  1. OOC: We are supposed to get him below 50 HP right, or are we supposed to KO this creature? Seeing two of his companions fall to the might of the beast they were facing, Jeaux took hold of the hand cannon as he prepared to fire another shot. He turned to see the party's assassin loading his crossbow once more to take the beast down. "You may want to use that handcannon of yours this round. We were tasked to bring this beast back alive, and I am fairly certain a bolt from that bow just might deal a killing blow."
  2. Gripping the Grogmas Handcannon tightly in his hand, Jeaux aimed the barrel up at the monster's remaining claw from the back row.
  3. I had thought about using "Shadowing the Shadeaux", but that sounded more like stalking than escorting.
  4. I'm cool with it, I've been following the battles from most of the different quests to try and familiarize myself with all of the classes and the rules are very easy to reference at any time.
  5. Thanks for the wishes of luck. I'll probably need it. I figure my first quest was hosted by Endgame so given that inspiration I'll probably be just as nice and gentle a QM as he is.
  6. Jeaux's aim seemed to be getting worse by the minute. He steadied the handcannon again, aiming for the beasts good leg. One of these shots had to hit. Jeaux attacks left leg from the back row.
  7. OOC: Looking at Heckz's attack 10+12 = 22 not 32. Jeaux slipped while firing the handcannon, spooking the creature into an even greater frenzy. He loaded another shot and aimed the barrel at his prey, hoping for greater accuracy on his next shot. Jeaux attacks the Left Leg from the back row, if the Left Leg is already defeated then Jeaux attacks the Right Claw from the back row.
  8. OOC: An assassin's miss is an aim dealing 15 * 8 = 120 damage. Jeaux repeats his attack again, hoping for the same level of success.
  9. As the monsters grip on Jeaux loosened, he fought to free himself and just barely managed to land on his feet on the hard ground below. He looked up to see the monster in a daze, swinging its limbs around violently like there was nothing controlling them. Jeaux propped up the hand cannon on a rock and took aim once again. Jeaux attacks the Left Leg from the back row, if the Left Leg is already defeated then Jeaux attacks the Right Claw from the back row.
  10. Discovering the monster's grip was too strong and encompassing for Jeaux too escape, he reached into his pocket for a potion and used it to heal Tarn.
  11. Jeaux struggled against the creatures grip in a futile attempt to free himself.
  12. OOC: I'm pretty sure Benji has the quiver of poisoning equipped, so the Allanoid and Right Leg would be poisoned. Jeaux looked up at the enormous monster before the group. He aimed the barrel of the hand cannon at the lizard's center of mass. Jeaux attacks the Allanoid from the back row
  13. Jeaux looked at the enormous monster before them. It was far larger than any creature he had encountered before. He aimed the hand cannon at one of the creatures legs, hoping to cripple it and ease its capture. Jeaux attacks the left leg from the back row
  14. "I am ready to depart as well"
  15. Jeaux accepts the water bomb, storing it next to his other two explosive devices in the suitcase. "Where to next? I believe Allanoid Cove is the next stop on our way around the Island."
  16. Time for Benji to change his class again then?
  17. Jeaux turns to address Haldor, "Do you think we should let Tarn wear him down just a little more (with counterstrike) and try to capture him, or should we just finish him off now?"
  18. Yay! Page 2^10, a much more important internet forum milestone than 10^3. I find I'll answer to Joe almost as readily as I'll answer to my given name just because I've been using my handle for so long (12+ years now).
  19. Jeaux fires the handcannon again at the orange rockling from the back row.
  20. OOC: Looking at Benji's crit 200 - 5 should equal 195. Jeaux steadies the hand cannon and fires another round at the glowing orange foe. Jeaux attacks the orange rockling from the back row
  21. I like the new Black Knight. It definitely makes the class more desirable and has the selfish attitude I think of when considering a black knight. The shield skill is great because it fits the black knight design, though a player can choose to redistribute the loot to the party keeping it from being too corrupted.
  22. OOC: I figured we had to explicity cage the others, I was just waiting to see if we could get the orange one before putting his buddies in cages. Jeaux glanced at the assassin as he began to load arrows into the large golden hand cannon. Arrows hardly seemed like an effective form of ammunition, since they would do little to build pressure and would likely be damaged by the explosion. Gold also seemed like a rather poor material to build a cannon with, given the ease at which it could be bent or molded. Though this assassin had seen far more battle than Jeaux and there could very well be etherial forces at play to counter any problems presented by physics. Jeaux loaded a round into the hand cannon that had been lent to him and aimed a shot at the orange rockling who had enraged Benji into losing his temper. Jeaux fires a shot at the Orange Rockling from the back row
  23. "I don't believe any of us has a garnet we could use. You could try giving him a bomb, but again I believe he would use it against us instead of eating it. If he is as taken with gold as the red one was, we could lay a path of coins to one of the cages and use that to trap him."
  24. "It would appear I have made another friend. I suspect we should be able to use gems to encourage them into cages without actually feeding them anything."
  25. No, I don't think Arthur has that scroll ye... Oh wait, I see what you did there.
