  4. Thanks for that review although boy that set seems a little pricey for me.
  5. These are both great I love the classicstyle of them both. I would love to see more out of the series.
  6. You can try this version on Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/newright/4240587324/ Its gets cut short near the end, but you should be able to get most of the film. (Stupid uploading limits )
  7. Smoking Gun An entry into THAC VII (Twenty-Four Hour Animation Contest 7). I really focused on the visual look of the film. Yes this does mean scripting animating and editing was done in 24 hours. I think it shows with how small of a plot there is. What is THAC? You can now also follow me on FaceBook and Twitter. The rest can also be seen on Flickr.
  8. Here's a of it operating for those of you who asked/wish to see it in action.
  9. I agree. The voice acting was the weakest point in this film. I did like how the animation came out though.
  10. I was trying to remove it, but eventually gave up. Maybe I'll try again to remove it later, but for now this will have to suffice.

  14. 'Relief Fund' YouTube Donate Now! Or we will find you... First successfully completed Brickfilm to date. For the Christmas Season.
  15. I liked the smoke effects and I'd love to know how you did them. Great film although some parts were a little choppy it was still a nice film.
  16. The lighting is very... well I think it could use a bit of work. Your film has all this "light flicker" than is usually caused by an inconsistency in light while you are photographing. I suggesting making sure all of your camera settings are one manual and that you barricade your windows, or at least blinds. It certainly is interesting though. What software are you using to compile the frames?
  17. I practiced a few animation cycles such as walking and a few others today and although I don't think it is my best I certainly like it a little. http://www.flickr.com/photos/newright/4163910974/ I hope to get an actual film out soon.
  18. Let's hope we can bring it back to the top... again! The blue was merely paint and I agree it could have been done possibly better I was trying to stray from the red and gold seen on quite a lot of recent ships. I've got a bit more advertising I want to show. I hope I'm allowed to in this thread. Also I do hope I go far in the contest. A few votes at least. Thanks again to everyone for the encouragement in the WIP stages and all of the kind words now. Set up for the photography. A rather cinematic shot take when photographing 'ALL' of the details.

  22. Without even looking at the username I could tell this was yours. It looks marvelous. I would like to know how you came to own all of those 1x1 round plates though as I've been searching a little, but have never found so many.
  23. If you look at the two large trans-orange cheese slopes near the driver area are suppose to be headlights. If you look at some of the smaller sets you'll notice there is not lime green. I will admit that the minifig needs some lime green though.
  24. I remember regretting not entering last year. That won't happen again. Although I'm cutting it close. It was then that Charlie realized he was only getting the Plasma Grade 101 blaster and not the 102 model, poor Charlie...
  25. Thanks for the kind words. I also reworked the first shot with a modified logo from the Atlantis set boxes.
