  1. Cos you chose them. I've always wondered about your choice of o-o, too, but I thought it was because you say "o-o-seven"... Nope, it's an "o".
  2. That's perfectly ok: Your login name is zero-zero-seven, your display name is o-o-seven. You can't log in with your display name but you can search for it.
  3. Funny I missed this topic. It's my nickname my wife's given me some time ago X-D
  4. Classic Castle. Yes, Mr. Norro, you read that right, if there were Classic Castle like "in the good ol' days" I'd get me some - tigers honor!
  5. Is the Boba minifig really that rare?
  6. Yes, they were...
  7. That is excellent! As simonwellems said, the color scheme is perfect. Looks like an official set, and I'd buy it *y* Nah, it only shows that without City or Town the other themes wouldn't be that good :-P ;-)
  8. Happy birthday, UP! Hope you get lots of lube oil for many future... transformations :-P ;-)
  9. I'm mostly a minifig size T&T guy, but I've always liked Technic ideas and contraptions. I like "functional things", even if they're useless in some cases. It's just the possibility to make it with LEGO. This one isn't exactly minifig size, either, but I like it nonetheless. Because the idea is actually so simple, but you have to "see" it first. Ingenious *y* Thanks for sharing, looking forward to seeing more :-)
  10. :-D :-D Welcome to EB, ltr. Always nice to see another T&T member. Hope to see more from your WIPs ;-)
  11. We pay at check-out. Cash or debit, no credit card, so make sure you have enough of those colorful Euros with you ;-)

    airplane

That's really nice. I wouldn't know about other space-effective ways because I wouldn't even have come up with this one. With a bigger plane this would work quite well, I think, because there'd be more room for minifigs. Space has always been a problem with old-style planes (pun intended ;-)).
  13. Well, I can live with endangered, at least I'm not extinct or in ruins like castles :-P X-D
  14. I don't think you got America's last BNSF but most likely S@H US' last set. There's different market strategies. Either S@H US had less sets or it sold better. No one really knows. They were also sold at Toys'R'Us IIRC and at LEGO brand stores. Maybe you have one of those near you or you know someone who could help you out find another one (if that's what you want?). You're right, though, it's a very nice model *y*
  15. There's thousands of pictures on brickshelf that should give you a view ideas. Look in the Train or Town sections or search for "layout". There's also some topics about what EB members did with their town, check the Town index.
  16. * * * U p d a t e * * * Alright, I've booked the following: Room #4 Hobbes family 2 nights, April 27-29, EUR 53 per night Room #10 Holodoc + son 3 nights, April 27-30, EUR 50 per night App# 3 copmike + Ras 74 + 2 people 5 nights, April 25-30, EUR 50 per night 2 people will join you for two nights at EUR 60 per night (kimt + morten, is that more or less fix now?) breakfast is EUR 6 per person per day Whether they will charge EUR 50 or EUR 60 for the extra people I don't know since the apartment is booked for 5 nights. There's a chance the two extra people will pay 50 per night, too. We'll have to ask when we're there. App# 2 4 people 2 nights, April 27-29, EUR 60 per night breakfast is EUR 6 per person per day If kimt and morten stay with copmike and Ras then this leaves yoda, sne, TT and rexcal for this room. Room #9 jipay + mysterious guest 2 nights, April 27-29, EUR 53 per night Remember the room numbers when you check in, they're reserved for "Eurobricks"! Well, it looks like accomodation is settled. The address of the B&B is: G
  17. Good for you. Good for him.
  18. No, it's not. We've said that umpteen times all over the board. And if there's no drama in it he won't change it... I have. Still, he's a notorious non-reader, the more people say he should resize the bigger the chance he'll actually do it. And his pics weren't just big, they were huge. And blurry. That's like double the size. ... my eyes still hurt... *wacko*
  19. Jesus f.... Christ?! What the...?! 8-
  20. Why should a set be too small to review? If you just post one pic and say "This is the street sweeper" then it's kinda boring. But if you can tell what you like about it and have two or three pics from different angles or close ups then every set is good for a review. Just make sure your pics are clear, blurry pics are annoying.
  21. It's good to see that you can make more than one model at a time. From the pics from BJ7 there's a few models I like. My absolute favorite locomotives are these two: That GP-something or SD-something really looks like a heavy cargo engine. And the electric locomotive reminds me of the locomotives I grew up with. I hope there's a way to build both with one set or I'll try to use bricks of my own stash. Also nice are: From the waggons I like Ben Beneke's model the most: Also nice are: The last one's particularly "cute" for a small cargo train. All the smaller sets to me have that 1980s feeling which I like. Those are the models I'll try when I get the set eventually. 9 models, about a third of what's advertised. Not that bad I think...
  22. As I said, that was a new account (first he was evilandy0, yesterday he was evilandyO), and only minutes before that account got banned. He registered during our night time and thus could post before we saw him. But since this is not the topic here I won't go into it any further.
  23. I didn't! ;-) Because what you showed in the new pics is exactly what I thought you would do. Looks great *y*
  24. Interesting link, thx.
  25. I will, once you've addes pics. No set is too small for a review ;-) But pics indeed would be nice...
