  1. All we want is to see this creation flourish, not flounder. You may have created the game, but it's the community that's given it life. So yes, you created the rules and the major houses, but it's other QM's who've given life to the world and populated it with multitudes of characters and places and stories that you'd never have the time to create. So saying this is strictly "your creation" leaves a bad taste in my mouth, as if everything I've added to this game was for nothing. Imagine if Heroica was a movie, and at the end of the movie, the only credit was "Directed by Sandy". We know there was other talented people behind the scenes and on screen who helped make it happened, but they're not being acknowledged for their hard work. This is how you're acting. This is your game just as much as it is mine and Zepher's and CallMePie's and everyone else's who is a part of this community.
  2. Ugh, we've gotten to the point where we need to fake them? Why hasn't Lego just released the figures in sets? The market is there. The whole debacle last year was not impressive, and this raffle just needs to end.
  3. For kids? Yeah, heart eating, head crushing, sexual themes, and prostitutes are totally kid friendly material! I was shocked how dark it was! I thought it was good too, and I actually thought that the bookend with the kid was an interesting narrative device. It allowed Tonto to be an unreliable narrator, as well as a nice nod to how natives actually share stories: orally. I felt, although awkward at times, it made sense, and I can see what they were trying to accomplish. Sat down and watched Equestria Girls for a second time, and I can sort of see the flaws a bit more than through my first viewing, and there are flaws, but it was still really enjoyable. Probably more so since I finally caught everything, and sort of realize why Sunset Shimmer went Heel Face Turn at the end. As well, the animation was really good. It sort of winds up being like the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. I'd say watching the series all the way through is mandatory to fully enjoy both films fully. (And I adore the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, by the way, so much so I'd put it in my top ten favourite animated films. ) I enjoyed Equestria Girls.
  4. Karie catches her share of the spoils, looking about them. "More scrolls. Yay." "No, I was just wondering. I wouldn't be surprised my address's been passed around. Seems as if everyone in the Syndicate's broken into my house... just thought you would have... as well." Karie sheepishly look about, her face turning red. She quickly covered her head with her hood, putting it in place. Octavyn's words bounced around in her head. Who was she under her masks? She picks Hershey up and places the feline on her shoulder, her fur somehow minimally wet.
  5. Current Sign Ups for Quest 91: Eric Tryvar, level 19 Shaman (Myrrdyn) Purpearl Berthadhiell, level 3 Mage (Purpearljellyblob) Althior Emorith, Level 36 Necromancer (K-Nut Alexis Fenral, Level 35.5 Harlot (Masked Builder) Matthais, Level 1 Ranger (nstickney) Nicole shuffles about, still leaning on the wall next to the quest board. "I suppose I should head out. Finish up the last point seven percent of the issues involving the prototype." Nicole walks out of the hall and back into the bustling city streets, letting a blast of cold air into the hall.
  6. So, yeah. Season two of Korra was... okay.

  7. "No, but it seems like everyone in the Syndicate has seen my apartment." It seemed everyone in the city knew how to break into her flat. Abandoned castle up north? Where did she hear about that before... "Octavyn, have you... broken into my apartment before? Masson has, that cleric has... you know, just curious." Karie notices the barbarian step on the elf's wand, shaking her head with a grin on her face. "Somebody's cranky."
  8. Cannot wait! So nervicited! You Whoovians can have your Day of the Doctor! We got Princess Purple Smart!
  9. "The... what down there?" Karie looks over the railing to see what Octavyn was talking about when he said Ameoboss, taking her hood off in the process.
  10. Trap sense, TRAP SENSE!! Roll a d20!
  11. "Yeah. I guess you're right." Karie watched through the mesh of her hood as the green dust fluttered away on the wind, almost calling her to follow. She shuddered. "Thanks for, um... doing that." Hershey rubs Karie's leg affectionately, perhaps looking for attention, perhaps feeling sympathy with Karie. "Mreeaoow. <You did good. Now give me catnip.>"
  12. Well played, Scuba. Well played.
  13. Karie reaches into her pouch, grasping the bag of powder in her hands. She feels the weight of it, it's contents shifting about, almost seductive to her. She feels it's contents get heavier, mass amounts of laughter and hysteria growing from the depths of her mind and erupting deep within the sack. She slowly loosens her grip on it and slides it into Octavyn's hand.
  14. Depends, really. I aways played Hexed on rolls of Mass Illusion as the Witch has to control their opponents. So I don't see why Necromancer can't be any different. Depends on the characterization.
  15. Which is why we need mechromancer.
  16. What? WHAT? It's Uncharted. That's all I gotta say!
  17. Karie, still shocked at the immense amount of power the Pumpkin Bomb possessed, attacks the Masked Guy from the front row with Sexy. "Note to self: buy more of these things."
  18. So you're saying we need a new class that can control machine? Like a mechromancer? I like Endgame's "Shade" technique for the etherial, holy and demonic creatures, and I disagree with the two types as well, since it makes encounters more limiting. I will say that it doesn't make sense for it to be controlling machines, but what about cyborgs? I believe you hinted Shanxian getting robot legs? Technically she should be able to be resurrected: just detach her from the waist. Have her crawl about. Gross, yes, but practical and effective. I really hope you reconsider this one, Sandy.
  19. Hey, I know who we're talking about! I have to agree with the rest of the sentiment being said. It seems pretty pointless. If you don't want an enemy resurrected, state it as a passive special.
  20. "Skrall, where should Octavyn strike?"
  21. "Just realized I should be attacking from the front. Stupid me. I should note I rarely ever get this close, too. It's like everyone's gotten insanely good weapons as of late or something or another." Karie attacks the Masked Guy with Sexy from the Front Row.
  22. Eh, it's how the game works. I really don't hold grudges to players, only the characters they play. Typical.
  23. I goofed.
  24. "Rightaroonie!" Karie retracts her whip back into her arm, and attacks The Masked Guy from the back row with Sexy.
  25. Same. I complained about it in 66 when the kitchen party was knocked out for half the quest with nothing to do. It's just not fun for the people involved.
