  1. I was unaware of that. If I'm honest, I only mentioned him because I heard he has quite a gruesome comic history, though I know virtually nothing about the character myself other than that. Even so, a character appearing in a LEGO game doesn't guarantee their creation; if it did, the Super Heroes theme would be the best thing LEGO have ever done. The odds of his production based on video game history is even lower considering he only appeared in the handheld versions of the games rather than the console versions (which inevitably make up a larger portion of sales of the games).
  2. The sets from the IM3 wave weren't bad as general sets, but as sets based on IM3 they were pretty bad. Pretty much all of them were highly inaccurate to the movie, though the Mansion was very accurate. Some of the minifigures also left a lot to be desired (the Extremis soldiers and Killian with glow-in-the-dark heads were dreadful for example) and a lot of the cooler suits from the movie were left out as well. By comparison, the sets for GotG all look completely excellent, though their accuracy to the movie remains to be seen. All the minifigures also look very good, though I am very disappointed with how Groot turned out, even if he is able to increase his height like that.
  3. I'm pretty sure you're right that they will probably kill off Cap and replace him with Winter Soldier before too long, but where it goes from there. As for RDJ, I would be sad to see him replaced and would struggle to adjust to a different person as Iron Man seeing as RDJ has done such a good job in the role. Saying that, I'm glad that the MCU isn't going to rely on the actors themselves to have the characters still exist in-universe; after all, that drastically increases the longevity of the MCU, which can only be a good thing.
  4. I suppose that certainly is a possibility. For someone like Punisher, unless he ends up in some form of Marvel related media soon, I would expect him as an SDCC exclusive rather than a S@H giveaway. Those giveaways, generally speaking, seem to focus more on fan favourites rather than highly obscure (SDCC is a mixed bag in that respect, but S@H seems somewhat more predictable).
  5. From what I know about this Civil War arc that seems to be brought up a lot on here, we would need a lot more characters in the MCU before such an arc is even remotely viable. As others have said, there are signs that this arc is coming, but it probably won't be for quite a long while yet, maybe not even by 2020. Obviously it depends what happens between now and then and what direction Joss Whedon wants the MCU to take, but this Civil War arc is beginning to seem quite likely. There's no guarantees yet though, so it's not worth getting excited for something which may not even come to fruition. I think I'll wait it out and take things as they come rather than hope blindly for something based on a few occurrences.
  6. I don't think we will ever see Punisher from Marvel, unless they tone down the violence of the character a bit. I would also say that Ghost Rider is very unlikely, especially after the disastrous films with Nicholas Cage. I'm not so sure about DC, but I have a feeling we wouldn't get that Victor Szasz (is that how you spell it?) because of the extreme violence associated with the character.
  7. In Brawl I often found myself using Link or Toon Link, but I also liked to used Meta Knight quite a lot too. I'd be disappointed if Meta Knight was included in this latest Smash Bros game. Whatever happens, this time will be completely different to Brawl, in that I will be playing this Smash Bros on 3DS rather than Wii U.
  8. It may not be interesting, but Ditto is one of the most useful Pokemon in the games. Breeding with Ditto is so simple and requires far less thought than working out egg groups and all that stuff. It's very convenient to have Ditto, though I do admit that its design leaves a lot to be desired.
  9. I'm quite surprised that we're getting so much discussion regarding the colour of Drax. I personally think he has looked green in every picture I have seen, but I am unconcerned about his minifigure being grey. Considering other inaccuracies we've had from TLG (dare I mention the Iron Man 3 wave), this slight inaccuracy (or accuracy, depending on what colour you perceive Drax as) is nothing too major; after all, the minifigure of Drax still looks very good and is very detailed. *EDIT* 400 posts. At last.
  10. Really? Looks like I've learnt something new today. But I'm not surprised that my knowledge of Agents of SHIELD is inaccurate; this is what I get for not bothering to keep track of it. I wonder how much the story was actually adjusted to fit events in The Winter Soldier though? Obviously what happened changes everything in the MCU, so it's probably safe to say that the changes to the story of AOS were massive.
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a grass starter in Smash Bros 4. I do expect it to be something with a different kind of bodily structure to the Pokemon in this game so far. Serperior would probably be the best choice, but I don't suppose Torterra is out of the question. I wouldn't be surprised if they were also trying to avoid using more than one starter from the same region as each other. Greninja's inclusion isn't surprising; Nintendo were obviously going to capitalise on the popularity of X and Y. I'm disappointed that Mewtwo isn't playable again though.
  12. I haven't watched Agents of SHIELD at all, but from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and what I have heard about the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the show was created with the sole intent of tying in with CA:TWS and to avoid having to make a movie about the SHIELD agents in the aftermath of CA:TWS. This impression could, of course, be entirely wrong, but it would not be surprising in the slightest.
  13. Owl City - Beautiful Times (ft. Lindsey Stirling)
  14. In the current animated series, Leatherhead helps the Turtles fight the Kraang to protect the power cell and to stop the portal to Dimension X. It's not exactly teaming up (Leatherhead is too much of a loose cannon for a proper team up) but it's pretty close to it. The advert likely presents them working together based on the TV series and to clarify to children that Leatherhead is a hero rather than a villain.
  15. I forgot about that episode. In that case, LEGO could make it work in some way, and I'm sure they would try to. I do hope we can get Moe in some way through this line, and if that means getting his tavern as a restaurant, then so be it.
  16. Clannad Soundtrack - Sad Songs This is only a part of the soundtrack including songs deemed to be saddest by the original video poster. The complete soundtrack is six hours long by comparison. If you've watched Clannad, prepare to be reminded of the feels it made you felt. If not, I'd recommend watching it to understand it and the emotions of it.
  17. I think it goes without saying that a Moe's tavern set is highly unlikely, if not guaranteed to never happen. This in itself poses a problem if the theme continues, as there aren't exactly very many memorable places in The Simpsons which could be made into sets featuring the likes of Lenny, Carl, Barney and Moe. These characters are all quite famous from the show, so it would be disappointing not to get them. Based on this, I would be not at all surprised if we get another wave of CMFs for this theme. I also wouldn't at all be surprised if that was all else we got for this license; while it may sell well, the theme has received relatively high amounts of negative responses from parents and others, including quite a fair amount of users who have commented in this thread or others where this theme was discussed.
  18. Well, if he does have a 9-movie deal, that course of action is likely to be where Marvel take things. I sure hope it is at least, because then we can eventually get ourselves a Winter Soldier minifigure, seeing as we aren't getting one this year (unless LEGO decide to be pure evil and release it as a SDCC exclusive).
  19. My favourite from Marvel is definitely the Captain America vs Hydra set. As for DC, my favourite has to be the Power Armour Lex Luthor. Saying that, virtually all sets LEGO have released at this price point in the Super Heroes theme (Black Zero Escape aside) have been of very high quality, and I'm hoping that will continue.
  20. Yeah... I have given up on K-On in the middle of season 2. Far, far too much filler for me to be able to continue with it. It's not a bad series, not by any means, but I simply cannot tolerate so much filler. The first series was fine and actually had some kind of plot line to conform to, but season 2 threw that out of the window and just had entirely random episodes with little or no coherence between them. That much was very disappointing, among numerous other issues that I had with this (which I cannot be bothered to get into). To sum up, I have watched 15 animes so far, and have more on my watch list yet to come. These are my rankings of favourite to least favourite anime, with the number of the watching order next to it: 1) Clannad (Season 1, Clannad: After Story) - 9 2) Future Diary - 3 3) Code Geass (Season 1, Season 2) - 6 4) Death Note - 1 5) Angel Beats - 4 6) Elfen Lied - 2 7) Sword Art Online - 12 8) Another - 13 9) Sankarea: Undying Love - 10 10) Blue Exorcist - 8 11) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Series, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya) - 14 12) Girls Und Panzer - 11 13) Rozen Maiden (Season 1, Season 2, OVAs) - 5 14) K-On (Season 1, Season 2, Movie) - 15 15) Watamote - 7 My watch list includes Attack On Titan; Btooom!; Date A Live; Guilty Crown; Kanon; Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions (Season 1, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions: Heart Throb); Rozen Maiden (Season 3); Spice & Wolf (Season 1, Season 2); Steins;Gate and Toradora.
  21. I like all of these as well, but do agree with the sentiment that Itchy and Scratchy were unnecessary. Their inclusion is understandable, but there are many characters I would have preferred: Skinner, Comic Book Guy, Otto and numerous other characters as well. Oh well, hopefully we get at least one more series to get more of these characters in the future.
  22. The Feeling - Blue Murder Clannad - Kotomi Theme
  23. Well I've been oddly busy today. First I went to the cinema to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier in what was my first trip to the cinema in 2014. I have to say, this has probably been the best Marvel film of the lot so far. It was absolutely excellent, And once again the end-credits scene really excites me with what implications it has. Afterwards I finally watched Frozen. I'd heard it was excellent for a while now, so I finally decided to give it a look on my laptop. I was very impressed with it despite my initial reservations (the same could be said for when I initially watched Tangled when I think back on it). The songs were great and always felt appropriate, though Let It Go was the obvious highlight of the song list. To sum up, in one day I've watched two excellent films. Next up will be The Amazing Spider-Man 2 when that comes out.
  24. Passenger - Heart's On Fire (ft. Ed Sheeran) This is to soon be released as the lead single of Passenger's new album, likely with more instruments than just acoustic.
  25. Knowing LEGO and their history with movie sets, they probably saw some concept art of Drax being grey (if any exists) and so assumed he would be grey in the movie as well. If not, it was probably just some unfortunate colouring error. Not that I personally mind it too much; after all, these sets are nowhere near as bad as the Iron Man 3 or Man of Steel sets.
