I'm thinking reddish brown, too ;-) This pic is kinda worrisome: On my screen it looks like two different shades of brown :-/

There are brown stairs like that on bricklink but maybe this one's reddish brown, can't really tell from the pics. I like the possibilities the modular system allows. I've had this idea since I first saw the old Main Street set but I never thought they would come up with it, let alone with something nice like this. The more pics I see, the more I like it.

I grew up with old sets like that and didn't know any other doors back then. It always looked like a door to me. And bricklink says it's a door ;-)

Great set, great deal, congrats *y* The stickers on the 1x8 grey tiles on the back of the truck look kinda familiar. Are those the same as we've seen in this year's 7942 Off-road Fire Rescue?

I kinda like it. It's a bit bully-ish for my taste but overall it's not a bad model and goes well with other creator cars. And I agree with Asuka, it does look strangely familiar... 8-| The convertible looks interesting, too. That could look good next to last years black convertible. In the first pic it says $29 on the tag above it if I read that correctly. Add a little for Europe, but it's not that a bad price tag, I think. It's not a must buy for me but I think I'll eventually get it, maybe on a sale...

Nope, those are actually very old doors, before minifigs existed. I've seen them being used as windows before. I have some of them somewhere in my piles...
