Great work! I really like this one, but I wondered, why didn't you just make the real ship, the Thranta-class? and I like the use of those dementor legs as tiny little detail.

I can't understand that its current leg attachement design could bug you, because it is able to stand properly without doing a running motion. If you'd like to change it, you could of course remove the two smaller axles that connect to the legs and replace them with one bigger axle that goes al the way through. It's about the one of the battle of endor, right? I think this may work.

I like this topic, I also thought that something like this could be an entertaining topic. I think I will also put some pictures in in future. Question: what happened with your sets? They are not complete/build like they should.

The build is great again, you did a nice recolor! however, I don't see really much new things aside from the recolor, so you might recieve less points for this one. I recommend that you focus on something else first, and if you really want to do another color try a completely different building style for the next wings. (e.g. SNOTted wings, an other piece for the droid escape part) it would be a bit more "fresh" if you made it next episode.

I have to admit I like this one, I think it is your best MOC so far. you did a good job recoloring official sets, and used some techniques of sets, and you managed to improve it with your own stile too! by the way, you don't have to say "thank you" to everyone edit: I forgot to say you did a good job on those minifigs, your own idea?

I think you should go for the Jabba sets first. They will be retired earlier then the ewok village, and you might get some discounts soon. Because it is thought that next year will be PT heavy, not much sets of episodes IV-VI will likely come that year, so you could save for the ewok village next year :) Remember, how later you buy the sets, the more chanche you get on a discount! By the way, it's Original Trilogy, not Old trilogy. ;) The complaints of that turkey community have nothing to do with the retirement of the palace, TLG was planning to discontinue the set anyways, but they said to that community that they would discontinue it for them, to make everyone happy. TLG always wins :)

I'd like to join the reviewes academy. I've got loads of sets, I think more than 150 times the requirement ! I already have a decent camera, but I've got some money left to buy/construct a lightbox and a new and better camera, I'd like to have some advice for that.

I posted a link once, and I'm sorry, I didn't knew it wasn't allowed, I thought posting links was OK but posting pictures was not permitted. so, suppose if I see new images, and they are confidential, what do I have to post to make everyone happy? a link for e.g. Mintinbox is not allowed, but can I post "new preliminary images at a site called mintinbox"? and say, for example "new preliminary images on my Flickr" (while I have a link to my Flickr in my signature, for example) or is it better to post "if you'd like to see new preliminary images send me a PM and I will send you the link?" or, "If you google for winter <year> sets, the fourth link will redirect you to the images?" (just to be clear, I don't know a site for more images, so don't spam me with PM's )

They might do a SW: Rebels set, as it's going to premiere in Fall 2014, but I think that's not very likely.

18 BBY is 18 years before the battle of yavin 4, which took place in ANH. the Community Build takes place in ESB (as we're helping Leia etc. to escape). so you should use stormtroopers I think.

That looks great without the baseplate!

Nice MOC! I like it. The use of the dementor legs is great, I havn't seen that being used before, the big car windows also stand out. Except for the chin straps, I think you should put a 1x1 plate under the dementor legs and maybe then also replace the bricks under it for two plates to maintain the height. It now looks so strange with the small round pieces between the straight tiles.

It looks like the premilinary pics of the new sets at mintinbox.net have been deleted. luckily we can still view it on CM4s' test wikia
