  1. You're killing me Lego. Probably 200€ for arm-printing on Boba, a Bespin Guard, and higher level of detail compared to the 2010 version... I'll have to meditate about this.
  2. I was wondering why Cap Cold can just generate Cold from his bare Hands now, so I did some research on New 52 Captain Cold. So apparently some evil Genius fused the Freeze Guns to his Genome? Are those guns still made from Ice-Cream-Truck-Parts like pre New 52? Boy, what a mess. I understand that Lego is suposed to use the current designs for marketing reasons, but i can't help but think that the new 52 won't stick around for long. Luckily, most designs don't deviate to far from the "Core"-Design of old, but cases like removing Cold's Signature-Parka really seem like bad decisions. Still, the current Generation probably thinks completely different about this, and i'm not gonna kid myself, i'm gonna get that Set and Fig anyways
  3. Good thing he's wearing his brown pants!
  4. I don't know if this has been mentioned before, Amazon.de has a Special Edition of Lego Batman 3 that comes with Plastic Man. So no need to buy at gamestop! (Thank God *cough*)
  5. Invisible Gold then. Everything but Hip and Torso transclear would give a nice "Invisible with Costume"-Effect and still be viable i guess. These Guys are pretty close already, and adding some similar transclear armorpiece would enhance the effect even more:
  6. Oh God, my poor Wallet Could Invisible Gold Robbery sport the coveted all transclear minifig?
  7. Would you mind telling this to the weather in germany real quick? I think it didnt get the memo this year
  8. Thanks for the very nice review, i agree with the rating 100%. The Value for money is excellent, and Tremor instantly shot into my Top 10 Minifigs all Time. The punching Tank is hilarious, especially when used against a bunch of minifigs. And for some reason, i really like the chip safe too, the stickers add a lot to it i think. I got this set and Toxicita's Toxic Metdown on Day One, and i think i'll get the rest of the bunch too. Infearno Interception is up next, i'll wait for a nice discount on Hurricane and the HQ though.
  9. I'm hoping for the inclusion of a printed flat 1x2 Tile as a motherbox in the Darkseid-Set. That would be great.
  10. I'm really excited for pictures, 2015 is gonna be even more expensive than '14. I wih they would have gotten some more aquatic hero/villain-types into the Black Manta Set instead of Bats and Robin. Aquaman does have his own rogue gallery and family. Superpumped for Hawkman
  11. Wow. Master Sculpterer indeed. This looks so organic and the facial expression is really intense. Awesome. Please post more pictures from different angles if you find the time!
  12. Nice! You should consider adding some minifigs, i suggest a knight, an archer, a mage and priest
  13. My wife has been doing 1x1 mosaics and the results look really nice, definitely worth a try. The images in the blog though look indeed very much like pixelated originals with Lego-ish Studs embossed over them. So as the others said, VERY easy to do with freely available picture editing software. That guy got ripped apart rightfully, "Art by Geoffroy Amelot" is either a pretty cheeky exaggeration or simply pretentious.
  14. I own all three of them, i think you should go 1st Daily Bugle Showdown 2nd X-Men vs. the Sentinel 3rd Knowhere Escape Mission Daily Bugle and X-Men are pretty close, choose whichever you prefer, or optimally buy them all ;-)
  15. This one seems perfect for me: Minus the stud of course.
  16. Great job, i really like the Lego-y look and the wheels inside the wheels are genious
  17. I definitely prefer picture reviews, since they tend to be more detailed and focused on the interesting bits. Besides Eurobricks reviews (obviously), the ones made by the Brickset-crew are usually really good, and some of the bloggers like Gimme Lego are also definitely worth reading. As others said, the problem with video reviews is that they're mostly 360s of the model with no more information than "I really (don't) like this model because it's (not) cool)". The only video reviews i watch and actually consider 'reviews' are the ones by Jangbricks, but i also tend to watch the Brickshow videos, mostly for sentimental value because these guys got me back into Lego years ago. Edit: Forgot to mention: Artifex Creations on youtube has stop motion "builds" that give a really good feeling for a model (and no voice over).
  18. Yeah, Parademons maybe could use the armor and wingpieces from the orange Galaxy Squad Robo-Sidekick in yellow. ->
  19. These sound really promising. It would be perfect if these sets feature some B-List Justice Leaguers as well, like Booster Gold or something.
  20. Didn't really want it before, but i just got the last 9499 - Gungan Sub on Clearance in a local Toyshop for €44.99. So, yeah, i couldn't resist that Queen Amidala-minifig in the end.
  21. I think he means "Politically Correct", as some people could consider the depiction of asians / indigineous people in those sets offensive? I don't know if this was widely discussed back then, but browsing through the Theme i didn't find anything that popped into my eye in that sense.
  22. As much as I dislike that ridiculous Faceprinting on Luke's Head, the expressions are spot on for that conversation. Good Job
  23. According to Brickset I'm at 74770 pieces, so i guess the actual count is around the 90000 mark.
  24. Ok, thx, i guess i'll just keep them loaded and accept the inevitable. Wrinkled-Stickers-Style
  25. I recently put some of the new sets up for display that use the new "long" springloaded shooters. Do you keep them in / loaded? I'm afraid they're gonna wear out or break or something, but in some sets they are part of the aesthetics, so i'm conflicted.
