  1. No, I think Danny was taking liberties when he used the baby t-rex as newts. They're normal sized newts. However, the more I look at it, those baby t-rex's would make for a great dire newt! Also, the Stealer newt should be nude. Just saying.
  2. This Scroll of Newtity is more savory then I thought!

Savor the wickedness! >:) Use your Newtyness!

  3. Oh, Endgame! You so witty!
  4. "I offered my assistance, Arnulf! If any of you need healing, I can help! I can't help you outright though, since I'm the only thing keeping Masson from not going into an all out frenzy. I'm the last thing keeping him from losing himself and going nuts. I don't like what I'm doing Arnulf, but if we're going to end this peacefully, then I can't help you in combat! I'm sorry."
  5. I think it's pretty common knowledge that Karie's going Minstrel, so why not? It's one of those great joke items, alongside the Scroll of Newtidy! I love how I'm going to be able to turn people into newts after Quest 70.
  6. Do you know how much I would pay for that?
  7. Shall we start a lynch mob? Vote: Dannylonglegs
  8. Ah yes, the wild cards! I really adore our wild card players! I would almost put Karie under them, but she's almost not outlandish enough to contend. What makes Nessa a wild card is her unpredictability. Karie despite how odd she is, is somewhat predictable. You know what she's going to do to get the info off the bard, use her charm and spunk on him. Nessa on the other hand, might go straight, let her mother step in, or go out and threaten him with her demonic voice. If you want a fun party dynamic, throw one in there. Or in 69's case, throw two in!
  9. Karie looked down. This wouldn't be easy to cope with. She couldn't let Masson blame himself for her own mistake. She shook her head. "He's gone through enough. He doesn't need to think I've abandoned him as well. He didn't abandon me." Karie looks over her Syndicate hood. Was this all just like what happened to Kayla? "Guys, I'd prefer not to fight. I might be the only person here who could get Masson to stand down, but I can't do it unless I don't fight with you. If any of you need to be healed, I could probably get away with that, but I can't do anything else. I'm sorry..."
  10. Karie looked back to the party and then back to the cleric worryingly. "Do you think Masson's going to be mad about this? About what I'm about to do? I don't want to hurt him, but I'm afraid he's going to hurt himself."
  11. "Do you at least think you can move? You're still not safe while you're here." Karie tries to lift the cleric up and behind the party lines. She tries to wipe the tears out of her eyes and makes sure the cleric is in no pain where he's resting. "Do you guys need any help? I can try and do what I can... but..."
  12. "Oh, um, sure, perhaps this best be left to the professional." Karie hands the staff over to the cleric.
  13. I thought it would've been neat for roleplay purposes, if Karie goes Witch (which she may in the future). Oh well, the masses have spoken.
  14. He said to strike him with the staff, did he not? Welcome to the game Lord Duvors! I'm not the expert when it comes to that, perhaps someone else her can help you winkwinknudgenudgesomeonehelpthisguy!
  15. She swinging it into the air! Not into his chest! At least, not until the last one.
  16. Karie's eyes widen as she shakily picks up the staff, cursing under her mouth. Just having the cleric's blood on her made her feel a little uneasy. Now he was going to crack his staff at his broken rib cage. "God, this feels totally contradictory to what should work!" She takes a few practice swings, taking deep breaths, still trembling at the thought. She closes her eyes, and then swiftly strikes the cleric with the staff, praying some divine being was looking down on her.
  17. Karie, still a mess from earlier, stays with the cleric, checking him over. "No, no, this isn't your fault. What you did was admirable, brave even. Look, you need to keep your eyes on me, keep looking at me!" Karie wasn't sure if the cleric would make it or not, not without the hands of a healer. She frantically looks about, trying to find something to stop the bleeding. "Look, you're better at this than I am, what do I need to do to stop the bleeding? I don't know how good another potion's going to do."
  18. "Damnit! No!" Karie bull charges for the cleric, checking his wounds, healing him if possible. The Syndicate could still be saved, and so could Masson. She had her party back on her side, but her mind turned to Masson. "Hold in there! I'm not letting you die! Not now!"
  19. "I still feel Masson can be redeemed, I still care about the boy who lost everything to the Wolfgang. He's as messed up as I am, and just like me, he needs a shoulder to lean on." Karie looks at Em, with a small, but significant smile on her face. She turns her attention to the cleric once again. "For Masson's sake, for the sake of the Syndicate, drop your weapon. There's been enough bloodshed already."
  20. Karie gives a small but noticeable laugh at Em's remark. "Thanks, I needed that." Karie, still upset, but feeling somewhat more stable, tosses her rapier to the ground, and puts her hands on her head. She was still crying, and still breathing heavily, but she had at least calmed down.
  21. Karie sunk to her knees, still breathing heavily, her face red and wet still blinded by Arthur's spell, yet somehow Em's speech had calmed her slightly. "Em... after what I've done... you still wanna stick up for me? Why? I've betrayed you, the team, everything we were hired to do! Why do you want to help me still, after all I've done?"
  22. Karie XP has encountered a problem. Rebooting system.

  23. Karie's demeanor slumps like it did before back in the warehouse, her character and facade shattered like a broken mirror. "I'm fighting for everything I stand against. I'm traveling down the same path my sister took. I'm throwing away everything Maxwell did for me. All in the name of revenge. My adoptive mother was right. I am a poverty stricken numbskull, and a pox-ridden waste of space. I am not Karie Alderflask. I'm a screw up." Karie stands there, head down, broken mentally, her thoughts shutting down as the memories flow back, and her tears running like a river. She makes not a noise, but the noise in her head won't stop, as every mistake and decision comes flooding back. "This isn't like you, Karie. You'll find a way. I know you will." Karie can't hold back. She yells as loud as she can, which makes her speech more garbled through her short breaths. "No, I won't! Not now, Cliff! I'm a loser and a knave and a good-for-nothing friend and a traitor and you know it! Go away!"
