I will be giving my entire army to you zorro, since you are the only one smart and good-looking enough to use them wisely. The others on this forum are all big kids who havent grown up yet, and frankly... I hate them! I have vested my hope into you, zorro, to become the next pirate-administrator, since I am heading to live on an island in the Atlantic.

A PENGUIN would be cool and doable I think! Or what about something with wings?? Youve got land and sea pirates, maybe time for an aerial creature? Im thinking of a pirate Crow? Or perhaps a Ciconia (aka White Stork)?? They look fine to me, and it looks like you are getting the hang of it now, at the rate you are producing...

WOW, thats a great MOC, I like the bed, the cute monkeys and the barrel net, as well as the treehouse itself! The water supply in the boat, the net with food?,... Too many things to say, You are a creative man! If I had made it, I would have made a bigger isle and sea, but thats just a personnal look, it doesnt do anything about the fact your Castaway Treehouse is one big winner loaded with details! Ps: I would like to live in your treehouse !

CONTEST: Pillage the Village - Terms & Conditions
Zorro replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
I didnt HAVE to remove it either, the staff said it was OK, but because a few members were against it, i decided to remove it anyhow to prevent a discussion around it. i repeat: i didnt want to "shock" or be funny, I just wanted to try how it looked as an extra detail. Pirates stripped officers from anything, especcialy their expensive uniforms. THATS a HISTORICAL fact! It wasnt finished either, if it wasnt critisized, i would have improved the looking of it, it actually was a surprise for me to see how some people seemed...well...."offended" is a big word but... -
Always glad to help out a fellow member! Me and my dad are true art lovers, and we have LOADS of books and "stand-ready knowledge" available, if you want any others, we will have a look at them. (this one luckily didnt take very long because i am a fan of him )

Dear Woody64, I just read your thread and i can say that it was painted by Keith Rocco !(99% sure) he is quite an artist, I really like his work! Edit: Now I am 100% sure! http://www.keithrocco.com/inventory/detail...p?productid=133

Dutch VOC ship the Prins Willim, minifig scale!
Zorro replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Pirate MOCs
Another one with the salary of a secretary-of-state (US edition)... Man Id wish I could build one like them but I dont know how to start, and although I have dozens of guns and soldiers, I barely have any bricks besides the one of my sets. It is looking really cool though, and since I am belgian, I will support for you ! The Prins Willem and the HMS Victory...We are sure being treated well these times. -
MASSIVE and INSANELY beautifull ! And how much would it cost again to build one of this huge scale??? Are you going to include the entire original crew?? I wish I had the technical knowledge to start such enterprise, I sure do have the time for it.... But I just wouldnt know how to start!
-
Yes...... Have you ever heard of the guy who shot that bunch of kids last year just to get his hands on the last set of that Star Wars Star destroyer? Well, i am that guy and I just got out of prison because of good behaving ! (for those not believing you can be released that fast i must remind you I LIVE IN BELGIUM, Chicago on the Nete (nickname for my town - REALLY, not kidding!) AND I called ALL THE STORES and they are keeping them aside for ME AND FOR ME ALONE ! Just kidding, Im from Berlaar, next to Lier so its just a bit too far for me anyhows

Review: 7979 Castle Advent Calendar (First Look)
Zorro replied to brickbitz's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Im going to order one for my nephews birthday... and just maybe one for myself! But, as said, it misses some true castle accessories: a horse is as important as the knight himself (the horse is the knights most precious possession), or as his armour, and what about a small baseplate ?? And perhaps e few more weapons,, shields,.... Oh well, we cant have it all, and the layout of the calendar itself also cost a pretty penny to make for TLC... Above average is my vote as well (7/10)
