There's a TV with the VCR. Sorry for not making that known.
-
In the backroom, there is an old VCR player. No pet food. Jack then takes some vitamins and force-feeds them to Jeremy. Marcus throws fish around, but he can't seem to find anything suspicious in the refrigerator or the fish counter.
-
Nice job to the winners. I'm a little disappointed that I wasn't invited to the dead-thread first...I died in the introduction of Day One.
-
It's okay, but don't do it again or else I'll have to kill your character off.
-
The tapes are on the checkout counter, how would you like to play them? As you walk in, the refrigerated items are directly in front. To the right are several crates of various produce. On another counter there's some fresh caught fish on ice. Ashley flips off Agent Stone. "No, I was at home." There's nothing in the newspaper about the crime. "Now I remember, I was at home the entire night of the murder. However, I didn't see anything."
-
Settle down there, Holmes, you're not even there yet. The group arrives at the grocery store to see Special Agent Stone leaving. Dark clouds hang over Lexington; it is going to rain soon. "I've watched the tapes, and I've managed to become much closer to finding out the culprits." He walked past the parted crowd. "Shouldn't you have asked first before you barged in and stole my tapes?" Ashley asks. "My dear, I intend on solving this case. This is amateur hour with you bumbling idiots. I've left the tapes for you, don't worry." He hops into his car. "That goes for all of you. Stay out of my way and we won't have a problem." he says, as he drives off. You are now at the Grocery Store and the Jackson-Baker Residence.
-
You'll have to find out. "You can't just wander off from the group like that." The group decides to head to The Grocery Store, as well as the apartment above it. They head off.
-
The Fire Department has one as well as Ashley's Grocery Store.
-
Since it is in the center of the town, most of the buildings are near it. Primarily, Ashley's Grocery Store, The Montgomery Pet Store and Officer Hutch's apartment over it, the Robertson Residence, the Police Station, and the Fire Department.

CHAPTER FOUR - THREE'S A CROWD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's late at night in Lexington. Various sounds reverberate throughout the town, ranging from the crickets to loud music. People are out late tonight, performing various actions and deeds. One such figure is watching Deputy Chief Scott's house. "I'll catch her doing any wrongdoing!" the figure says. Someone else joins the first inky form. "Oh, this is awkward." the second figure says. "What's with the helmet?" the first one asks. Before the figure can answer, a third shadowy shape approaches. "Three's a crowd, guys." it says. "Honestly, I wasn't expecting this." one of them comments. The three figures leave then, not wanting to be identified by their fellow watchers. The next morning, Winston has once again woken up early and dressed. The Jordan's, on a morning stroll, see him exit his townhouse. "Good morning, Winston!" they say in near unison, smiling. "Good morning! Lovely day, isn't it?" A few of the others start to show up. Jeremy is returning from his morning swim in the ocean. Officer Hutch has brought his dog with him. Amber has gone outside to see what all the commotion is. "What's up, dudes?" Jeremy asks. Slowly but surely, the rest of the inexperienced investigators arrive. However, they simply wait around for leadership to come their way. "Good Morning." The GovernorCongressmanMayor said. "I've enlisted some help from an outside source." The roar of a loud engine is heard, as a bright red sports car zooms down the street, and stops on the sidewalk, causing the townspeople to jump out of the way. A man steps out. "Greetings." the man says. "My name is Special Agent Stone. You may refer to me as Special Agent Stone." "OK." the townspeople reply. The eager FBI Agent immediately jumps into some questions. "Have you investigated the buildings nearby for evidence?" "Have you checked to see if there's any video cameras?" "Have you figured out who phoned in the death?" There is silence. "What have you been doing for the past three days?!" he asks incredulously. The townspeople shuffle nervously a bit, before one of them works up the courage to speak. "We were at the police station for three days." someone says. "And we trashed a house yesterday." He gives them all a glare, before returning to his vehicle. "I'll be doing some investigating of my own." he says. "Good luck." With that, he drives off. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Players (14) Mr. Jack Montgomery --- Mrlegoninja Mrs. Julia Montgomery --- Dannylonglegs Jeremy Montgomery --- ADHO15 Mr. Alex Jordan --- Cralegoboy Mrs. Sarah Jordan --- Brickdoctor Mr. Winston Robertson --- Rumble Strike Amber Robertson --- Peanuts Officer Steven Jackson --- Professor Flitwick Ashley Baker --- K-nut Marcus Baker --- CallMePieOrDie Officer Ryan Hutch --- badboytje88 Mr. James Swanson --- CorneliusMurdock Robbie Swanson --- Jedi master Brick Deputy Chief Jackie Scott --- Fugazi Deceased: Police Chief Arnold McGovern --- def Rules: (Borrowed partly from Dragonator’s Mystery Manor and Red Scare Mystery) 1. There are 16 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. I will always give a detailed explanation of a room, however, feel free to ask for clarification. 3. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 4. Please try to avoid editing your posts. If you made a spelling error, simply post immediately after correcting your spelling error. If you wish to add more, a double post can be made, however use this rule wisely. Obviously, you may not make a quadruple post. Please wait for someone else to post before you post something else, unless absolutely necessary. 5. You can reference anything in pop culture, as this is being played real time. You can mention current events if you want to. You can use any electronic device that you wish to use, with exception. For example, you can’t take out your time machine to determine who the killers are. 6. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. However, you may not return to a room that you were already in, so ensure that you have searched every part of the room before leaving. 7. There are a few NPC’s in certain areas of the town. These NPC’s might have evidence, however they might not. Also, the evidence given by them might be false information. You cannot do anything other than talk to these NPC’s. You can only go and speak to them when you arrive in their area. For example, each NPC is in a certain part of the town. If you’re at point A, you cannot go and speak to an NPC at point B. 8. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 9. There are no night actions or chapter actions. However, there are Miscellaneous Actions. With this system, if you’d like to PM me a non-lethal action (I.E; “I’d like to go visit Player A”), then that’s fine. However, things that could harm people (I.E; “I’d like to go kill Player A”) are not allowed. These are only allowed at night. Night comes at the end of every chapter. I’ll allow most anything, so let your imaginations go wild. However, you can’t leave Lexington. That is not a valid action. 10. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. 11. There will be a life-point system. Every player starts out with ten life-points, and regenerates one life point at the end of a chapter. For example, if you fall and twist your ankle, you’d likely lose one life point. If you fall off a boat into an engine prop, you’re likely to lose most if not all of your life points. Think logically. Perhaps walking along the rickety boards in the construction zone is not a good idea. 12. The host is usually always right. If you think he’s wrong, feel free to send me a message about it. 13. Most of all have fun. This game is meant to be enjoyable despite the "questionable" things occurring. Rules may be added or deleted as the game goes on based on game play. Marcus Baker (CallMePie) now has 7 life points.

Correct, there's nothing in the clothes. "Yes, I do." Everything about the tree appears to be normal and in order. There are no crops, but I'll assume you mean the field. There's nothing out of place in the field. The pants she has on now? Good luck with that one. Jack flips over the box, but there's nothing underneath. The sun once again begins to set over Lexington as the townspeople return home. In his office, Mayor Bob sits and converses on the phone. "...and they're doing a rather poor job I think, that's why we could use your help." A pause, as the other end of the line talks back. "I look forward to seeing you tomorrow then. It's good you can come out and help us, since I'm no apparent help." The Mayor says goodbye, and then hangs up. It will be a long night tonight. Chapter Three is now over. This topic can now be locked.

No, there's only a few rows of dead crops that are slowly becoming unrecognizable. There's also a rather large apple tree being maintained and well fed. Officer Scott has only a few pairs of pants, a few shirts, and other clothing articles. Jeremy looks under the bed, then rips the pillow apart and looks there too, but there's nothing incriminating in either spot. There's also nothing at the bottom of Horace's bucket. It's a table, not a desk. This chapter will be ending soon. If you'd like to get your actions in early, that would be appreciated.

The books are several mystery novels. There's nothing odd hidden inside them. The uniform pockets are empty as well, it would appear that the uniform hasn't been touched in awhile. It's a piece of dirt; Deputy Chief Scott must be a bad housekeeper.
-
Just regular flowers. There's no mounds in the dirt. There's nothing odd in the stable. A long time. Sarah opens the cabinet; there's a few books in there, but not much else. There's also Deputy Chief Scott's formal police uniform. The paper is blank, there's nothing under the rug. No, you've never seen the Chief visit late. Scott also isn't home often.
-
There's nothing odd or out of place in the garden. The stable is a simple wood structure with a bucket out front with a carrot in it. "Neigh." Horace the Horse says Deputy Chief Scott pours herself some water. Ashley watches Scott drink, then has some as well. The bathroom has a small shower in it, with a sink and toilet as well. Nothing appears to be out of place. The mailbox is empty; the mailman hasn't been around yet.
-
Officer Scott's home is a one floor, one room home. It's quite modest. There's a dying farm out back, since Officer Scott's father was a farmer, as well as a flower bed that Officer Scott maintains. Also on the property is a stable and a separate bathroom. Officer Scott lives surrounded by the Swanson family. On one side is James Swanson's home and the other side is Robbie Swanson's cabin he's renovating and building. "It's not much, since I don't spend much time here, but you're welcome to go through it. I've nothing to hide." You are now at Officer Scott's Property
-
The group begins the walk to Deputy Chief Scott's house.
-
Less than twenty-four hours, but since this is hindering the process of actual investigating, the day will be extended until I see fit.
-
It's a small podium without drawers and with a small computer on it. There aren't any secret compartments. Officer Jackson puts the computer back, you could arrest him if you'd like. Robbie runs off.
-
The folders on Hutch's desk are filled with trivial information about prior cases. Nothing relates to the current events. Robbie steals a computer. Nothing really looks out of place; the contents are mostly the same as the other desks in the squad room. Officer Jackson's desk is very lightly adorned with items, only a few pens and pencils, some blank paper, and a desk lamp. He also has a picture of Ashley. No, only those three. It's the first floor of the police station. There's the entry desk, where Officer Patterson sits, the squad room, a filing cabinet, and a water cooler.
-
There's no other evidence pointing to how far back her relationship went to. Also, there's no indication she knew of the lawsuit. Officer Hutch's desk is sparsely decorated, with only a desk lamp, a few stationary items, some file folders, and several pads of unwritten tickets. There's no drawers on his desk, nor are there drawers on Officer Jackson's desk.
-
Once again rather than going somewhere useful, the townspeople arrive at the police station.
-
Have you reached a consensus?
-
It's for a restaurant in San Francisco. It's a bit classy, but not very romantic. There is no number on the receipt and I'd doubt anyone at the restaurant would remember them, as the receipt is dated four months ago.
-
Officer Jackson reaches into the trash can, and pulls out the documents. Letter One: Letter Two: The third paper thrown away was a receipt to a restaurant.
