Collectable Minifigures: Analysis by Theme
Chocolatecake replied to ResIpsaLoquitur's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Have you tried to put them into nationalities, by that I mean the country/area you get in your mind when you see the figure. I have counted a scot, a irish mythical figure, a bavarian, a hawian/polynesian etc. And nice job counting the types of figures, I gave up because, some of the figures belong to more than one category. I would also like to see your whole chart. -
That dog is a nice to have for me, not a need to have.

This years christmascalender is a must have for me, it seems like it's the cheapest way to get the dalmation from the firestation. I actually like that it isn't a theme again like police in 2011 and fire in 2012.

2013 Friends Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Chocolatecake replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Why didn't we have friends back in the late 80s and beginning of the 90s? I would have loved playing with theese set back then as a little girl The School, the hedgehog, the forrestanimal oh and the bakery. -

Wow! This is one of the best pictures I have seen Remus_lupin. -
Your first modular? Very nice first one. There are so many details in that building and really like the tiny greenhouse on the balcony, so thumbs up

The baseplate from 1978 seems to be classic lego red, same shade of red as the duplo baseplate from my childhood. This one in 10232 looks more dark red, but we will know the color when we the set in our hands.

In the Video Astrid says the red baseplate is new, when she talks about the red carpet in the lobby.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Chocolatecake replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's a serie 10 minifig. It's looks like a leak, since we first saw the figures from serie 9 in december, and serie 9 came out in the shops here in January. -
LEGO Collectible Minifigures Golden Minifigure Discussion
Chocolatecake replied to TrumpetKing's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I wouldn't go on a Golden Minifigure hunt, because I so far only have purchased those minifigures that I really like and not collecting all 16 in every series from 2 (where I began collecting). But I would keep it, if I should be so lucky to find one.- 87 replies

Okay Lego! Just take my money! I must say that the video does make the budilding even more atractive than it was on the pictures and I like very much that the put their name on the movieposter, it's a funny little feature.

Triple Review Special: 60001 - Fire Chief Car
Chocolatecake replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Town
I bought this little set a couple of days before cristmas, because of the firechief and his golden helmet - the only thing I am disapointed with is the tree, it's very flimsy and fall apart very easy.- 24 replies

Wow! I wouldn't mind buying a building like that. The design is fantastic, but I wish there where something under the roof (where there could be a first floor), it seems a bit bare. But the tiny cheastnutstand is pretty, very pretty. So good luck to you.

What a good idea, there is some kind of love build in a homemade map for the buildings.

I only have some small sets beside the Petshop, so I am working on MOC's in LDD. And thanks :)

Hello creative people at EuroBricks. I have been lurking around for a while, admired all those amazing MOC's, MOD's and all the other stuff that happens this place. About me: I came out of my dark age a year ago when I first got my hands om a tiny CMF bag and now I don't know how to make room for them on my shelf. I'm a citygirl and my heart beats for the modularbuildings, they are what I wanted when I was a child. So hello

After seeing the interior, it's a must buy for me, cause it has a lot of potential for making it my own. the cinema definitely needs some loveseats for the lovebirds and when I get my paws on the set, more ideas will come.

The first floor with the flowers, my favourite floor - but the displaywindow isn't bad, it reminds me of a classy jewellywindow, where the only decoration is the diamonds, pearls and so on.
