This is excellent Isaac! The stained glass is excellent, the smooth texturing is lovely, but that bear paw totally steals the show for me! Really beautiful work!

Age of Mitgardia - Farm Phase 2 - Up Sheep Creek
mpoh98 replied to mccoyed's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice work! I like those trees, and the riverbank is nice! The landscaping is excellent, and the foliage/greenery looks fantastic! That rickety bridge is great as well. And those brickbuilt sheep are fantastic, looks familiar. ;) I love using that technique for goats and sheep as well. I agree with Isaac, those small little details would add a lot to this already fantastic build!- 14 replies

Amazing work Isaac, the rockwork really takes the cake! I love how you still detail the sides of the creation with the logs, it really makes it look realistic and nice. :) The NPU of using the ice-skates is topnotch! Great landscaping work as well!

Book II Challenge III Cat B. - Unobserved Infiltration
mpoh98 replied to mpoh98's topic in Guilds of Historica
Ah gotcha. :) Haha thanks! :) They are actually not super hard, tons of fun though. There is no set way to do it, just build the bottom layer that are actually connected, lean the creation back slightly, and let the fun begin! Thanks! :) Glad you like it! I agree! :D -

[Simple Satisfaction] Ch.III Men Cat. C
mpoh98 replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Guilds of Historica
Fantastic creation, the window design is fantastic! lovely texturing on the landscape, and the stone chimney is well built. I agree that the smoke needs to be a different color, and maybe an interior, that would help greatly as well. Otherwise wonderful entry! -
Book 2 Challenge 3 Cat B: Misleading Directions
mpoh98 replied to LordDan's topic in Guilds of Historica
Haha awesome! A very entertaining story, love the crack in the ground. The dwarf also has some sweet weapons, I wish you found a way to include those in the build :) -
This is just lovely de Gothia, I love how simple the castle is. A lot of people these days like to revert to the "worn down" look, but yours looks so clean and crisp, beautiful. :) The curved wall is fantastic, I would love to see how you made the bricks stay bent, but still have sections in them. The feast hall is also excellent, lovely colors, the sand green works really well! So many wonderful details to take in, a really beautiful job de Gothia! :D

Book II Ch III Cat B: Infiltrating through the Necropolis
mpoh98 replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is really lovely Gideon, the sand green highlights throughout the build are spot on! The colors really work well together, I look forward to seeing more people use those color combos in future builds :) The lighting is excellent, I think it makes the build look crystal clear and beautiful, but not so glossy and clear that it looks like a render. Once again, great job!- 26 replies

Absolutely breathtaking build! The rockwork is topnotch! The trees are excellent as well, overall a fantastic scene! The falling rocks are well achieved, great job! Lovely story as well! One question, isn't this longer than 32 studs? Or are you allowed to make the build any size and shape you want as long as you stay within the same stud count as 32x32?

Book II Challenge III Cat. A - Dwarven Obelisk
mpoh98 replied to Yzalirk's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very interesting and unique story, I love how the build draws your eyes to the obelisk. I love how the dwarves are standing in a slight semi-circle, as if they are respecting the statue. The lighting in the scene is excellent as well, well done!
