    Mortimer shrugs, nodding. "Alright. I'll go have a word with them." He strides over to the trio of criminals, crouching down again, thumb rubbing under his missing eye. "I don't much care for the Wolfgang, but you're free to go. Big Red-- take care of your daughter. Family's important in these parts. Reg-- stay clean, yeah? And remember that you owe us a favour." He rises to his full height, extending hands to help the gang up. "Find someplace else to haunt, too." Once the thugs are gone, he turns to the party and motions with his hand. Time to move on.

    Mortimer's lips tighten into a scowl. "If you hadn't brought up the Wolfgang, I was honestly willing to let you go. I respect a man who follows his beliefs, but... You would've avoided this mess if you had cooperated in the first place, you know?" He shifts his glare to Keliim, shaking his head and running a hand through his hair. He takes a few steps away from the trio of criminals, speaking in a hushed tone to the Party. "I'm inclined to let them go-- if only because Big Red's got a daughter he's trying to protect."

    "Down by the docks, huh?" Mortimer mutters, rising to his full height. "Wish we could've seen--" He suddenly lets loose a deep sigh, running a hand over his forehead. His tone was annoyed; it seemed other words failed to find him. "Wish we could've seen eye to eye from the start." Mortimer glances back at the party before settling his gaze on Avina. "What are we doing with them?"

    Mortimer shakes his head, brow furrowing in concetration, before perking up. "Sounds like that bastard we're trying to hunt, isn't it? What can you tell us about him, Reg?"

    Mortimer sinks down beside him, eye glaring. "You alright, big guy?" he asks, his tone firm.

    Finally buckling down to get my votes in today. This is tough. It's a lot harder than I thought to think of the best villainous NPC; there's been so many great ones that it's hard to whittle down. What do you mean by "Best PC Figure" and "Best NPC Figure" by the way? Just our favourite PC/NPC?

    35 Gold each with 40 going to Annienal. Mortimer nods awkwardly, running a gauntlet through his hair. "I suppose I'm honoured, then. You ladies fight very well." Mortimer's head snaps to the message, shoulders squaring immediately, a coughing laugh escaping from between scowling lips as he shook his head. "One of these? Do not give into your pride. Damn vigilantes." He rubbed a thumb under his eyepatch, muttering 'at least it's not a megalomaniac' halfheartedly. "You guys find anything?"

    "Had to fight a knight who was known as the Iron Knuckle," Mortimer answers, nodding, his gaze unfocusing as if he was reliving a distant memory-- perhaps he was. "It was nasty business at the time. She's still out there somewhere, I think, though I am unsure if she's still a knight." He shuffles a little, frowning. "Seems very far away, now. An eternity ago. You seem well-equipped yourself. Which blade's your favourite?"

    Mortimer's brow furrows, and he hazards a gaze at the younger hero. The man made his stomach sink. He wasn't sure he could trust this wild soul. He nods to Diamond, rapping a hand against his chestplate. "Thank you. You all fought well."

    Mortimer hands off the loot to his Party, handing off some of the consumables to Avina for use in battle. He gazes around at the destruction, sighing. "Good work," he spits, cocking his chin at the goliath.     "Take care of Big Red," Mortimer orders, the Goliath's attacks smacking harmlessly into his shield. "The robot's as good as gone, just'll need another smack after it's worn down."     "I figured can take a free hit from him," Mortimer remarks. He jerks a thumb at the Goliath, and attacks Reg with Erdy's Handcannon from the Back Row instead. "Take the robot if you'd rather, though."

    "Save it! Avina's bombs are weaker, but we don't need that strong a bomb right now." Mortimer nods to Keliim, priming his handcannon.     Autoroll Battle Order: Mortimer attacks Reg from the Back Row with Erdy's Handcannon. If anyone drops within KO Range, he uses a Health Core or Potion if Avina does not. Annienal continues to attack Briar from the Back Row. As soon as Briar is defeated, she starts attacking the automatons or Big Red. Avina attacks MK11A dualstriking to MK11C with Zeta and Sigma from the Back Row. This turn, she uses a potion on Annienal. If anyone drops within KO Range during the other turns, she uses a Potion on them. Keliim continues to attack Big Red from the Front Row, switching targets to the automatons when he is defeated. Calamity attacks MK11D from the Back Row with a Darkness Spell, continuing to target the automatons after it is defeated.

    I've been working on trying to tie together another low-to-mid-level quest for the past little bit, but I've been taking it real slow after what happened last time . I'll see if I can't get that wrapped up if there's demand in the Hall, though.
