"General Stanley!" Director Hoffman yells. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" "Arresting these people, back off." "General..." Captain Garrison started. "Don't you think we're overreacting just a tad?" "Shut up and do as you're told, Garrison." "Give me the gun." Hoffman barks. The two struggled, and in the struggle, Captain Garrison was pushed down. "Give me the gun you World War One relic!" Hoffman shouts. "Back off!" "You can't handle that weapon you washed up soldier!" "I can handle it better than you, you hair gel wasting buffoon!" Suddenly, a shot rang out, and Director Hoffman fell to the ground, dead. Everyone stood mortified. General Stanley raised his weapon incredulously to look at it, then he lowered it. However, the die was cast, and there was no turning back. "Arrest them." He says after a few moments. "Shoot them if they resist." The soldiers moved forward, one moved to Farmer Alan and James, who both resisted. "You shouldn't have resisted!" The soldier says. He fired, but the bullet stopped a few feet away from the two townies. "Wait! I have the results of the building contest!" The Congressman shouts. "Is now really the best time?" the soldier asks. "No time like the present." "Aren't you in jail?" James asks. "No, that's my character. I'm the host." "There's a difference?" Farmer Alan asks. "Shut up. The two winners are...Fugazi and CorneliusMurdock! They had the only two entries." "What do we win?" James asks. "Immunity. Now I have to go before I continue breaking the fourth wall." He disappears. "I wonder what that means for me." The soldier asks. The bullet does a 360 and comes back and hits the soldier in the chest, and he falls to the ground. "Oof!" he sputters, dying. Garrison kicks his former commander to the ground, meanwhile, Mayor Bradford builds up some courage. "Everyone get to the Lakota!" he shouts. "It's our only hope!" A few townspeople rush forward as the scuffle continues behind them. James uses his cargo handling knowledge to try and start the boat. It successfully turns on! "Get on, quick!" Everyone boards, including Captain Garrison, whom they let on reluctantly. Chief Fields kicks the ladder off the boat, and Officer Harrison gives the thumbs up to James, who pushes the throttle forward. The old lines securing the boat snap, as the cargo vessel jolts forward. General Stanley's loud yells are heard as only a whisper in the distance, as the boat leaves Alabatha. The townies are free, but only to an extent, as the spies are still among them... ---------- Characters: Government Workers Ian Bradford (Mayor) played by Walter Kovacs Will Ackerson (Town Councilman) played by iamded Tim Fields (Police Officer) played by CallMePie Louis Harrison (Police Officer) played by Brickme --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working Class Dieter Schneider (Chef) played by Shadows Patrick Jefferson (Lawyer) Played by Professor Flitwick James Falzone (Dock Worker) played by CorneliusMurdock [/b] Alan Simmons (Farmer) played by Fugazi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Dolores Jefferson (Housewife) played by Def Gloria Jefferson (Student) played by Admiral Ron Stevie Jefferson (Student) played by Legonater Ralph Jenkins (Retired Salesman) played by Cralegoboy Matt Liebenston (HUAC Investigator) Played by Dragonator ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Arrivals Captain Pete Garrison (National Guard Captain) Played by Lord Arjay Krista Halle (Farmer) Played by Peanuts Deceased Valerie Jenkins (Housewife) played by Sok117 Jackie Harding (Ted's Wife) Played by Captain Becker Simon Lloyd (Doctor) played by Burman Ted Harding (Captain of the Lakota) Played by Capt.JohnPaul Frankie Daly (Deckhand) Played by Captain Genero Maxwell Touns (Congressional Aide) Played by Mrlegoninja Julie “Princess” Parker (Nurse) played by The Crazy One Alan Cain (Judge) played by JCC1004 Voted Out Ryan Phelps (Police Chief) played by JimButcher Good luck! (Borrowed partly from Dragonator’s Mystery Manor) 1. There are 18 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. I am trusting you all not to drop out halfway through, as that is never any fun. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. 3. This game is meant to be fun, so enjoy yourselves! 4. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 5. Please try to avoid editing your posts, as it can lead to suspicion against you. Just consider what you want to say before you say it, and you'll be fine. 6. Please remember that this is the early 1950’s. No iPods, digital cameras, cell phones, printers, computers, fax machines, or otherwise. No events past the current date either, or else people will view you as insane. 7. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. You’ll always have the option of backtracking or researching the same place. 8. The host is usually always right. If you think I’ve made an error, then please discuss this in the discussion thread or feel free to PM me. 9. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 10. Remember that although a chapter has ended, that doesn’t mean that the day has concluded, and night actions can be used. 10b. There are also chapter actions. Those of you with chapter actions have the ability to use them at the end of each chapter. 11. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. Rules may be added or deleted as the game goes on based on game play. 12. This is the 1950’s, the middle of the Cold War. You’re under constant worry of potential nuclear Armageddon, so act like it. The Communists are your enemies in this game, don’t forget that. Also, anytime historical facts from the 1950’s are brought in is a big plus.

It appears to have been fueled recently, as the fuel display indicates a half full tank of fuel. "I think he slept in here, in a sleeping bag. Must've taken it with him when he left town with the others." Mayor Bradford says. "I believe three years." Farmer Alan says. The town decides to lock up Captain Garrison and Ralph Jenkins. The Captain provides the most restraint, so both officers must hold on to him as they lead him to the Town Hall. Ralph walks freely, accepting his lockup. "Unhand my Captain!" a voice calls. General Stanley and a group of soldiers approach. "Since your attempts at weeding out the communists appear to yield no results, I have no choice but the enact X-K2P earlier than expected. Please offer no resistance." he says. The soldiers begin to move forward... No Night Actions will be accepted tonight. Chapter Thirteen will be up in less than 24 hours. This topic can be locked now, please.

The bottom of the lighthouse is immaculate, there's nothing indicating a trapdoor and there's no objects scattered about. Somebody cares for this lighthouse. There's various tools in the box, and nothing seems out of the ordinary in the bulb-box. The wires lead to a power generator in a panel beneath the floor on the roof of the lighthouse. There's no other rooms in the lighthouse. "Honestly I cannot recall who the lighthouse keeper is, or was. He's a recluse, that much I do recall." Mayor Bradford says. You can see all of Alabatha, and the bay beyond Alabatha as well. There's no false rocks or secret trap doors, all the rocks are solid and in the same place since last time. The wreckage is also no longer present at the lighthouse. It must have moved out with the current.
-
The door is unlocked, and there are no hollow floors or walls. There's nothing near the lighthouse. It is a complete standalone structure. Inspector Liebenston enters the lighthouse. At the top of the stairs, there's a large light spinning slowly around, typical to a lighthouse. There's nothing of real interest otherwise. There's a toolbox nearby the light, a large box marked replacement bulbs, and several electrical wires running around the floor. It would appear that nobody has been up here in awhile.
-
I didn't even get to poop in your gardens... There's not really much to say, mostly because I didn't last that long. It was a great game, with a good story.
-
The lighthouse is a large tan circular structure with a door built into it. There's stairs inside the lighthouse, leading up the ceiling where there's a light, and other items. The lighthouse is built on a large rock overlooking the bay. No. Look back and do it yourselves. It's all in the preceding chapters.
-
The handwriting samples that were produced yesterday don't match anyone present, however, not all samples were collected. The General is not present, but there's really no set timespan for a chapter. The group begins their trek to the lighthouse.

It says "Painted by a Famous French Artist". On the back, it says, "Results Misinterpreted", in small hastily written lettering. The note was probably shoved in the hole where the hand holding the fishing rod was, where there was an opening to the inside of the gnome.
-
Ralph's "priceless" gnome is smashed. There was a piece of paper inside of the gnome, and it now sits in the pile of broken ceramic clay. There isn't.
-
They're in packaging. Inspector Liebenston rolls the paper towels over the floor, but there's no messages on them. The other houses searched did not have a lawn gnome.
-
Yes, you could. However, unless you're either a drug addict or a medical professional, there's no way to determine this. There's no secret compartments behind there. There's medication for heart and liver problems, as well as a few for other various reasons. There's pills in each one. There is a cabinet under the sink, but there's only some pipes and a few paper towels in there. Stevie taps those walls, revealing...nothing.
-
The medicine cabinet is filled with a great deal of prescription pill bottles. There's nothing suspicious anywhere in the toilet. The bathtub is normal as well as the sink.
-
There's a toilet, a bathtub, and a sink and medicine cabinet. "Not that I can recall...we usually stayed at home for the most part."
-
There's no apparent trap doors anywhere in the kitchen or living room, including the refrigerator, oven, and couch. There's no unusual notes or scribblings inside. "Only Valerie did the crosswords, and I believe it might have been holding a fishing pole, come to think of it." Ralph says. Check Page Nine.
-
"Is there anything else here you'd like to search? Or should we move on?" General Stanley asks.
-
All other actions do not count due to ridiculousness. There's nothing in Ralph's pockets, and he wears a size nine. Farmer Alan carefully looks through Valerie's closet, but there's nothing suspicious in there. James examines the spool of yarn, but it's just a spool of yarn. There aren't any secret compartments in the lawn gnome, and the object it was holding appears to be cylindrical.
-
Inspector Liebenston takes the bullets. There's been no messages written on them. The books in the nightstand are romance novels, and none of them really stand out. There's only a few, so James checks for secret compartments in each. None of them have one. There's nothing under or in the mattress. Nothing under the couch, and if you take the proper tools you can remove the kitchen floor tiles.
-
There is nothing in the mattress, and there is a way to hide something in the mattress. Gloria falls into the pond. There's only dirt and stone in the pond. It's a Colt Revolver. There's no markings on the bullets. The pistol has been used recently, and it is loaded./i]
-
Inside one cabinet are all of Ralph's clothes. There's shirts and pants, and there's signs of usage. Also in the cabinet is Ralph's shoes. Inside the other cabinet are Valerie's clothes. The contents of the cabinet do not appear to have been touched in quite some time. There's a few nice dresses, as well as some other clothing articles, but nothing appears out of the ordinary. Inside the drawers of the nightstand are a few books and some crossword puzzle magazines, and under the bed is empty. Matt takes the case off the top of the cabinet, and opens it. There's a pistol inside, along with some bullets. The pond is about three feet deep. Ralph scratches his head. "I can't seem to remember..." he says. There's no false walls. "Is there anything I can eat?" he asks Ralph.
-
There's nothing under the lawn gnome, however, there is evidence that it was holding something that is no longer present in its grasp. A few people help James dig the dirt, and there's nothing underneath it as far down as the roots go. The carpet cannot be removed, and you could get water out of the pond with a bucket. Inside the oven there's nothing either but a few racks to hold the dishes. Inside the cabinets are various knives, forks, spoons, cooking equipment, pads of paper, and pencils. The entire upstairs is one room, save for the bathroom. There's a large bed underneath a skylight, and two lamps on nightstands on both sides of the bed. There's also two cabinets and there's a case on the very top of one of the cabinets. Inspector Liebenston takes apart the picture frame, but there's nothing hidden inside. He then heads upstairs.
-
Outside of the home, there's a small man-made pond, a flowerbed, and a lawn gnome. Opening the door reveals a couch situated in front of a television set. There's a spool and yarn on one side of the couch. The entire floor is carpeted until reaching the kitchen area. The kitchen is white tile, and there's a refrigerator, oven, stove-top, and some cabinets. There's also a table with two seats. There's stairs leading upstairs over near the entrance. The flowerbeds are recently dug, as Valerie had planted seeds before this whole situation began. It's fine. Inspector Liebenston looks inside the cabinets and stove. There's a plethora of dishes and other cooking equipment. On top of the furniture in the kitchen, which is a table, there's a nice potpourri assortment of sweet smelling decorations. There's also a plate setting for two. Looking behind the appliances, there's nothing of interest there. The only appliances are a toaster and a coffee machine. There's a photo of Ralph and Valerie in Paris next to the Eiffel Tower hanging prominently, and there's a few knives in the drawers, but there's nothing else that appears out of place.
-
Stevie pokes all the walls on the outside, but to no avail. There's no false walls. Inspector Liebenston barges into Ralph Jenkins' house, and opens his refrigerator. There's food in there, but nothing other than that.
-
Having inconclusively deciding who to lock up, the townspeople arrive at the Jenkins Residence. Ralph stands at the door. "You're welcome to come in, but if you try to eat from my refrigerator, I'll throw you out." he says.
-
Being that he's got a tank pointed in this general direction, I don't think that's such a hot idea.
-
Although it is not my place, but it kind of is, investigators do block night actions.
