  1. Continue like that and you'll be painfully reminded who he is >:-)
  2. I've asked them and am awaiting an answer...
  3. Welcome, but don't forget, I can treat you like vermin now >:-)
  4. Yoda frontpaged it, TT took it down by request of TLC, it's on LUGNET, it's on 1000steine, it's on brickshelf, it's on maj.com, it's still on LEGO's own server and where not, so here it is in all its beauty: Thanks again to tnickolaus who brought this to our attention first *y* Join the discussion here :-) EDIT By *yoda* Guys, I just added the pics ;-) So feast your eyes on the beauty 8-
  5. It wasn't clear this afternoon whether it was a mistake by an employee who put them on the server or not. Since it's up everywhere it's quasi-official, I guess, and I'm putting them back up (hear me, TLC?)...
  6. Thank you, SW4J, that was nicely put :-)
  7. It's a street corner, with a cafe, a hotel (above the cafe, not that rare), a shop and everthing that comes with it. A street scene.
  8. That's their "problem", the pics are already on brickshelf anyway... What harm? To who? Let it go, will you?
  9. He mentioned he's an IT guy a while back. By the way, domain transfer should only take hours. If the former owner hasn't reregistered piratebricks.com by now I don't think he will in the last minute and there's no reason to pay a higher price just to be a few hours "ahead". Once you paid it's your's anyway, whether the transfer has started yet or not...
  10. That's called "displaying" ;-)
  11. I feared that... :-/
  12. Thanks, but it's being discussed here and here already ;-)
  13. That's Steve Witt, Jake McKee's successor and our community liaison...
  14. Because it's the truth, and nothing but the truth :-P That is a truly magnificent set from the looks of it. And 2056 pieces does sound like a decent build with lots of details not just a "false front". I'm still catching my breath... :'-)
  15. I bought this on my last BA flight:
  16. I added you. Welcome to the event ;-) While we're at it: Is there anybody else who doesn't want to stay in a room with 2 or 3 people (meaning, 3 or 4 people altogether)? So far I have: * Double room for the Hobbes family (2 nights, EUR 53 per night) * Double room for Holodoc & son (3 nights, EUR 50 per night) * Double room for kimt & morten (2 nights, EUR 53 per night) Just so you know, that's all the double rooms they have, there's only bigger rooms left (for up to 4 people). It's not mandatory for 4 people to take it but it's cheaper per person, of course. They have 2 categories for the bigger rooms: So called family rooms, they are 75 Euro per night for 2 nights and 70 Euro per night for 3+ nights. So called Apartments, almost twice as big as the family rooms. They are 60 Euro per night for 2 nights, 55 Euro for 3 nights, and 50 Euro for 4+ nights. They don't include breakfast, though, that's 6 Euro extra per person per day! copmike & ras: If you two don't mind having 2 more people for 2 nights in your room you could save on your overall price. Would that be ok? I'd like to book soon, please let me know as soon as possible which rooms (family or apartments) and for how many people - or I'm gonna make the arrangements who stays with who >:-)
  17. Your standard construction helmet: Black version available in these sets.
  18. I won a 6379 MIB on ebay today :-)
  19. If the "manage poll" link is available it's as easy as clicking on it ;-) Someone with moderating privileges on the entire board. Basically what the Global Mods are.
  20. Supermods and Admins can, and only as long as the poll wasn't deleted in the first post. That option is available once a poll has been created. If you delete the poll it's in irreversible. If you want to add a poll in an existing thread and the "Click here to manage this topic's poll" link isn't available there's a workaround: Create a new topic with a poll. Then merge the other topic where you couldn't create a poll into that topic. The poll will stay and the posts from the other thread will be first in order.
  21. I got an answer from the B&B. Rooms are available. We won't get a discount, though, because they calculated their prices with a slim margin already (they said ;-)). I still think they're fair. Prices range from 55 to 75 as far as I remember. That's per room. Depending on how many people are in your room you can calculate your price for the weekend (minimum 2 people, maximum 4 people). @rexcal & KhoRne: please decide as soon as possible. We need to know how many we are to choose the rooms. There are no 5-people apartments available anymore, so we have to go with double rooms and 3-4 people in a room. For the Hobbes family and the Holodoc family I'll book a double room each. That leaves 8-10 people depending on KhoRne and rexcal. Again you two, a decision please ;-) copmike & Ras, you're the first to arrive. It would be possible that you two stay in a 4-people room with two people joining you for 2 nights (FR-SU). That OK for you? Or do you want a double room, too? Payment is to be made at checkout, cash or debit card (no CC!). So please see that you have enough Euros with you! You can start discussing who's gonna stay with who... ;-)
