    With referance to Rotaser: I don' t think that the area of the pirates should be changed. The kids all around the world know carib. Pirates. There are a lot of Films and stuff.Of cause in the asian point of view a asian pirates theme would be great, but, I don't know how it is in the US, but when one of these new actionfilm with a US mainactor which is a General of the an asian army in 15th century , or Samurai XYZ films, the cinemas here can close, because nobody wants to watch that. It would also not be different if we would get a northsea pirate theme, or a 'battle of the Hanse' theme, Many would love it but many would hate it. And nothing is more important than that the kids can identify with the persons of the theme. And the carib. Pirates are the only way to assure that. With referance tho Lord duvors French namens would we great, but I think the best would be one french name like lt.de Martinet and the other names in the language of the market. German in germany, spanish in Spain and so on. In 1989 it was great with the names.

    I did not know that Germany is the main market research nation of lego. If it could be helpful I could show nearly complete sets or concepts in a kindergarten here in germany. My sister is a teacher here in my hometown in germany. I could ask kids in the right age in shoppingmals too.

    The armada flagship is very cheap. I bought it for 30 Euro, but it is not really a pirate ship. You can get 6289 for about 60 Euro in Germany. I can recommandate to buy on eBay germany for all lego buyers all over the world, because the prices are the cheapest around the globe. From Germany the seller can deliver for 18 Euro (DHL) around the world.

    A ship with a undead crew is not realy the essence of the 89 - 93 pirates, don t you think so kintobor? This idea was also used in castle and was not very successful.

    This is the best idea ever. Unfortunatelly i am not able to help in building or writing. I think the best selling supthema would be 1. soldiers or 2. armada, because that is what kids want to have. I wish you and myself that it will be a great success.

    Imperial Fort: I would like to see a little village with an imperial habour with bluecoats and a few civilians. Pirateship: Classic style more like the early ships littleset: A little tower set like the outpost 6265 from 1989 Battlepack: 3 Battlepacks. First the starterpack with 5 figures, the pirate captain, 2 pirates, 1 Admiral and 1 Bluecoat soldier. Second the piratepack 5 figures without a captian third the soldierspack 5 figures, 1 officer and 4 normal Bluecoats

    Hi, welcome in the forum. I am myself not a very good Mocer, therefore I can´t help you with your problem 1. But I would like to see your army. You must deeplink your pictures. There is a little help somewhere in this forum, where you can learn how to do that with Flickr. There you can read that you have to upload the Pics on Flickr. Than you have to copy the location of the pic. Than you have to click on the icon called "image" here. It is the little icon with the tree. There you have to paste the copied location. Press enter and the pic is here . I hope you understand my terrible english .

    I must say, that your picture of the crew is absolutly heroic. Its like they would do it in a to much patriotic hollywood movie. That is brilliant. The Flag is exactly what I wanted to build into a big tower a few mounth ago, but everything I build looked terrible. Your flag is a dream.

    I like your Interpretation of the Flagship. I think the side of the ship looks brilliant. Form far away it don t seem so great. But than look near, wow. I just definatly buy a lot of the rounded bricks you used at THW side. Thanks for posting

    Thank you very much for your review. I like that set, in my opinion it is the best "small" set of all waves. Looks simply great. Everybody should have 5 of it or more :).

    Thank you very much. I worked on it for a week, but only 2 hours a day. I knew what I want to do, therefore I bought 2 Car. Clippers before starting this. Therefore I had many bricks I needed on my table and must not search so often in my boxes :).

    Hello together, when I was a child I loved the Lego Pirates audio dramas. I got all from my parents. A few weeks ago me and my wife bought a house an I had to work there for month. At this time I heard the cassettes again while paperhanging. While I did that I remembered that I always want to build the "cannonball" the flagship of Governor Broadside. Now I am able to do that. My attention was to build a ship like the Car. Clipper in big :). The ship should have all attributes of the car. clipper but more powerful than the imp. flagship. I hope you like my ship. The sets in the background are not part of my moc :) I have only to low space in my Lego room. Two cannons at the front of the "cannonball", the ship need this two because of its main function: pirate hunter Here at the left is a little prision, it can only be reached from the top. It can also be used as a stock. The ship has overall 16 cannons. The "cannonball" can open the roof.

    Attention!!!! It isn´t the imperial flagship, it is only the instruction. And the auction is based in Germany not in France
