  1. "I don't care who gets the final blow in! There won't be a final blow if you two keep jabbering away! Get your heads in the game and stay focused!" Karie was tired of being involved in various individuals dances with death. She'd been it before, she had been forced to do it again. "Let's get this over with so we have a home to go to. Don't worry about healing. I've got everyone covered." Karie drinks another Grand Tonic before playing a True Love's Serenade from the back row. Battle Order Karie Thormanil Vindsval Arthur Siercon Lind Jinnipher Gabriel strikes Immortalis's Left Claw from the back row. Masson strikes Immortalis's Right Claw from the back row.
  2. OOC: Waiting for response from Endgame before I post a battle order, since I kind of want to know if I took damage or not. Never mind, seems I goofed. Battle order coming up!
  3. The worst? Worse than 4 Juniors? Worse than Galidor? Not by a long shot. I can think of several themes that have been worse than Angry Birds. Are they great? No, but I can think of several worse themes. Honestly, I haven't bought a lot this year, if only due to budgetary constraints. What I have bought I've been pretty thrilled with.
  4. OOC: On the topic of Lucky, Karie's attack is subject to the lucky effect, due to her Fine Tuned Guitar granting Lucky.
  5. Look! I'mma cartoon, kids!

  6. It looks great! Thanks a lot mate, definitely worth the wait!
  7. That livery... Really top notch job. I think the nose looks fine the way you have it.
  8. Karie takes a deep breath. She was at least happy to take a breather. "Alright, let's keep the pressure on him! We're going to prevail here!" Karie casts Frailty on the Left Wing and then proceeds to attack Immortalis's Left Claw with her Finely Tuned Guitar from the back row. Battle Order Arthur Karie Thormanil Lind Vindsval Masson heals Karie from the back row. Gabriel heals Siercon from the back row. Seircon Jinnipher
  9. Any update on how the drawings are coming?
  10. My biggest fear is that this movie's premise can't carry it through the entirety of it's length. The idea of a bunch of magical creatures running loose in 1920's New York sounds awesome on paper. I just hope there's more to it than that.
  11. "The who?" Karie was slightly shaken by what she had seen, but Arthur's seeming knowledge made her more confused. Despite this, one of the figures seemed to stick out, even if Karie's memory on the subject was fuzzy. "Whatever, we have a fight to finish! Arthur's got the idea here, hit the left wing! Just, give me a minute to prep..." Karie downed another Grand Tonic, followed by a continuation of her Rapid March. Battle Order Karie Thormanil Arthur Vindsval Seircon Jinnipher Lind Masson strikes the Left Wing from the front row. Gabriel strikes the Left Wing from the front row.
  12. Annienal jerked in her seat at Throlar's sudden appearance. "Um... Throlar, this is Sorrow, Sorrow, um... Throlar." Annie put her hand to her heart, seemingly shocked from Throlar's sudden appearance.
  13. <Tosses a cookie> Eat it, it's chocolate chip! In all honesty, I'm not surprised Lego hashed out a deal with Disney. Or maybe it was vice-versa? I'm at least curious to see what the sets bring to the table. I have little to no interest in the franchise, but I'll pick a set up if it's got some nice pieces in it.
  14. Well, this was a surprise. Can't say I saw this one coming. I'm certain if the rumour's true, this theme could produce some stellar figures. I have no real interest in the property, but I may pick up a set or two if the parts and figures are cool.
  15. I can definitely see the ghost ship Salazar captains and the Dying Gull becoming official sets. The others? We may see the Black Pearl re-released at a later date, but I doubt it'll be with the initial wave. Three ships would make the market a bit saturated, and I can't see Lego doing that. It's most likely the reason they didn't release the Black Pearl with the initial PotC wave back in 2011. Still, if the image posted earlier was real, we're looking at five sets, which looks to be a nice haul. I'm excited to see the figures. The first wave had an incredible range of figures, and Davy Jones is still one of my favourite figures released to date. I can't wait to see what Lego has in store!
  16. The in-game Sonic looks really expressive, and the physical figure looks equally impressive. It almost gives me some hope that Lego does a fully fledged theme, even with a minimal amount of kits. I should also put praise to the Gremlins and E.T. figures. Gizmo looks fittingly adorable, and Stripe looks particularly menacing. The figure of E.T also looks really good. Gah.... I may need to pick some of these up.
  17. Wonder Woman looks alright at this point. The WW1 setting is certainly interesting, and I do think it has potential. Justice League looks... alright. There's enough there that I'm at least intrigued by the movie, but it didn't spoil the whole thing, which is also nice. I like a bit of mystery when I walk into a movie, and so far Warner Bros. seems to have learned from the one godawful Batman v. Superman trailer.
  18. Karie winces as electricity surges through her body. She blinks hesitantly afterwards, remembering the vision. She pats herself over repeatedly. "Still in one piece.... thank the gods... Okay, let's keep this up! Everyone, keep at it!" Karie downs a Grand Tonic before proceeding with her Rapid March from the back row. Battle Order Karie Arthur Thormanil Vind Siercon Lind Jinnipher >Masson downs a Grand Potion >Gabriel downs a Grand Potion
  19. Annienal nodded. "He wanted the heat of combat. I, um, suppose he missed it. He was... well, not how I thought meeting a dragon would play out, but needless to say we fulfilled his wish." Annienal felt somewhat torn about Lethauros's fate, but she did what she had to do to ensure stability in Eubric.
  20. Annienal furrows her brow and looks through her book. "Well, um, from what I gather, dragons are kind of like us. They have personalities, desires, and motivations, just like us. It's just they're really big, reptilian, flying apex predators as well." Annienal nods her head, at least comfortable with her response.
  21. What else is there to do but gush? I could stare at these images for hours and just take in all the details. Awesome stuff!
  22. "Um... well, it talks about elemental affinity, how they fly, muscle structure, mating habits... you know, um, how dragon's do dragon-like things, and, um, why." Annienal responds. "I mean, um, I find it fascinating, but to the average individual it might not be so captivating a subject."
  23. So Harley's shirt reads "Smylex", which would be a reference to the beauty product the Joker spreads about Gotham during the 1989 Batman movie. Joker and Harley look amazing, as does Batgirl, but there seems to be another variant of the Joker. The one from the promo images of the movie shows him dangling off the side of the Lowrider with a purple coat with looooong tail coats trailing behind him. I'm curious if we'll see that version. Also, the Lowrider set seems to match the movie's model to a tee.
  24. For those asking about the googles (if that's still being discussed), I believe that's a nod to Frank Miller's interpretation of Robin in The Dark Knight Returns.
