im no unimog expert but what is the difference between u400 and u500? i found thi u500 image

Well i am not offended, as i did not mod it for realism, i modded it for fun and playability, and this is my first mod since coming out of the dark ages. And it has some great pulling power as it is now, and i am very happy with my mod. maybe i will make an extended cab for it later on. And i bet u400 doesnt come with extended cab?

I have made the same mod, except i have 2 battery packs behind the cab and i wider and longer bed on my 6x6 unimog one battery pack is for driving (2XL) and steering (1M) the other battery pack is for dual pumps (1M) and pto (1M), and i have added one airtank for more playability to the crane,

Hi My name is Eddy and im 31 years old and im from Sweden, just left the dark ages, its been 20 years since i bought a lego set until now when i first bought 8275 Bulldozer, and then i bought 2 of 8110 Unimog. i guess im a slow builder, the first unimog i built by the book, it took 12 hours. but it was fun! Here is my first technic "mod" ever, i didnt have so much technic as a child. I have only extended the Mog and addad an extra axle for 6x6 action. Added an air tank for more playability and i have made it PF controlled with an XL motor for driving and a M motor for steering, the steering is geared down to 15:1. The driving is only changed in the portal axles, to 8-24 instead of 16-16 The next step will be adding one more XL for driving, and making a dual cylinder compressor for it, Well i hope you enjoy these bad cellphone pics, and i hope my work isnt all that bad, but hey, as i said, its my first big technic set ever, and my first mod/moc ever.
