  1. A list of places I buy my LEGO sets from: Toys "R" Us Kmart Target ShopKo
  2. It's great that you are arranging this raffle for us AFOLs and TFOLs for the holiday season. The prize selection is great so far. I am looking forward to winning a prize myself. I check back often. My avatar has been unchanged since day one, considering that it is the right size. Merry Christmahannukwanzaakah!
  3. Maybe not today... Maybe not tomorrow... But maybe one of these days I'll win. Because I'm ready!
  4. Mine would be Jimmy Neutron, Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, Back to the Future, Justice League
  5. I commence closure of this topic at once.
  6. Captain Redbeard
  7. ShopKo, a discount store based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, had a sale on LEGO building sets on Black Friday. All LEGO building sets 10% off. ShopKo stores are found in these states: * Redding, California * Iowa * Idaho * Illinois * Upper Michigan * Minnesota * Montana * Nebraska * Oregon * South Dakota * Utah * Washington * Wisconsin ShopKo - official website
  8. I voted OUTSTANDING. What a great set. I got that set for my birthday in 1997. For me, it was a great set while it lasted (I lost all the pieces later on in life unfortunately), I do remember the hut with bridge, jeep, plane and fan boat. As I look back on this set, I'm like, "Wow, wouldn't it be cool if LEGO made more sets like this for a Bayou theme?" The amphibious aircraft with secret compartments is the icing on the cake in this set, in my opinion.
  9. Nope.
  10. I hope the exclusive has something to do with SpongeBob SquarePants' 10th anniversary on May 1st, 2009 next year (yes, he first aired on Nickelodeon that year with the pilot episode, "Help Wanted," on May 1st, 1999, the rest of the first season aired, starting on July 17th that same year.). That would be great to see. I personally believe that they should make two new Sandy minifigures, but this time, they should make a cloth tail (in the style of a cape) to attach between Sandy's head and torso. They should try and make her treedome (or at least the tree inside of it) into an actual building set. They should also try and make a couple trans-blue and trans-green colored bakers' hat pieces for a Jellyfish Fields set, as well as make use of a green version of the island baseplate from a new Pirates set to give Jellyfish Fields a more realistic look. At least the new sets will make for a nice parts pack. What also worries me is the fact that purple is being used very rarely these days, if not at all. I would've loved to see purple BURPS that resemble the reefs on the show. I hope LEGO brings back purple in the future if this is the case.
  11. I'm Ready!
  12. I saw that piece on Lego's Digital Designer program.
  13. Count Me In!!!
  14. There are three themes I'm looking forward to next year: LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants LEGO Pirates LEGO City
  15. That's a really cool set! I like the island baseplate and the scurvy-ridden pirate castaway that comes with it. I also like the 'brig' with the treasure chest full of 'booty' as well as the telescope. I'll be looking forward to buying this set at my local Toys "R" Us.
  16. An updated version of the Space Shuttle and launch pad that is scaled similarly to the large CITY airplanes.
  17. Here's a LEGO Club Magazine preview:

    City '09?

The problem with designing a printed MP3 player or cell phone is the size of the piece it's printed. Maybe they should've made it a CD boombox to make it more modern, as well as make printed 1X1 compact disc tile bricks to go with it.
  19. Yeah, they modified them. Notice the smokestack on SpongeBob's pineapple, as well as the leaves on top. I hope they release more pics soon. I sense another January release date is upon us, with more sets coming in August 2009, like this year's sets.
  20. We'd usually expect something good out of the redesigns. That's why I like them. This is no exception.
  21. It's been harder and harder to find purple Lego bricks these days. It seems that puurple has become a low profile color, having been used in Lego Batman on the Joker and Penguin, as well as in the Lego SpongeBob SquarePants set 3832: The Emergency Room for the head of the doctor fish. I hope to goodness that someday, they'll improve the next batch of purple, so it doesn't remain a memory. Righ now, Lego is using purple as an accent color.
  22. I hope SpongeBob's pineapple has a better interior.
  23. Start a petition, do something to save purple! Purple should be a very important color! I hate it when news like this breaks. It's a travesty to the AFOL community as a whole! SAVE THE PURPLE LEGO BRICKS!
