  1. It's never a bad thing to go to the south!
  2. Ahoy mates! Let me present you Capt. Cristóbal and his crew! Right now in total there are 58 boys and girls Captain Cristóbal and his pirate crew by Pvl, on Flickr Captain Cristóbal and his pirate crew by Pvl, on Flickr Captain Cristóbal and his pirate crew by Pvl, on Flickr Captain Cristóbal and his pirate crew by Pvl, on Flickr Captain Cristóbal by Pvl, on Flickr
  3. Indeed! It's since forever I haven't bough an enitre set, I did become a bricklink-only person. But this one I would buy the moment I would see it on shelf of my local store!
  4. I like this MOC a lot, the colors, the action. And also photos are done in a way that suits perfectly to enjoy every possible angle of the battle.
  5. It brings back the memories of hours and hours spent looking at the early 90s catalogues!
  6. So far nothing, I have tried using both the contact form on the website and also directly their email address, but I haven't recieved any reply.
  7. I was thinking exactly the same when I saw it, this is how I would hope a 2019 official Lego Pirates set could (and should) look like.
  8. Personally I like more the black variant, yellow is imho very strong color, the details come out so much more if used on smaller (thinner) parts of the ship.
  9. Another fantastic MOC, great job Pantelis! And as usual, I appreciate more the piratey side
  10. My first ever Pirates set was this innocent, very well barrel-equipped 6261 Raft Raiders! I put emphasis on the barrels, because surely back then must have started my barrels obsession, nowadays whenever I do a bricklink order, I always check out the store if they have any and make sure to add some to my order
  11. I like this MOD a lot, those piratey colors suit this ship so much better than the red coats one! The photo next to the Skulls Eye is the best, you matched the colors perfectly.
  12. I wrote them the other day, I will let you all know when they reply me. I didn't notice the possibility to send them very own parts, that could work well though!
  13. It was already mentioned above, but the color scheme suits so well to this galleon! Great job Elephnat Knight
  14. Thank you for the bump, I haven't seen this post before! And it would be a shame, I really enjoyed reading it, I like the detail and the storytelling. Great job TalonCard
  15. Thank you Darnok for sharing the link, that looks really interesting. However I browsed their catalog and they do not have the big red flag in there. I'll try to contact them and ask if there is a chance they could print also on different bricks/flags outside of their catalogue.
  16. Thank you DonRamon for sharing all these facts and informations! I'm really liking the red flag too, it would be so cool if Lego actually released one like that
  17. The Skull island is so cool! I like how you used the slopes to create the rock. I know the pieces are laid freely, yet the result but looks so compact!
  18. Those extra studs in width of this MOD are really doing the trick, it has so much more serious feel about it. I like the various colors masonry bricks combination, great work! Btw I'm loving the lamp on the rear side, I may borrow that idea to my upcoming MOC.
  19. You did a really great job BaronSat! I like the classic 90s feel that remains from the original one, while adding the fresh touch of new colors (the light blue really rocks this MOC). If the Lego company ever released this set, it would be the best medium sized soldiers one, since the Sabres island itself. Are you going to do some other MODs? Maybe also the other side? I would really love to see the Rock Island Refugee or the Forbiden island MODed
  20. I'm loving all the action there, really a great entry!
  21. I really like your MOC, great & funny idea and even better realization!
  22. Thank you very much for your kind words guys! The palm trees aren't my invention though, I have used these from MikeS's tutorial.
  23. Hello everyone at Classic pirates, I would like to present my new MOC, as you can see from the following images, it is a pirates island. «Old forgotten guard tower, known as La Torre Olvidada is located somewhere in the Caribbean. For a long period it has belonged to the Spanish armada. After a long siege it has been abandoned, and some years after the Capt. Cristóbal and his men found their hideout there. When they aren't busy drinking rum, they take off from there to steal the gold, using the island as the storage for their loot.» I hope you will like my island, more photos can be seen on my Flickr.
  24. This is simply amazing, if it was for sale, I'd buy it immediately. Like this I will at least register on the Lego website to help by supporting you.
  25. This is simply amazing! I'm living in Italy now, If in the future you ever get to show this in public, I'll be there to admire it for an endless count of hours.
