  1. This is Nickelodeon were talking about, another company who has licensed their property to Lego. This is less likely Lego not releasing images, and Nickelodeon saying they can't.
  2. OOC: All the enemies should be down one health due to the poison, and the masked guy should have taken two damage from the lightning bomb. No, seriously, I have no idea, I bought them off this witch in the Marketplace, and was intending to sell them off. Perhaps I should have bought more?" Karie ponders the safety of her current bomb usage, or to be more accurate, the amount she was using. She wasn't becoming a pyromaniac, was she? "What next, Skrall? If I stick to the back, I could take on the Masked Guy with Sexy. Oh, sorry, Sexy's my rapier. She pierces just about everything. Scales, metal, armour, you name it, she's pierced it. Oh, dang it! Sorry, Octavyn, forgot about what happened back... yeah."
  3. I was intending to hold onto them, and then sell them. Seems not, though.
  4. I was going to, I just wanted to see what others had to say before I did. Biggest failure for Karie? Failing 84. After what happened in 70, and seeing what she did to the party left more of an impression than anything else. So when the scenario came to her again to betray the employer, she felt the right choice was to give the bombs to the people who they were hired to give them to. And then Dyric and Thothwick vetoed with a majority rules. She was left not sure who to side with or what to do, and she sided with the party, not wanting to ever be on the opposing group of heroes. And then Dyric and Thothwick told her off, making her question whether she should have helped them or left them to the Hinckwells. Karie joining the Syndicate lost her trust with Arnulf and Boomingham, but gained her respect and backing with the Syndicate, as well as something she lost: someone she could love again. Karie lost everything in 84: she gained nothing. She lost respect from the Hinckwells, and she made enemies with two heroes.
  5. "Clever. Fabian? Who said I disagree with your taste in dress? I've seen outfits sixty four percent more outlandish than yours. Wear your past disgraces as a shield. That way, no one can use it against you. Good. I've been considered too technical for most people. I scare people with my train of thought. Numbers. Percentages. Length times width. Square roots. My bread and butter to a blacksmiths tools and kindle." She looks at her list, noticing the lack of people, looking indifferent. "They won't like this..." 6. I said preferable, not necessary.
  7. Well the icon he used was misleading. If you were joking, I would appreciate next time if you used or or maybe even or if you don't like that one, there's always or perhaps even the age old classic .
  8. Can we have context, Zepher?
  9. Remind me what the Shield was before the change?
  10. This place needs a boost. More character discussion! What is your characters biggest failure, and why? How does your character feel about said failure? Experience in Heroica is preferable over backstory.
  11. OR you could create a gift for someone that they can use, and not be selfish about it. If I got that, it'd hit you over the back of the head with them and trash them immediately. If we do Secret Santa, the item should be something the player's class can use, to avoid players from doing precisely this.
  12. Well then, I guess we're even, Mr. phononemonanl speller.
  13. "Sure thing, Skrall." Karie tosses a Pumpkin Bomb from the back row. "Mreoow... <Oh no, not more bombs...>" Hershey slides down from Karie's back and scampers off somewhere.
  14. Karie takes a practice swing, the tentacle turned whip give a decent "crack!" "If you really got to know, it's a tentacle from a demon I slayed out in the woods. When not in use, it curls back up my arm and acts like a tattoo. Although, that's sort of hard to see under all this garb. It took me a while to get used to it, but it's cool, and functional." Here come's the oddball look from Baradock in three...two... one...
  15. OOC: I should be down one Light Military Grade Bomb, Endgame. "Off to a nice start, I see? I can throw a bomb out if you guys want? That should take most of the crates's stability away. Although, other ideas are fine too..." Karie lets her Oculoid palm loose, as the blobby tentacle sways in the wind.
  16. Somewhat like last year, but also include a separate event with elements from the Z-Mail event with Grogmas Cards, so players can see what other NPC's are up to. This should fill you in. This was last years event. Just don't be posting in it! Last thing we need around here is confusion.
  17. Nicole doesn't really seem to notice Purpearl's odd behaviour. She simple continues to speak under her breath, adding the sides of triangles and other shapes. "No, I was born and raised in this city. I live down by the dock area, and often contemplate why, since I detest fish. My outfit is made from a compound mixture of leather and vinyl called linyl, and to say the least it gets me more attention than I want eighty two point seven percent of the time. As for these," she removes her glasses, looking them over, "these are a standard pair of glasses. Their common enough to assume you haven't been around the city, or civilization, for very long. I'm sorry, am I losing you?" 18. The woman doesn't notice Purpearl at first, staring off into the distance muttering square roots and trinomials to herself. She finally notices her and reconfigures her glasses, speaking in a cool, calculating, somewhat monotone voice, one not of evil, but of intellect. "Berthadhiell? Curious last name, you have there. Wood elf descent, most likely of the elves that used to flourish within the confines of the Eubric Forests some years ago. Your head piece, made of fine silver it seems. Mage, no doubt." She stares Purpearl over, taking her in. She readjusts her glasses. "Nicole Telsa."
  19. Whenever it gets finished. Oh, I'm just teasing. If you need help, Flipz, let me know. I got some figs in black, and totally wouldn't mind dropping some lawyers here and there if you so desire. I've got some figs I think would work nicely, actually.
  20. Karie rolls her eyes, although it's not visible under her hood. "No. I'm not getting paid with drugs, and I'm against letting these guys getting killed. We rough them up, and then send them home, plain and simple. We take their weapons as well, lest we want them harassing more people."
  21. I just don't want people picking up religions like putting on a badge. There needs to be a reason behind joining a religion/ identifying with a church. Not all religious people are 100% devoted as well. Some question their gods will, even in real life at times. I'm not trying to deter people or characters from joining religion, but it needs to be a serious decision. Or at least that's how I see it.
  22. Darn it, I knew I'd screw it up! You guys in the hall can talk to Nicole, you know?
  23. "I'm against killing these chumps, they're clearly out of their element. However, I'm not for taking their deal. Last thing I need is more drugs." Karie slipped on her hood, tucking in her ponytail: partially due to wanting get out of the cold, the other for wanting to look more menacing. Her mask on, she looked almost androgynous, with the only dead giveaway being her voice. "I say we at least knock them out with something. A sedative or..." Karie glanced over at Octavyn's baubles, pointing at his sedatives. "A sedative."
  24. As in? I really don't like the idea of every character adopting a religion. I have nothing against religion, nor do I wish to cause a spark. I simply find that if you give a character a belief in a higher power, it should be with a reason. If I was creating a religious character, they'd be questioning their god, and wondering why they'd let allow such acts like Wren and the Death Progg to be about. It has to be for a story telling reason your character has a belief, trait, or heck, even their starting gear. I'm not against characters adopting religion, but do it for character reasons, not to show off like an accessory.
  25. I may pop on by once I'm finished my quest. Karie's got questions she needs answered on a few different levels, besides race.
