So there's a dozen Dozenhands? That's twelve. So there are ten more Donny's out there, lurking. Waiting.
-
I now want a slew of fake Donny Dozenhands showing up.

Lilith! Actually, Pie, thanks! You just fed me a great idea!

Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro Just go watch this movie. I had no clue who Lupin was, and I adored the hell out of this movie! Starts of with a great car chase, and ends with a battle in a clock tower. I swear the writers of "The Great Mouse Detective", another of my favourite movies must of loved this film as well. Apparently Spielberg has stated the opening car chase is one of the best in film history, and I sort of agree. The characters were great, the set up was great, every moment memorable, I love this movie! Go find it, you won't be disappointed!

Someone's been watching Terminator 2: Judgement Day, eh Endgame?

"Well, it sort of helped. Thanks." Karie's eyes, looked about the flames, the greenish light almost intoxicating. She got up and noticed the mute looking over a piece of paper. Looking over her side, Karie cringes. "Just... just great. Dopplegangers, mimics, changelings. Creatures that can change their appearance." Karie suspiciously eyes the party, her palm twirling about Sexy's hilt, clenching her fist again and again, her tattoo becoming restless. Could the creature... already be here?
-
Thank goodness! Actually, that makes sense now. Good to know! How Karie joined the Syndicate's another long, and dense story.
-
Sorry if it sounds like I'm picking on you! I didn't mean too! Go read The Stealer of Senses if you want the full story as to why Karie's acting the way she is. I'm not trying to be mean!

Really? I thought it was the furniture. Tacky tacky tacky. So last decade.

Karie picks up the items and hands a Blind Fury to both Skrall and the barbarian, keeping the two love potions for herself. Karie shakes her head at Octavyn's comment, but gives an honest smile. "Octavyn, what do you think the answer is? I wouldn't dare use on of these on Masson... however, that doesn't mean they aren't going to be handy later." She turned and looked over at the barbarian. How old was this guy? He was probably older than her, but that didn't matter. Had the party listened to him, she'd probably be some thing's lab rat, this time for real. She gave somewhat of a melancholy look his way before continuing looking about, inspecting the fire.
-
"Like I said, only a hunch." Karie straightened her outfit, and secured her belt and rapier. The Oculoid's had already left enough scars to last her lifetime, each complimenting her dual pronged scar nicely. She hoped for no more.
-
Karie rubs her arm. It was hard trying to muster the courage needed to say what she was about to. "It's only a hunch, mind you, but... they're called Oculoids. Demonic, floating squid like creatures, who apparently originated from some live giving fire. Danad or some god left it. And they can suck souls out of people apparently, too. And they can control people, sort like... well, that's another long story..." She felt as if there was a pit in her stomach, as her head felt as if it was spinning. The Apprentice... it had almost been a year since the day it happened... and it still wouldn't leave her. Karie edges over to the chemicals, looking them over, but careful not to touch them.
-
Just... wow. Unbelievable! I can't wait to see the finished project!

Karie's gut begins to clench and churn as she reads the article through, her thoughts racing about. She'd hope to stay out of the demon's path... but it seemed fate had other things in store. "Guys... I think I know who's kidnapping the civilians... as well as what this place is: a lab. A lab for testing on humans."
-
Karie cringes. The whole place seemed like a bad dream. The ominous green flame illuminating the walls, the various vials and the axe hanging on the wall. A jitter races up her spine. It felt like the kind of place the green garbed Apprentice would've taken her. She moves to the loose parchment on the paper, removing her hood as she picks it up to read. "Damn this place gives me the spooks."
-
"Don't waste your time. There's a spot slightly darker then the rest of the stone below the right most vine." Karie points it out to the barbarian.
-
"No, but I think clearing away this seaweed will do the trick." Karie continues to get rid of the plant life, pulling away at the vines. "Skrall, you mind giving me a hand?"
-
Karie shuffles about the cool ridge, Hershey meowing from above. "Mreoow! Mreow! <Karie! Karie, everything alright down there? Hello? You dead or something?>" "Hershey, get going and get someplace warm. You're gonna catch a cold!" "Mreow. <True that.>" Hershey runs off out of view, leaving Karie in the stalagmite ridden opening. She begins to walk forward slowly, and searches through the seaweed. "Well, start searching. There's a reason the nets there, and I doubt it's for anything good, considering what's going on."

You're not the Paladin they're looking for.
-
Isn't that how it's supposed to be done? I remember that being the case back in 56.
-
Cranky old Uncle Lawrence, flamboyant Heckz, Great Grandpa Sorrow!
-
Reminds me of Shezow.

I'm really digging Marauder! Not my kind of class, but still very cool! The "high risk/high reward" aspect is pretty neat.

Fair enough. Everyone has their limit, myself included. I've exploded once on this forum, so I can say that it's nothing personal. We aren't denying your importance here Sandy, and neither was I. All I'm saying is that the community made this game what it is. It's never my intention to run you over. I also understand how difficult it is to create something like this: I've been a DM for campaigns before, and creating a world isn't easy. I really do appreciate the amount of work you put into this game, and if it seemed like I don't, I'm sorry. I just want to ensure that we finish this story as a community.
