"Oh yeah, just fine." Karie remarks. "Merely trying to get a rise out of Charon."

Masson target's Duplicate Wing A and B from the back row. Gabriel targets Wing A and B from the back row. "Not really making a dent, seeing how I have a lover and you don't." Karie smirked.
-
Karie groaned. "Alright, I'm getting people up! Watch your backs!" Karie drops a Phoenix Incense, hoping to revive fallen party members. She then continues with her Rapid March. Repeat Battle Order "Sort of like how we denied your girlfriend's existence?" Karie asks sarcastically, a devious smirk across her face.

"I'll be fine." Karie remarks, still taking deep breaths. She felt the coldness begin to strip away, but she felt her own lingering sense of fear fester.
-
A cold chill curled up Karie's back as Charon managed to nick her. She felt her breathing stop momentarily before her heart began to pick up it's pace again, the coldness causing her to falter as she played her strings. She grasped for air, taking in a few deep breaths. She nodded her approval at Arthur as he applied the Elixir to her. "Thanks... a lot." She mumbled. Her emotions began to warm her body again as she resumed her song. Battle Order Karie tosses a Fire Bomb Vindsval Arthur uses an Elixir on Karie Karie sings a Rapid March Vindsval Arthur Siercon Thormanil Lind Jinnipher Masson Gabriel OOC: Vind, there's no need for the tonic. Arthur's Elixir's enough to heal Karie. Thought's appreciated, though.

Karie growls at Charon, her rage visible. She casts a Scroll of Frailty at Charon then plays a Rapid March from the back row. Battle Order Karie Thormanil Arthur Vindsval Lind Jinnipher Siercon Gabriel smokes a Cigar then targets Wing B from the back row. Masson targets Stygian blade from the back row if healed. If not, Masson downs a Grand Potion. For his second action, Masson strikes the Stygian Blade from the back row.

Karie downs to Grand Tonics and a Grand Potion, shaking her head afterwards at the taste. She doubted she'd ever get used to it. She topped that off with a Mulled Wine and a whiff of a Smelling Salts. Karie grinned. "Seems I've rubbed off on someone."

I think the item's creator intended for it to be used by knight and barbarian advanced classes as well, but the item's creator (Sandy?) will need to clarify.

OOC: Can we please get a stat check before the presumably upcoming fight? A sliver of fear slithered up Katie's spine as she withdrew her guitar. She spoke to the angel, not directly looking at him, instead focusing at rolling up her sleeves and tuning her guitar. "I personally have nothing more to say to you, Charon, other than let's get this over with." As she finished, she glared at Charon, still intimidated by what was before her, but confident in her abilities.

"I'm holding you to that comment." Karie replies, trying to keep morale up. "If the floor doesn't try and and attack us, I'll be thoroughly dissapointed."
-
Katie shrugged in jest. "Well, let's make our way to the Judgement Hall, and we'll see if anything prevents us from doing so."

Karie stepped onto the grounds of Eschaton, grinning triumphantly. "A promise is a promise, Immortalis." Karie said to herself. Despite everything that had happened, she had made it. She felt excited, her body rushing with adrenaline. Part of it she knew was her own fear of what lay ahead, but she felt genuinely antsy. "I actually disagree." Karie replies. "I'd gander him to be at the Memorial, but if not there, than the Judgement Hall would be my second guess. Wherever we decide to go, however, we go as a group. The last time I had a group split up we ran into freaking piano demons."

Feeling the response from the Empath Glass, Karie thumbs it in her pocket. She moves her fingers across it. Ultimately she removes her hand from her pocket and leaves the Empath Glass alone. As much as she wanted to look at it, doing so in front of Masson would bring up too many questions.
-
"Well, um, no news is good news. That's how I look at it." Annienal replied, quickly returning to her book.
-
Karie hesitated to take Masson's hand. She was still upset at him over his comment in the Progg colony, but some amount of comfort after what had transpired was better than none. "Yeah. Thanks." Karie overheard bits of Jinn's talk with Gabriel, wanting to interject but decided to let it go for the time being. It'd be best to let Jinnipher have her moment with Gabriel, she thought.

The Good Dinosaur Wait... hold on... TheGood Dinosaur Having seen the movie, I still don't know what that title is supposed to mean. Sure, Arloo's a relative good pers- er, dinosaur, but so were the tyrannosaurus's. So, yeah, the title sucks. The film, however, was actually pretty good. Definitely not Pixar's best, but it's better than Monster's University and definitely better than Cars 2. The film is both gorgeous, and really awkward looking. The character models and the backgrounds are incredibly detailed, but the more cartoony character models sort of stick out in an odd way with the realistic backgrounds. The character models look great, and they're incredibly expressive, but there were some shots that, for me at least, felt somewhat off. The plot to the movie is simple, and I will say that it does tread familiar as The Land Before Time, an undebatedly better movie, but there was enough new ideas which made it feel like it's own movie. The film's plot is strung together by a series of loosely connected events as Arloo tries to get back home to his family, while slowly becoming friends with a primitive human boy who responds to the name Spot. Some of the set pieces are better than others. I wish those T-Rex's would've hung around longer, as they were really fun characters. All in all, not Pixar's best, but I wouldn't say it's as bad as some people have said it is.

Seeing Charon transform again caused Karie to shudder. She watched the portal to Eschaton close before returning to the party. "Let's get going. We've got work to do." Karie couldn't help but feel a sense of dread leaving the dragons in Immortalis's hands. She felt cheated, even after saving Octavyn and who knows who else's lives.
-
Karie heaved a sigh of relief. There was enough on the line tonight. She didn't like what she'd been contorted into doing, but she was at least relieved certain individuals would survive the night. She turned her attention to Charon, her anger beginning to bolster just looking at the angel. This was the last time she was being screwed over by this clown. She said nothing, but made her displeasure known. "As I said earlier, see you soon." Karie said, the humour in her voice from before missing. It had seemingly been replaced with a brooding determination.
-
Karie closed her eyes and cursed under her breath. Her frustration was beginning to swell into anger as she took a deep breath. "You're once again putting lives of the Syndicate members at stake to put me at a disadvantage. That's cold, Charon. Ice cold." Karie struggled to concentrate, finding herself wanting to lash out, but remembering Arthur's remark about her. It pained her to turn to him. "Arthur..." She paused, thinking her next words ahead, nodding towards Charon. "He's got my arm twisted here. I need you to hand them over. I'm sorry."
-
Karie snorts at Charon's mention of the word stubborn. She'd heard enough. "Deal's off, Charon. See ya soon." She turned to the rest of the party. "We're not going to get far with him. Everyone say your peace to this chump and let's be on our way."
-
Karie waits for Charon's next response, clearly becoming impatient with the angel.

No love for the Scarecrow Lady? I honestly think she's super cute! The use of the witch hat is pretty resourceful. I also adore the lake fisherman. I really wish Lego would release a figure akin to him: his hat would be super useful for MOCing cottage country.

"You're not being specific!" Karie replied. She wanted to tear Charon's throat out, but she knew it'd have to wait. She spoke as diplomatically as she could, despite her current demeanour. "You're being relatively cheap here, Charon. This is as one sided a deal as they come. Something "might happen"? Someone "might die? If you want to even get me considering making a deal, I want to know who's potentially at risk. You give me the names of people you intend to be slaughtered, through circumstances you brought into this city Charon, then we can talk about a deal." Karie stubbornly crossed her arms.
-
Karie's grin switches to a look of confusion, unsure of who Charon could be referring to. She thought for a second before responding. "Who exactly do you have?"
