Ordered some Gungan soldiers from Bricklink. I have enough minifigs to have a decent bettle between the Gungans and droids, now just need the vehicles!

Thats about the state how one of my sets came. Still, they replaced it quickly, and are happy to replace, even if it means you have to send the set back (and they reimburse you for it) Making sure you have a good translating program for any complaints though would be a must

I bought this set only really because I wanted Ki-Adi. The Geonosian was going to be the first thing I hocked off on eBay, until I saw it and loved the detail on it. Yes, wings would be much better, and is certainly a flaw, but other than that I thought the set was fairly spot on. Bring on more Geonosians (though hopefully with wings!) Thanks for a great review!

If it the Imperial shuttle, amazon.fr isn't selling it, another seller is using it as a storefront (similar to ebay) It might be why you cannot get it shipped?

A minor Star Wars purchase in ordering Luke's Landspeeder. I threw it in with an order of big Technic sets. It seems to be a nifty little set, so I am looking forward to receiving it in a week

Brokers don't do tracking

It should update once it hits customs. However, once it leaves you usually don't get any updates until it rocks up on your doorstep!

Í think it says 15-21 days for slow shipping usually doesn't it? The sets are cheap enough, so I always go for the express shipping

I pulled my minifig collection out of the cupboard as I started doing some sorting with new additions, I took a couple of pics, I have more ewoks, gungans and snowtroopers coming, with more Scout Troopers to be ordered later. I have a Republic Frigate in transit,so no doubt will want more Wolfpack Clones once I see them. Some more Magnaguards and Geonosians would be cool too but they aren't a priority. I'm not too fussed on the Mandalorians, I only got them due to a deal I got on eBay. EDIT: I didn't include my bomb squad and horn trooper armies, but they are in the shoebox you can barely seen in one of the pics. I already posted pics of those previously anyway

We wouldn't be complaining if it were say a 20% markup, but we get rorted royally right now. I was told (though I am not sure how accurate it is) that the Death Star costs Lego about $170 US to make and ship. Obviously they can charge what they want, but it is a bit rich to see our prices all but doubled those in the States despite our dollar now being superior. S@H sell the Death Star now for $699, so that is a fair markup.

I'd always be concerned that they wouldn't, regardless of what they say.

Barnes and Noble

Well BN shipped my sets ordered 2 days ago, so I will keep ordering until it stops. That was with the new code too, on an account which I have already used a 30% discount twice previously

A guy sold 200 the other day at some cheap price. Smells very fishy, and I have a feeling people will get burned

Hmm, the three sets I ordered from BN have been delayed. I am assuming the worst, but we shall see

If it looks like a scam and smells like a scam...... No one would sell 200 Death Stars and list them at those prices.

Either way, we get slugged a hell of a lot more than other countries for alot of items. And with people becoming more savvy with the internet they are finding cheaper ways to get what they want. The prices we pay for alot of things is inexcusable really

That set isn't sold by Amazon.fr, it is sold by a seller using Amazon similar to people using eBay as a shopfront. If you go through the buying process, you don't get the fast ship option, you don't get the VAT removal and you get charged 90 euros freight.

Just had to order a handful of Snowtroopers from Bricklink, as my Hoth army was looking a little lame. Will have to add some more Hoth rebels in the near future.

It will be interesting. Tomorrow will be the ninth day, which Amazon usually outstrip. If only their US site would ship here
