  1. I was very disappointed when I saw it. It isn't up to the level of quality as the two previous ones IMO
  2. They finally had the Shuttle Expedition on clearance at my local K-Mart today. Was dropped a further $20 to $109
  3. Lego are discontinuing it next year
  4. Mine went from having all 3 of the first 3 weeks out to just the Yellow one, so they have switched to the week by week routine.
  5. The promotion is moving along with the F1 races
  6. My local Coles Express has 3 of the sets out already
  7. OK, well I never saw them at my local Express, nor was there any mention of them
  8. What do we need to find out about the Pit Crew?
  9. They had them out already at one of my Coles Express stations here. Picked up 3 of the 30190 sets and 3 of the 30194 sets Looks like I will be going to Coles a bit
  10. Helm's Deep is rumoured to be going EOL in the spring, which is also why people are snapping them up
  11. Diagon Alley has gone to Out of Stock at target.com.au
  12. Guess who is visiting Coles on Monday... Actually, maybe tomorrow and Sunday as well, just in case :D
  13. 1. I think the reason why there was only 4 sets was due to the Hobbit sets also being released. There were 6 Hobbit sets released late last year but this year's releases are all screwed up due to Peter Jackson stretching the movies into a trilogy. There are currently 7 LOTR sets out, and you would think barring Helm's Deep (which I believe is about to be discontinued) that the rest will be around for a little while longer this year, giving us 16 "Middle Earth" sets. That isn't too shabby. Who knows if we will get another Hobbit wave this year or whether Lego will release another batch close to the release of the third movie. Plenty of LOTR to go round. 2. As for the Pirate ship, well ships sell well and it brings in a fan base not necessarily into LOTR. Plenty of ship enthusiasts are excited by it, and as mentioned, kids love them. 3. Yes the eagle is disappointing. With Lego keeping it this size though they can use it for other themes as it isn't too too big.
  14. Awesome. Thanks Lobot!
  15. It didn't last long!
  16. I can't recall ever seeing it at my local Target. The Lego aisle is rather puny. I might just ask though, you never know, they might have a stash out the back
  17. Just a matter of finding a store than has them in
  18. I wish they had the deal online :( Still, the price is nothing to sneeze at
  19. Harry Potter Diagon Alley 10217 back down to $179 at target.com.au
  20. I would also be wary about the possibility of incurring a customs and GST fee if you exceed the $1000 mark, especially if Lego are shipping you the sets from overseas.
  21. I ended up biting the bullet and picking up a couple of Shuttle Expeditions from K-Mart. Will see how it goes but at least I won't be kicking myself later. I wanted to score some 3182 Airport sets but someone had cleared them all out.
  22. Ahhh good point. Didn't think to check there!
  23. Something else I thought was interesting, there was not a single Friends set at all on the shelves. K-Mart had a few previously but there was absolutely none out.
