I guess I'll toss my name in the hat. Not sure how far I'll end up going.

The tan looks great on your entry. Maye their is a little to much in the road, some dark bley or additional light bley could fix it, but right now it still looks fine. Tan is a favorite LEGO color of mine. I get almost a castle vibe from this rather than Pirates, maybe it's just me, but the torso on the minifig and the center of attention to me really makes me think castle. I don't have a problem with it as Pirates and Castle are very similar to me. The sign post is well done and I may have to use that technique sometime. Great work! And nice idea!

It's the one, two, threes of being a pirate! I really like your entry and the rock work is very niceas with the small cobblestone path. I just feel that there is no flow from the water to the green island. Maybe some sand would help to improve that. Or positioning the entire island on rocks. Like I said I really love your entry though. Keep it up!

I was looking into an AC Moore around me, but as it turns out the nearest one is nearly 80 miles away. I don't see traveling there as an option. I've decided to just order through the online store. I searched Resin Casting and got a load of results. I'm not exactly sure which one I'm looking for. Does anyone know what I'm going to need (as of right now all I have is clay and LEGO bricks) to resin cast some of my mods and designs?

Spinning off on what Sir Dillon said mentioned a 'Da Vinci' era I thought it would be kinda cool to involve all of the arts that became popular during the Renaissance. From vigs of sculptures to anything else of the Renaissance. -
I'll look into an AC Moore. I recall hearing the name and I'll see what comes up. Odds are that I'll make resin molds and use a plastic the resin can handle. Then I'll have to look into dyeing or I already know spray painting and applying sealant may work.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I am hoping to smooth it out and resin cast a few of these. I just have to learn where to pick up some resin casting supplies (plastics, molds, etc.) and make a few of these bikes. If anyone had any tips on what to use or how to go about doing it that would be great.

Maybe a Mod could add a poll to this. I personally love Kranxx and Squidman.

The latest from 'Good Man Thinking' sports car line. Currently only available in a rather boring grey color the company plans on an expansion of production into many more great sporty colors for people from the average man to the future drag racers. Equipped with all sorts of features for the man of today. I don't mean to act like competition to your business Heather. I just thought a couple of plates of my own would look nice. ...Photos is a link to flickr...

I wuv you're entry. It is amazingly well detailed and the candy-cane colored roof (normally distracting to me) looks great. Everything about this small fantastic little vig is great including the grill tile detail on the bottom floor! Nice work and I can't wait to see how far this goes in the PTV finals!

Way to start us off! Your entry looks great other than just a few minor points that I can see. I really like the dock and your use of all of those tiles and the small hut looks very resembling to the some of the Classic Pirate sets and Islander sets. I really like that part. The rock landscaping is all great near the dock, but then as I see the grass-scaping I notice a total lack of detail. Its not awful, but with just a few plates the transition could look fantastic and would really stick out as a great detail. Another minor point (that I would usually ignore) is the base that is a few different mixed colors. I realize you may have run out of bricks, but I would rather not have to look at that. I think on of my pet peeves has to be looking as mixes of greys and blacks. Great work on you entry so far and I can't wait to see it throughout all of PTVII.

Hey great work on your entry so far man! Although I feel the red under the skeleton (blood presumably) is a little to dark and well bright. Possibly a trans-red would look nice or even without blood it may look good. After all blood would have dried if the corpses had enough time to rot into skeletons. I noticed you are new to the forum, so let me say hello and if didn't know of the website BrickLink then I would suggest checking it out to pick any parts you may be in need of for future entries or if you should choose to modify this entry of yours a little. I also feel like there is a little to much black should through the ground. You may have been trying to set a dark atmosphere and I get that, but the white background and the amount you have showing are just to much. Maybe some more brown or tan plates and tiles. Great work so far and I can't wait to see how this progresses.

Modifications to one of my favorite LEGO elements has started. I really wanted to add a few concepts to the bike and the chassis is undergoing work as we speak as well to allow it all to flow. I'm quite satisfied with how its has gone so far. Please keep in mind this is a very rough copy. The final version will have some very nice vibrant green paint, sealant, decal, etc. I then worked on it a little more before taking photos of the back of the bike. All suggestions or welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Zack

Well typically for a ship of this manor I would use the official LEGO anchor elements, but since mine was 'Missing' and has been for the past few months I was at a loss of what to do. I was also missing a name for the ship. The two ideas just seemed to merge into the title while explaining the missing anchor.

I've written a brief tutorial that can be read here for anyone interested in how I edit my photos.

I agree about the sharpness of the corners. I'll work on touching it up for the next batch of decals. As for what they look applied as stickers I have... And as waterslide decals I have... -

Thanks! I use GIMP for all of my decals (Coloring, main bulk of the design) and then I correct any stray lines in Photoscape. I've also got a couple more suit designs. A new title to this topic as well. (If its okay with the Mods.) I'm hoping on posting all my decal and cloth designs here. -
I decided to apply my some of my custom decals as waterslide decals rather than as the original intent of stickers. I'm quite happy with how they look as waterslides. A space man with custom weapon from BrickArms and the custom decal is from Don. (Username: Thepaleman) This is my first waterslide decal that I have actually designed before. See more on Flickr. Thanks, Zack

9-12 pounders 11c, other-related 2d Consider me officially back into the Piratical swing. Not that I ever really left, but why not. An idea I've been playing around with. I'm quite satisfied with the result. A possible idea for Pillage the Village. Although limiting the contest to no-little violence with certainly limit my ability to incorporate this. Ribauldequin!
