  1. Always a pleasure. I've been wondering what an odd shape for a cargo container that is ever since I picked up the book, but I guess it's cool they picked up on it when designing the set.
  2. Death Star Planet Set, about the last one the shop had left. Endor BP for two-thirds the RRP.
  3. Great review, and a pretty good set, I should say. Doesn't appeal to me personally, but very well designed. About the little orange thing from Bag 1, that's some sort of cargo container seen in the Bongo's side cockpits in the movie and also visible in the cross-section drawing. Some nice attention to detail there.
  4. Looking at some reference, the cockpit window doesn't really look all that much too small. The problem is that is slopes down under the rear frame. Anyway, nice looking ship, but the price is... hefty, to say the least.
  5. Love them both, the camo on the Thud is spot-on and the canopy on the Dart looks great, considering the sharp angles and tricky shapes there. Looking forward to more pictures later.
  6. Pretty sure all his post-Ep I appearances before TCW were non-canon or in the 'Infinities' comics line. Anyway, staying on target, Kit Fisto is great, even if his printing gets worn a little too easy. I also still think Jedi Bob is really cool. On the dark side, Chrome Vader.
  7. Got a Boba Fett keychain.
  8. An an Excel table I compiled a while ago gives me close to 4200€ or about 5200$. It's missing a few more recently bought sets though. Updated, I'm at 4700€/5800$, all in recommended retail prices. That's actually... quite a lot, looking at it this way.
  9. One of these things, briefly used by both Anakin and Obi-Wan in Episode III to get to Palpatine's office and Padme's appartment, respectively.
  10. A hundred euros for that thing? That's... steep.
  11. There's a number I rather like, the AT-TE for example, the TX-130 (though I'm not entirely sure on whether to actually count it as a CW set at all), the AAT or, despite the somewhat shoddy wings, the V-19, but I think the AT-TE comes out on top in the end, it corrects all the faults of the first one and comes with some decent minifigs too.
  12. One, definitely. And preferably with figs you can actually build an army out of, nothing too specialized (looking at you there, ARC-droid pack).
  13. Wookiepedia usually works as a starting point, as you pretty much always find some screengrabs or similar there. More of those via Google, etc and other than that, I've got Visual Dictionaries and cross-section books on hand.
  14. Bought the Character Encyclopedia, lots of pretty photos and an exclusive minifig, what's not to love?
  15. Non-CW figs, sure, though I somehow doubt they'd come up with different Phase I clones. I'd rather like few decent vehicle re-dos, a properly small and pointy Delta-7, Jango's Slave I or an update of the speeder chase. Or maybe some that haven't been done before, the Royal Starship or a Hardcell transport.
  16. Very nice shot, very clean (well, the image anyway, harr harr...). I've got a feeling the new Sandtroopers were pretty much made to appear in Smokebelch photos.
  17. Anywhere from '05 to '08 really, but went for 2008 in the end: Death Star, Imperial and Rebel BPs, AT-TE.
  18. I think in the compartment next to the Venator (below the Naboo Fighter) might be a Droch-class boarding ship (the pod hunter from the Malevolence episodes of Clone Wars), along with two other vehicles I'm not entirely sure about.
  19. The Trident's at the bottom right, in a compartment along with some little gray ship I can't identify.
  20. I hadn't bought any Lego in a while, but I recently got the new X-Wing. A massive improvement compared to the 2004 one (one of my first Star Wars sets).
  21. Of all those, I personally love the UT-AT and that little Techno Union transport. Those, and the Trident. I'd say that's an FX-6 actually, the more evil-looking variant with even more arms that helps build Darth Vader in ROTS.
  22. Seems that there's a lot of Clone Wars stuff in there, the Naboo scout ship-thing, the Defoliator, that Geonosian tank, a Hardcell transport and Ventress' Trident. Also what looks like an Endor-themed playset with shield projector dish and a TIE Interceptor with red markings.
  23. A new system-scale shuttle would be nice. Considering how popular and well known the ship is, it's a bit surprising they haven't come up with a new design yet. 10212 is cool and all, but it's just a bit too huge and expensive. I remember seeing a pretty good Shuttle MOC a while back, using the part that appeared as a bus windscreen in City sets recently for the cockpit, but I can't seem to find that one again. Oh look, found it. Something along the lines of that. A bit bigger than the one we've had so far, but I always felt some extra size would do the shuttle good.
  24. A bit late maybe, but here goes... Hyderian Gunboat The wings fold up into the horizontal as a sort of "landing mode" and the red slope is moveable for no obvious reason whatsoever for added maneuverability. Another angle. The LXF file.
