  1. Happy Birthday, Councilman!
  2. Patrick enters the first floor of the Lakota. Suddenly, there's a large splash from the bridge, on the balcony. The group races up, but Dolores and Krista have long since swam away, utilizing their extensive training.
  3. The Patrol Boat left some time ago. Farmer Alan then reveals that he is a cannibal. They cannot be seen anywhere, and everyone else is present. James then puts his hard hat back on.
  4. James throws his hardhat at the Inspector, disorienting him. The two struggle for a bit, and Farmer Alan rushes up to help, but to no avail. "Now I'll have to kill you." he says, searching for a witty one-liner. *BANG* The Inspector tumbles over, and dies. "I've been waiting to do that since I got here." "You knew it was him all along?" James asks. "...No." The Congressman says. "Where did you get that gun?" Farmer Alan inquires. "I've had it since I got to town." "And you're just using it now?" The Congressman looks off to the side, but doesn't say anything. "Hey." Stevie asks. "Where's Dolores and Krista?" They've disappeared.
  5. Inspector Liebenston, who still has the gun pointed at the crowd, demand Fields and Harrison hand over their weapons. "Chief?" Harrison asked. "Just do it. We're not out of this yet." The police hand their pistols over to the communists, who throw them over the side.
  6. No, Chapter 15 is where the bad guys and the good guys argue with each other after everything is revealed. It won't last long, as honestly there isn't that much to be done, but it's just a place where the in-game players can find out who the bad guys are.
  7. "Those are the tallies of people chosen by others. For example, Alan Simmons was submited as a communist by one person, so therefore he has one on the list below. It was really something to help me, it's more of just putting the words above in numerical form." The congressman says.
  8. "I've tabulated all of the results of your private messages." The Congressman said. "Let's go through them, you need to get at least 4 points to win the game. Each correct answer, or even portion of an answer, counts as a point." Question One: Who are the remaining communists? There are three remaining, Dolores Jefferson, Matt Liebenston, and Krista Halle Admiral Ron said: Krista Halle, Matt Liebenston, and Will Ackerson. Flitwick said: No answer brickme said: Captain Harding Shadows said: No answer Walter said: No answer Question Four: Why were the certain places on the map circled? The correct answer is: They were what Jack Howard was assigned to investigate. The Farm, being the entrance to Project Wolf. The Town Hall, where files could be taken, and the entrance to Project Wolf. The lighthouse, where he arrived, and the Jefferson household, to protect the former Senator, as it was the belief of the CIA that the communists were trying to assassinate the former Senator. Legonater said: The palces on the map where places involved with the evacuation of the lab, or places the CIA were keeping tabs on. I think. I'll keep checking. Admiral Ron said: Entrances to Project Wolf/soon to be entrances Cornelius said: Entrances to Project Wolf Cralegoboy said: I honestly have no idea. Fugazi said: they were the objectives of Jack Howard: Lighthouse (point of landing), Town Hall (to get the town files), Farm (tunnel entrance), Jefferson's place (investigate Dolores) CallMePie said: Each one is where someone with an anti-townie role originated. iamded said: They uh... had connections with communist activity? Flitwick said: The locations on the maps mark were the tunnels link to, with one being in/near my house; thats how the would-be-killer got in and out quickly. brickme said: Possibilities of communist spies dropped by a helpful american Shadows said: No answer Walter said: No answer BONUS QUESTIONS (here is where you could get extra points) What is Project Wolf? The correct answer here is a red herring, Project Wolf does not even exist. It was a made up and fabricated location, that Inspector Liebenston broke into, and thought he stole important information, when in reality, he did not. The entire location was an elaborate trap created to find the communists. X-K2P was also created to scare the townspeople into trying to find the communists quicker, it would have never occurred. General Stanley, however, was not made aware of the situation, which is why so many people died, and why he tried to kill you all. Those who answered correctly: Fugazi CallMePie Funny Response: Cornelius: A lab that is trying to create an army of undead mutants. What killed Laura Jefferson? Dolores Jefferson did, in order to get closer to Patrick Jefferson, and persuade him back into politics so she could siphon off information from him. Those who answered correctly: Cornelius Fugazi Funny Response: brickme: Herself Total Points: Admiral Ron: IIII Legonater: IIII Cornelius: IIIII Cralegoboy: Fugazi: IIIIIII CallMePie: II iamded: I Flitwick: I brickme: I Shadows: 0 Walter: 0 Winners: Admiral Ron, Legonater, Cornelius, and Fugazi For the Communists: Winners: Def, Peanuts "Wait a minute!" Patrick yelled. "My wife isn't a communist!" "I'm sorry Patrick...I love you, I really do. But my country has to come first." she said. "Krista! You too?" Farmer Alan asked. "Yeah. My job was to poison your crops in case we were ratted out, but seeing as how we're on a boat, I guess that's impossible." "Enough of this." the Inspector said, whipping out a pistol. "We're going to wait until that little patrol boat comes back, then you'll never see us again." The (mostly) stunned townspeople watched in horror as their former loved ones turned on them. Use this chapter to discuss amongst each other and bicker and argue with the communist spies. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Characters: Government Workers Ian Bradford (Mayor) played by Walter Kovacs Will Ackerson (Town Councilman) played by iamded Tim Fields (Police Officer) played by CallMePie Louis Harrison (Police Officer) played by Brickme --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working Class Dieter Schneider (Chef) played by Shadows Patrick Jefferson (Lawyer) Played by Professor Flitwick James Falzone (Dock Worker) played by CorneliusMurdock Alan Simmons (Farmer) played by Fugazi -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Gloria Jefferson (Student) played by Admiral Ron Stevie Jefferson (Student) played by Legonater Ralph Jenkins (Retired Salesman) played by Cralegoboy ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Arrivals Communists Krista Halle (Farmer) Played by Peanuts Dolores Jefferson (Housewife) played by Def Matt Liebenston (HUAC Investigator) Played by Dragonator Brickdoctor Deceased Valerie Jenkins (Housewife) played by Sok117 Jackie Harding (Ted's Wife) Played by Captain Becker Simon Lloyd (Doctor) played by Burman Julie “Princess” Parker (Nurse) played by The Crazy One Alan Cain (Judge) played by JCC1004 Ted Harding (Captain of the Lakota) Played by Capt.JohnPaul Frankie Daly (Deckhand) Played by Captain Genero Maxwell Touns (Congressional Aide) Played by Mrlegoninja Voted Out Ryan Phelps (Police Chief) played by JimButcher Captain Pete Garrison (National Guard Captain) Played by Lord Arjay (Borrowed partly from Dragonator’s Mystery Manor) 1. There are 18 participants. If you commit to the game you are committing to contributing to the story and sticking with it to the end. I am trusting you all not to drop out halfway through, as that is never any fun. 2. You must search for clues. This means that an action must be specified. For example, you wish to search a room for hidden objects. The following is an example of how not to go about this: "I wish to look for suspicious or hidden objects in this room". Instead, you must be able to specify what you want to do. For example: "I would like to open the drawers of the cabinet." It is not required for you to specify exactly what you are doing and what you are looking for, but a generalized statement will not find you anything. Act like a detective and you will be fine. 3. This game is meant to be fun, so enjoy yourselves! 4. Please be patient with me between chapters, I will try to put up the chapter topics as quickly as possible, but, this might not be so all the time. 5. Please try to avoid editing your posts, as it can lead to suspicion against you. Just consider what you want to say before you say it, and you'll be fine. 6. Please remember that this is the early 1950’s. No iPods, digital cameras, cell phones, printers, computers, fax machines, or otherwise. No events past the current date either, or else people will view you as insane. 7. I won’t keep you in a certain room if you don’t want me too. You’ll always have the option of backtracking or researching the same place. 8. The host is usually always right. If you think I’ve made an error, then please discuss this in the discussion thread or feel free to PM me. 9. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning. A second failure will result in the death of your character. 10. Remember that although a chapter has ended, that doesn’t mean that the day has concluded, and night actions can be used. 10b. There are also chapter actions. Those of you with chapter actions have the ability to use them at the end of each chapter. 11. No Metagaming please. Also, don’t base suspicions on how the person looks. Rules may be added or deleted as the game goes on based on game play. 12. This is the 1950’s, the middle of the Cold War. You’re under constant worry of potential nuclear Armageddon, so act like it. The Communists are your enemies in this game, don’t forget that. Also, anytime historical facts from the 1950’s are brought in is a big plus.
  9. *cough* Hurry up and turn it in *cough*
  10. Time is (and has been) up. This topic can now be locked. Chapter Fifteen, the final chapter, will be up Saturday. Do not send in night actions.
  11. Only one hour left! I'll count CallMePie's answers, even though he didn't PM them.
  12. You have less than twenty four hours to turn those answers in to me. It's the only way you can win.
  13. "Where is Captain Garrison?" the Congressman asks. "He fell overboard, we convicted him as a communist. Surely he is one." Chief Fields says. "Captain Garrison wasn't a communist! You haven't gotten any communists!" he says "But...Valerie and Chief Phelps were confirmed as communists." Ralph says. "By who?" "General Stanley told us." "Of course. Stanley lied, they are still presumably among you." The townspeople looked around incredulously. Here is how to win. For the townspeople, please PM me the following answers: Who are the remaining communists? Who is/was the framer? Who crashed into the shore in Chapter Two? Why were the certain places on the map circled? Here are a few bonus questions: What is Project Wolf? What killed Laura Jefferson? For the communists to win: No more than 4 people must guess you. Good luck, you have 48 hours. It's best not to share your answers here unless you want someone to steal them.
  14. The townspeople woke up the next morning to find everyone from their group still alive, no one had been killed during the night. The sound of a small water craft approached. The townspeople feared the worst, seeing a military patrol boat come speeding towards them... "Hello!" The Congressman says. It's only the Congressman! He comes aboard. "I am pleased to tell you that General Stanley has been arrested." he says. The townspeople looked around. If they had killed all the communists, what was to be done now? 15. Attention Players: Chapter Fourteen will be up on either Monday or Tuesday, depending. After fourteen is Chapter Fifteen, which is the last chapter. I advise everyone to reread or at least skim through the entire game, from Chapter One to Chapter Thirteen. This will help you in Chapter Fourteen.
  16. With Eight Votes, Captain Garrison has been convicted. The police put the Army Captain in handcuffs, and started to move him towards the interior of the boat. "Toss him overboard!" someone yelled. "Get rid of him now!" another shouted. In the confusion, Captain Garrison fell overboard. The police tried to catch him, but failed. The experienced swimmer was unable to keep above the water, due to the disorientation of the fall and the handcuffs. The Captain sank to the depths of the harbor. His body was not visible in the murky waters. As the moon rose on the cargo ship, the townspeople moved inside and found someplace to sleep. However, evil is still among them, and what would happen tonight could change the fate of their town. This topic may now be locked, please get all night actions in to me.
  17. They were only listed because they are the only changes. Captain Garrison / Lord Arjay 8(CallMePie, The Legonater, Cralegoboy, Admiral Ron, iamded, Peanuts, Brickdoctor, Fugazi) With Eight Votes, Captain Garrison has been convicted. This thread will be open a bit longer, and it is possible to overturn that conviction. You'll have about 12 hours left in this chapter.
  18. Captain Garrison / Lord Arjay 7(CallMePie, The Legonater, Cralegoboy, Admiral Ron, iamded, Peanuts, Brickdoctor)
  19. He said to me before the start of the chapter that he lost track of what happened and he would try to post more, although it would be difficult for him because once you fall behind in a Mystery, it's nearly impossible to catch up. However, he hasn't posted yet so something might happen. I also think Walter is away somewhere, and Brickme informed me that there were massive power outages in his area, so he's been unable to play. He told me, however, that he is catching up and will try to post ASAP.
  20. Captain Garrison / Lord Arjay 4(CallMePie, The Legonater, Cralegoboy, Admiral Ron, Farmer Alan / Fugazi 1(Lord Arjay) Dieter Schneider / Shadows 2 (Bob, Bob) Reason For Edit: Fixed an Error.
  21. Whoever is convicted will go in the cell.
  22. It's now been a few hours since the escape, and the sun is starting to set in the background behind them. A few of the townies step onto the deck. "We've found a room where we can lock a suspect in." one says.
  23. "There's no need for you to rush. General Stanley doesn't have a boat. Also, there's no time limit on this day. You don't need to rush to a conclusion." "Who said that?" someone asks. "It sounded like it was coming from the sky." another said.
  24. There's a large clanking noise clearly heard from the bottom deck, as the Lakota stops, dead in the water. The Engine that Captain Harding spent hours fixing had broken, possibly for good this time. The Lakota is currently a mile away from Alabatha. Councilman Ackerson and the Mayor huddle close to each other. Look here. I'm getting to that, hold your horses. With the boat dead in the water, everyone looks at each other confused. James and Farmer Alan leave the bridge for the main deck with everyone else, and sit down. It's quite cold out. "I think our best option is to hold a vote." Inspector Liebenston says. "One last vote, while we still can. Maybe if we root out the communists, we'll be able to impress Stanley when he catches up to us and he'll let us go." The others nod in affirmation. It will take 8 votes to reach a consensus on who to pick.
  25. Am I missing something here? Everything will be explained at the end. By the way, I read this earlier, and the subsequent updates, but this is very nicely made! I like the vignettes added as well, and this will no doubt help newbie mafia players.
