  1. While I really hope that we do get at least 1 set from the movie, I don't think we will. I'm sure we would have heard something by now if there was going to be any sets for it. A shame that we won't get the Winter Soldier for a while, but I suppose there isn't much new that could really be made into the centrepiece of a set.
  2. Something simple like a few seats and maybe a small computer and perhaps a box of random parts (to represent spare parts for the Turtle Van) is probably all we're likely to get. After all, this Van isn't as expensive as the Shellraiser, so naturally there will be less room inside for anything substantial. I don't suppose it will matter too much though; a more substantial interior can probably be modded, and most children who get this set aren't likely to be too concerned by the interior anyway.
  3. Not a cinematic movie this time, but I suppose it can count. Last night I watched the Blue Exorcist movie. Pokemon movies aside, this is my first ever anime movie experience. I can say that I enjoyed it and was relieved to see it didn't create any continuity errors with the series itself. The plot was unusual, and I was disappointed that Rin and Yukio didn't use their demon powers more often during the film. It was still enjoyable though, even if I had expected better.
  4. While I don't think sets from Arrow are likely, I do think getting a set or two loosely based off of the show (in the same way the new X-Men set seems to be loosely based on Days of Future Past) would be nice. Getting Green Arrow without having to pay obscene amounts of money would be very good, and the prospect of a Deathstroke figure or a figure of some other villain from the show would be very interesting. Plus, seeing as DC sets seem to have to have Batman in them, a set loosely based on Arrow would work well as Batman fits into the environment seen in Arrow. As for Flash, I don't see much point making a set loosely based on that show just yet, mainly because we've only just had a Flash variant in the latest wave of DC sets. Saying that, I'm sure this show will also have a great range of villains like Arrow has done so far.
  5. Well it's good to know that I'm not missing anything overly important by not watching Agents of SHIELD. However, I have not been able to watch the One Shots. Is there anywhere online that they can be watched? I'm particularly interested in All Hail The King; more Ben Kingsley is good and I'm curious about what has happened to some of the villains who are still alive.
  6. I doubt we'd get her in the CMF line of The Simpsons (assuming we get more than one series). I'd imagine they would prefer to focus on the most iconic characters, and Janie is certainly not a very iconic character at all. I'd prefer to get characters like Willie, Otto, Moe and Mayor Quimby way before Janie.
  7. I've never bothered to watch Agents of SHIELD, though for a while I have been vaguely curious about it. Is watching it at all important to the MCU?
  8. Oh OK. Thanks for the information. I wonder how much they'll focus on the jumping aspect of Batroc during his fight (or fights, assuming there may well be more than just the one) during the film. I know he's called The Leaper and all, but I still feel it would be rather ridiculous seeing a grown man jump around everywhere in the middle of a fight. I'm sure we'll see a fair amount of jumping from Batroc, but I hope that they don't overdo it. *EDIT* 300 posts at last. Shouldn't take too long to get 200 more and be able to change my account name at this rate.
  9. This list sounds about right; it was more or less what we could have expected, though I would have expected Principal Skinner and someone like Moe or Mrs. Krabappel over Itchy and Scratchy. Even so, I'm liking the sound of this and will certainly try to get all of them, even if the price is above the typical CMF price (which, being licensed, it obviously will be).
  10. I get the feeling that this is something that I should probably know, but what or who is GSP?
  11. I'm loving the look of the Sandcrawler and its boxart, but I'm quite sad that this is way out of my pricing range, just like the last one was. It's a shame, because I really like the model itself and really wanted to get some Jawas. No doubt if I resort to the secondary market they will end up being ridiculously expensive.
  12. Typical that Marvel tease us with that footage and show Batroc, but we don't get to see the guy in action. Even so, it looks like this film will be entirely brilliant if that footage is anything to go by. I can't wait to see it in cinemas in 3 weeks.
  13. Well that bonus figure is entirely pointless. I may not have a yellow Luke Skywalker like a lot of people seem to, but I don't exactly want one either. And how can DK call it an exclusive figure when it's just a re-release of an old figure? I was going to get this, but I can't see that happening now.
  14. First song from Linkin Park's upcoming album, the name of which has yet to be announced.
  15. At this stage my plan is little more than to get £150-£200 for my birthday, then buy a few LEGO sets with that money (including the GotG Milano Spaceship Rescue, which I will definitely buy). Apart from that, I may buy a few CMFs every now and then, and I may end up getting a set or two at Christmas. Other than that, I haven't got any real LEGO plans for this year.
  16. Well, as I still live on pocket money from my parents (though I do get £30 a month), my budget for everything is limited. Most of the time, I end up prioritising other things I want (mainly DVDs, books and cinema tickets) over buying LEGO, so I don't actually buy LEGO that often. Most of the time I wait until my birthday and spend my birthday money to get some sets. I also get one or two for Christmas, though people are more reluctant to buy me LEGO sets for Christmas than they used to be. I feel that my addiction (if it can even be called that) is well managed, though I do miss out on the vast majority of sets I want as a result. Although, seeing as LEGO has taken up a lot of shelf space in my room (I don't have any extra space to store LEGO sets currently), maybe not being able to buy many more sets at the moment is a blessing in disguise.
  17. As is to be expected when choosing from such a diverse range of products, it is far from easy to single out one LEGO set as my favourite ever. When presented with the choice though, my favourite set ever would have to be this: I hope I haven't posted in here before; if I have this post has been entirely unnecessary.
  18. Second new single from Coldplay's new album Ghost Stories, which is to be released on the 19th of May.
  19. From what we've seen so far, I don't think that the movie Turtles look bad in minifigure form, though I do find it strange that they're all olive green other than Raphael. Splinter looks strange from the picture we have of him so far, but I'll reserve full judgement until we get a trailer for the film or until we get a better image of this minifigure. April looks fine from what I can see. As for Karai, I can't tell about her but I do hope that she turns out well. As for Shredder, if that picture of his movie design is anything to go by, we will have a very epic minfigure on our hands. I can't wait for these sets or for the film itself (even though us in the UK have to wait until October for the latter).
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMznh07VqyQ Snow Patrol's latest work.
  21. Last night I finished watching the second season of Rozen Maiden. Each season so far has had 12 episodes, so it is another rather short anime. Even so, it is still a pretty good anime, even if it is very unusual. The plot essentially follows a group of living dolls (the Rozen Maidens) as they battle each other in something called the Alice Game to become Alice, who their creator considers to be the perfect doll but was never able to make her reality. Some of the dolls team up with humans, who are referred to as mediums to the dolls (the dolls use the power of their medium to fight, so become stronger when they have a medium). The main human character is one of these mediums, though in the first season he is far from a good person. As you can establish, the plot is very unusual. The use of plot twists in places helps the plot along in places. Tonight I need to watch the two OVA episodes before I wait for season 3 to be English dubbed.
  22. All the songs from The Fray's latest album Helios (released today), including this:
  23. For DC it's undeniably Arkham Asylum, though from the system sets from DC, I'd have to say 6862: Superman vs Power Armour Lex. For Marvel, from sets released so far, I'd have to say that 76017: Captain America vs Hydra is my favourite. However, the Milano Spaceship Rescue from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sets will be my favourite when that is released.
