Neither would Karie.
-
So far I've gotten 61 and 71. Here's to nabbing 81!
-
Wait a minute. The Wolfgang Generals were all murdered in quest 66. Very crafty Sandy, I see what you did there...
-
Karie smiled softly and sincerely, listening to Boomingham's voice since her vision was lost. She knew that Boomingham was more willing to run her through than the rest of the party. "I screwed up, didn't I, Boomingham? Typical. Maybe I am a screw up, just like my adoptive mother said I was." Karie sighs. "I would never kill you, Boomingham, you don't deserve death, none of you do. Would you kill me, if I was down and defenseless?"

Go away! My Sexy!
-
The only thing I won't let them do is kill Karie or hack off any limbs. Other than that, they can do whatever they so wish to do with her. Try and get her back on the party's side, give her to the watch, etc. I expect this will be her Heroic Blue Screen of Death after the battle, but we'll see.

"Em, I need closure. I need Ulric dead. I thank you for your respect, but the decision I made was one to better this city and to see the Wolfgang destroyed, not for me alone, but for everyone who suffered because of that bastard's regime." "Arthur... I don't want to fight you as much as you don't want to fight me... but this is different. Masson has been through hell and back. His entire family destroyed because of the Wolfgang. What it would take the watch years to capture Ulric it will take the Syndicate months to find him and kill him. Arthur, that man, that monster ruined my sisters life. It's because of him she's no longer here, it's because of him I will never get to see the person I spent the first three years of my life with! You said so yourself, Arthur, Patricia doesn't need to die, Ulric does, and with him dead, what's left for Patricia? With Ulric dead, the Watch won't be needed, and Patricia will no longer be needed, and Kayla's murder can be put to rest, and I can finally have my peace." Arnulf's words hit home as Karie begins to tear up. "I... I understand." Karie draws Sexy and sombrely shakes it back and forth in one hand. "Perhaps this is the last waltz. Perhaps I do deserve to rot in that level of hell you spoke of, Arnulf. You could fight a masked goon, but once you know who they are, could you still fight them? Don't make me hurt you as much as I already have and go back, please!"

Well, I aim to please! I was never one for stats and battles. I enjoy them, but it's not how I play. Stats are, in order of how important they are to an RPG, low on the list. For me, portraying a character who can be intriguing and dynamic is what makes me tick, and my god do I have a blast with Karie! She's not your ordinary, stoic hero, and that's the kind of character I enjoy playing.

All will be revealed in due time, young insectoid! If you want the just, Karie's working with the Stealer to get a shot at killing Ulric without having to be with the Watch, because of that incident that happened in the alley back in #66. You know which event. And yes, Karie does pull blue off rather well (also because I only have the blue ninja, but whatever ) Just doing my job. You know, I've seen Flipz lurking about, but never posting. Now I know how he felt a little while ago.

Karie simply looked down. Her voice was somewhat worried."You did say you'd let the one live who led you to me, did you not? Does that not count for something?"
-
Spoiler alert much?
-
Zoot? No, wait, that demon thing from the final shoot of #53? Or perhaps it's the floor!
-
Well it'll certainly be fun if the two get on a quest together in the near future. Boomingham ensuring she gets screwed over every step of the way straight from the get go, little to no loot! So you mean a chainsaw?

Endgame- Driving wedges between PC relationships since Quest #36

Karie looks down. She knew Arnulf was hurt. "That's a rather beautiful song Arnulf, but this isn't the end. I'm sorry you have to see me like this... but Ulric needs to get what he deserves. For what he did to Masson and his family, for what he's done to this city, for what he's done to me and my sister. The Watch is too corrupt to handle the Wolfgang, Arnulf. As much as I don't like it, the Syndicate is this city's best shot at ridding Ulric and the Wolfgang from it's streets, for good. That and I would never allow myself to work for a woman who flat out murders people in the street, no matter their allegiance. I'm sorry Arnulf, but if worse comes to worse... I will always consider you a friend... and I'm sorry we have to do this." Karie looked at Arthur, somewhat saddened. She hoped they would have ran, but obviously not. "Save the remedy Arthur. You're going to need it."

I lied about the chair and the rubber chicken.

OH GOD IT'S CONNECTED TO WREN!!! IT'S CONNECT TO WREN!!! I really liked the quest, Zepher! The battles looked fun with the variations, the plot was interesting, and those three witches! Who are they? The witches final monologue really gave me goosebumps! Well played Zepher, well played... Expect Scary, Jerry, and Thomas Jefferson to comment on this in the future, the trio are theater nuts!

That's the best alternative, unless the drop is the item the enemies using, like a weapon the calibre of Conspirator.

Especially his apples. Don't steal his apples!

The reason I did that was to ensure the Black Knight didn't steal the boss loot was because they were an artifact and a weapon, both rather powerful too. I don't mind the black knights Arrogant Prick ability, in fact, for the three battles there were in the quest, I was rather fond of his theiving ways, I just wanted to ensure an equal distribution of loot, especially after the previous fight with the Shadow Sister saw all the loot stolen by the Black Knight. In a fight against a load of grunts, sure, steal away. There, the attack is less effective since he's only getting a potion, or a remedy. For bossesthough, my mentality is if it's an artefact or a weapon, don't let them steal it. Do it once in a quest, and don't do it again. I like messing with party members by making them think outside of their usual strategy, but I'm also not out to kill them!

I thought your schtick was newts?

I like it! The face is a wee shallow, but it looks good!
