CHAPTER SEVEN - BORING! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was morning. The intrepid investigators gathered outside the town hall, as they had been previously instructed to do so. "What a boring night!" James says. "I agree. After these last few nights I was expecting huge bombs." Deputy Chief Scott says. "Look who I've found!" a voice calls. "You're back!" everyone says in near unison. "Yes. We're just a little sore." Officer Jackson says. "Now, I've got your win conditions. The townspeople must answer the following questions: 1) Who or whom killed Chief McGovern? 2) Why was the Chief killed? 3) How did he die? 4) When was he killed? "You may submit your answers at anytime from now until the end of Chapter Ten. However, if you guess wrong, you will lose. Bad things happen if you lose. " ~~~ Alex Jordan (cralegoboy) has 0 life points, and is dead. Ashley Baker (K-nut) now has 3 life points. Officer Steven Jackson (ProfessorFlitwick) now has 3 life points. Marcus Baker (CallMePie) now has 8 life points. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Players (14) Mr. Jack Montgomery --- Mrlegoninja Mrs. Julia Montgomery --- Dannylonglegs Jeremy Montgomery --- ADHO15 Mrs. Sarah Jordan --- Brickdoctor Mr. Winston Robertson --- Rumble Strike Amber Robertson --- Peanuts Officer Steven Jackson --- Professor Flitwick Ashley Baker --- K-nut Marcus Baker --- CallMePieOrDie Officer Ryan Hutch --- badboytje88 Mr. James Swanson --- CorneliusMurdock Robbie Swanson --- Jedi master Brick Deputy Chief Jackie Scott --- Fugazi Deceased: Police Chief Arnold McGovern --- def Mr. Alex Jordan --- Cralegoboy Rules: (Borrowed partly from Dragonator’s Mystery Manor and Red Scare Mystery) 1. There are 16 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. I will always give a detailed explanation of a room, however, feel free to ask for clarification. 3. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 4. Please try to avoid editing your posts. If you made a spelling error, simply post immediately after correcting your spelling error. If you wish to add more, a double post can be made, however use this rule wisely. Obviously, you may not make a quadruple post. Please wait for someone else to post before you post something else, unless absolutely necessary. 5. You can reference anything in pop culture, as this is being played real time. You can mention current events if you want to. You can use any electronic device that you wish to use, with exception. For example, you can’t take out your time machine to determine who the killers are. 6. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. However, you may not return to a room that you were already in, so ensure that you have searched every part of the room before leaving. 7. There are a few NPC’s in certain areas of the town. These NPC’s might have evidence, however they might not. Also, the evidence given by them might be false information. You cannot do anything other than talk to these NPC’s. You can only go and speak to them when you arrive in their area. For example, each NPC is in a certain part of the town. If you’re at point A, you cannot go and speak to an NPC at point B. 8. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 9. There are no night actions or chapter actions. However, there are Miscellaneous Actions. With this system, if you’d like to PM me a non-lethal action (I.E; “I’d like to go visit Player A”), then that’s fine. However, things that could harm people (I.E; “I’d like to go kill Player A”) are not allowed. These are only allowed at night. Night comes at the end of every chapter. I’ll allow most anything, so let your imaginations go wild. However, you can’t leave Lexington. That is not a valid action. 10. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. 11. There will be a life-point system. Every player starts out with ten life-points, and regenerates one life point at the end of a chapter. For example, if you fall and twist your ankle, you’d likely lose one life point. If you fall off a boat into an engine prop, you’re likely to lose most if not all of your life points. Think logically. Perhaps walking along the rickety boards in the construction zone is not a good idea. 12. The host is usually always right. If you think he’s wrong, feel free to send me a message about it. 13. Most of all have fun. This game is meant to be enjoyable despite the "questionable" things occurring. Rules may be added or deleted as the game goes on based on game play. Alex Jordan (cralegoboy) has 0 life points, and is dead. Ashley Baker (K-nut) now has 3 life points. Officer Steven Jackson (ProfessorFlitwick) now has 3 life points. Marcus Baker (CallMePie) now has 8 life points.

I've been taking a break from Mafia's, but I'll sign up regardless. Can anybody guess what day of the week it is? - Your availability during the coming few weeks I am available. - Your previous Mafia game history See my profile. - Your existing interest in the Batman universe I've seen some of the movies...I wouldn't say I'm an expert though.
-
No, you don't have too.
-
Chapter Seven will bring the win conditions forward for the investigators. Still looking for actions.

It's mostly all over the counter medication. Jeremy was skateboarding around in the dark, it was rather hard to see. "It looks pretty light out to me." Jeremy says. I said it's dark outside! "Oh, sorry." There's a figure. "That was odd. It looked like someone was there, but now there isn't someone there." SUDDENLY! "Hello young man! I think you need a haircut!" "Ahhhhh! I work hard to get my hair like this every morning!" Jeremy screams. "Come here! Hahahah!" "Aiiieee!" "Son?" Jack Montgomery asks. "You were screaming." "Oh, sorry. I had a bad dream. I must have dozed off." "Here, I got you a new basketball after I cut up your old one." "Sick dude!" "Hello! I baked a pie!" Julia says. "Oh, honey, I could never stay mad at you. I love you." Jack says. "I love you too, Jack!" "I love you guys!" Jeremy says. "Come on, let's go have some dinner." The reconciled family heads back inside for dinner. Someone is watching them. Someone was sad and alone. ~~~ A few doors down, James was hosting an aerobics class that Amber was also attending. "Are you wearing a bikini?" Amber asks. "Yes. It's quite comfortable." ~~~ Elsewhere, Winston is returning home from the investigations. "I'm very tired. I think I'll go shop online for some more artifacts!" ~~~ Elsewhere elsewhere, Agent Stone and the FBI Agent are talking. "I can't believe we didn't do anything today." Agent Stone says. "You're the one that wanted to visit the carnival to ride the Ferris Wheel." the agent says. "I've been afraid of Ferris Wheel's ever since my best friend was decapitated on one years ago. I got over my fears today." "I'm proud of you sir. But what about this case?" "Um...excuse me?" A voice asks. "Will you be ordering something?" ~~~ Elsewhere elsewhere elsewhere, The Mayor is talking with Doctor Barker. "Officer Jackson and Ms. Baker should be returning tomorrow thanks to the advanced medical breakthroughs we have." "Why are you sitting on the steps?" Mayor Bob asks. "They're very dirty." "Don't you even care about them?" Barker asks. "Of course, but what do you want me to say? Why are you even here? Are you the only doctor in this part of California?" "No. There's obviously others. I just felt like coming here to tell you personally." "Oh, I'm surprised you care this much." "I don't; I got the short straw." And with that, the sun sets. End Chapter Six!

Inside the drawers is some medicine bottles, combs, toothbrushes, hair styling products, soaps, shampoos, There's nothing in there. There's nothing odd there. There's nothing under the bathmat. The day is almost over.
-
We're moving on. Welcome to the bathroom, there is no picture. It's a simple bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. There's also a set of drawers (of course)
-
It's Alex's handwriting. The soil has mixed in with the dirt. There's nothing else plainly visible either. Amber puts on perfume. There's nothing under the pillows. Moving on?
-
It's difficult to see the whole paper, due to the dirt, but from what you can make out it says "Why can't we be together forever?" There's nothing but shoes in the shoe boxes. There's notes in each book, however they look like simple annotations of what's occurring in the text. There is no diary. There are also a few photos from the Lexington Town Picnic that includes the Chief. Other than that, the pictures range from family photos to vacation pictures.

Upon opening the dresser, it would appear that this is Jack's storage space in the bedroom. There's a plethora of clothes ranging from all different varieties. There's also a few pairs of shoes, a comb, a brush, and hair gel. This would appear to be Julia's dresser. There's dresses and other garments, as well as many shoe boxes, a few books, some photo albums, and other various clothing articles. The make-up counter is a nice table with a mirror mounted on the wall and a small stool in front of it. There's several drawers filled with various perfumes, make-ups and other toiletries. In another drawer is a hair dryer and other hair-care products. James finds a nuclear missile. It's empty. Most of the town. It has a wide view. There's mostly soil and roots inside the pot. Also inside the pot is a dirty crumpled piece of paper.
-
"Yeah it was, I can only wear it for formal occasions dude." Not pictured: A makeup counter and a second dresser.
-
It's a nice metallic watch. It looks rather expensive.
-
He's 17.
-
"Fine you nerd." He opens the safe. There's some money in there and a nice watch.
-
There's nothing of real importance on the computer. "No way, dude! That's my private safe!" "The sun is setting; you've only got a few hours left."
-
The DVD is "War of the Worlds". "Fine dudes." He enters the password. "I come from a long line of politicians. My grandfather was a Governor, my father was a Congressman, and I'm a Mayor."
-
"Oh, now I remember. That's my daughter, but she's a freshman in college. She just left, I'm so sad." It's a safe. It's locked. It's an older rifle, most likely expensive. It is not loaded. There's a considerable amount of dust on the rifle. "His Uncle, or should I say your brother, bought it for him. I've never taken him out hunting so I doubt that it's ever been fired."
-
There's a password. "Don't ask, don't tell bro." There's a bunch of clothes, a safe, a hunting rifle, a pencil sharpener, a tape dispenser, a photo of Jeremy with a girl, a flashlight, an Algebra book, a toy gun, and a CD. Fugazi already looked inside the wardrobe. Unless Fugazi meant the drawers next to the bed. megabluck I'm such a bad reader. Jack takes out his knife he carried with him and cuts open the basketball, but there's just air in there. "Thanks a lot, you square. " Oh, and inside those drawers is a one hundred dollar bill, an old calender, a subscription to Sports Illustrated, an old cell phone, a deck of cards, a flashlight, a DVD, a cord, an antique telescope, some gum, a pornographic magazine, a bottle of hair gel, a hair styling guide, a brush, dental floss, an old used toothbrush, and a baseball glove.
-
Inside the folders are various schoolwork and other assignments from various subjects. "I don't remember! It probably came off an old project." "Absolutely not, dudes!"
-
There's a lot of dust under the rug, as well as a crushed soda can and a folder. There's a great deal of clothes inside the dresser including various shirts, about five of the same sweatshirt Jeremy has on now, a nice sweater, several pairs of pants, a comb, socks, underwear, pajamas, a folder, some gum, a candy bar, and a piece of felt.
-
James already did, but there's nothing unusual hidden inside the cabinet. "Check out my sick room, dudes."
