  1. I'd love a copy, but not at those prices
  2. It certainly does look alot better now with it being twice as large. Well done!
  3. With the ARF Trooper, I just don't like the design. My preference is more for colour variations in the clones, not designs. I've seen alot of people dislike the orange used, but I like it alot. I probably took it too far though getting so many clones I still have some rebels and stormies, would have to check them out. Could be anywhere between 40-60 of each I think, I will check it out over the next few days and take some pics.
  4. Well, my aim is to do a proper Geonosis scene at some stage, but I got the Horns and the Bomb Squad troopers solely because they were cheap. I simply don't have the space though yet to make a layout. Eventually I will redo the 10195 set in red, and add it to my 3RGS and 3 AT-TEs.
  5. You know, I was setting my clone army up, only for two issues to arrive 1) Find two of my base plates missing. No doubt hidden somewhere in one of my kids' rooms. Annoying 2) I actually had more clones than I thought I left my a handful of Horn Company, Bombers, my Clone Gunners out, another 50 odd plain clones, and the few 212th clones I have. Oh and I apologise the pics. I need to spend some time learning how to take better photos. All in good time!
  6. Yeah it certainly does, however, I just love the colour and printing on them, and they were cheap! Just constructing the remainder of the clones before I start taking photos
  7. Yep I picked them all up on Bricklink (I have no interest in the ARF Trooper) but the big problem is definitely arming them. I have a stash of blasters (as I sell off minifigs I no longer want I hold onto the weaponry) and was lucky enough to purchase a couple of 100 fig stormtroopers and rebels a few years back cheap that were armed. As I have slowly downgraded them I have held onto more blasters. But it won't be enough to fully accomodate my latest army, but that wil be rectified in the future.
  8. I will set things up properly tomorrow, but this is a sneak peek of my latest acquisitions....
  9. It looks great. My first thought was it would look brilliant with chrome, only to find others had made that same point. Well done!
  10. I only knew how long it has been due to getting parcel tracking when I paid for shipping and checking the updates. My Mindstorms set shipped 23 days ago, so maybe in the next few days or early next week. Really dreading seeing a smashed up box :(
  11. 4 weeks to the day for my first order to come in on the very basic level of shipping. My second (which is my Mindstorms set) I upgraded the shipping to the next level and still haven't seen it, though some posters here have said that there is no real difference in their times between the two. I had three orders arrive today B&N - States - 4 weeks after shipping Bricklink - States - 3 days to Australian customs, 8 further to me Bricklink - Korea - 3 days from shipping to my door, express
  12. That is the same for me. I have been looking at it, but doubt I will get it. It's a nice discount, but it doesn't scream purchase. Taj Mahal did, but I had a limited Lego budget then so I missed out. I don't think I will think of that when I see the Bridge on the after market.
  13. My first B&N order arrived today, 4 weeks after shipping. Box was a mess. a couple of sets crushed but thankfully they were the ones for me that I am busting open tonight anyway. I'm fearful for my Mindstorms set though, am really hoping it comes in pristine condition but won't hold my breath.
  14. Kmart's doesn't start until the 30th, this is a "preview". Myer has started there's already I believe, since you can get the discounted Tower Bridge set online.
  15. Was hoping K-Mart would drop the price of some of the Star Wars Lego. Pretty disappointing that the sale only shows the battle packs and the Imperial V Wing
  16. To be honest, I havent seen this. Where possible, I store the sets in there original boxes, but I have had a Death Star set for nearly 2 years and that box hasn't suffered any warping from being on its side. The annying thing for me is the seals not sticking over time on the older sets.
  17. One way or another, oen group of fans aren't going to be happy
  18. Thanks for the review. I own the original which I prefer, so this one most likely won't be on the shopping list. However, like most of this wave, the figures are excellent, Darth Maul being the exception. He looks too much like the Predator, with a squashed, crab like face. The horns wouldn't bother me, but that face is shocking.
  19. Their website says the Toy sale starts in 9 days, 5 hours
  20. It never got to $50 here, but I picked up a few from S@H when they slashed them. I remember seeing them when K-Mart first had them out at $149 and laughed. I still actually have a few in the cupboard, was hoping the price would jump like most other Lego sets when they were discontinued, but this set is simply a dog.
  21. I'm in shock. Fishpond shipped the $149 (delivered) 10197 Fire Brigade set, less than 2 weeks after ordering. They have marked the price back at $149, so I'm assuming they have more stock in too though you never know Here's hoping my sets get packaged well!
  22. Perhaps, though the UCS General Grievous set wasn't well received and was slashed to 50% off at S&H. They are less than $80 on Bricklink The Super Star Destroyer is now listed at S&H, but with no price listed.
  23. Maybe that means we can get them heavilly discounted later on in a clearance. I'm still happy I got the Shuttle at $270, but still...
