  1. Ilikepi: Was this what you had in mind? The flesh tone is a little off. I'll try to fix that.
  2. It's Zack and I'm glad you both liked them. I even decided to try a few more. And yes they are my first try and I'm hoping to get some printed out on cloth in the next week or so.
  3. I posted multiple designs on Flickr today most of them using the skeleton and crossbones pattern seen on the sails of BrickBeards Bounty and I applied the pattern to a rather large number of items that I will hopefully have printing onto fabric in the near future, but until that day I have the digital designs for anyone interested to pour there eyes over and if all goes well get in the future. I guess I'll start off basic with the original sail from BrickBeard's Bounty with out the fierce piratical symbol. (All photos link to Flickr) And next we have the sails with the piratical symbol. After that we have a few cloaks with a template not by me, but featuring the logo edited by myself. Now we have a tattered template design that I find to be much more random and also a cloak using the template with the Jolly Rodger. And lastly we have a set of flags with the Jolly Rodger. You can see them all on flickr. I also plan on continuing this into other themes such as Castle, Imperials, Space and anything else depending on how well-liked the designs I have now go. Scroll down for additional designs including more capes and torso stickers.
  4. I've come to the conclusion that I probably won't be changing this for a while (or at least before the contest) and have decided to enter it as is into Category Two.
  5. Sorry I'm late to decide, but I've managed to come to a decision and have chosen: Vote: Sal/Striker
  6. Glad I was able to take part in the game and thanks for the welcome Strike... I mean Sal.
  7. It was quite a nap. Did I mention my dream? Yeah I think so I reviewed my options and although it may seem a little rash after just waking up I feel I made the right decision to protect the town. I can't stand to have the reputation of my restaurant damaged by these scum. A bandwagon I think not, I think it is just the decision of the town to protect itself from scum like you. If I make the wrong decision then I won't sleep well(and trust me when I say it is quite easy for me to sleep), but from what I can tell I support my decision and if I am wrong and you believe that truly I wish you the best of luck in convincing the others. To answer your question no I do not want an innocent to die, I'm in this to take out the scum. And your extreme dislike of Shawn is also noted.
  8. Indeed only sandpaper and I must say I am quite satisfied with the result.
  9. Hello everyone, I am back after quite along nap actually I guess you could call it more of a deep sleep. I was really tired you have no idea what those energy shots do to you. You wouldn't believe the dream I had it was completely insane. And it really (in some deranged way (gave me a chance to reflect back on what was going on. There was also a ludicrous chase scene with a monkey, dynamite and a fast car from the future! But my favorite part was that... Oh right a little off-topic sorry anyway after my long reflection I have decided to vote: Vote: Zita/Zapper Brick Great to be back from my sleep btw. (Oh wait did I already mention that?)
  10. The following were all inspired by custom fedoras I bought and sanded to a shorter less 'Outback' (as Bricklink describes them) style. The sandpaper I used had a fine enough grain that the smoothness is essentially the same as the LEGO company's. Anyway there are a couple images: I have another images publicizing these as a sale item, but I don't find that quite fit to be on the forums. You can find it here if you are actually truly interested. Also see more on Flickr Thanks, Zack
  11. If I'm correct then I think new refers to the train not being shown before the date that the contest thread was released.
  12. I still want to add stickers and I'm still debating whether or not I want to make it a little longer.
  13. ENTERED At nearly 36 studs this train is slightly larger than my previous train and have a much large feeling to it. I want to make it longer before I'm done with it and I also want to add decals to the windscreen, along with its identification number and the large Sante Fe lettering. I think it has a rather realistic appearance if I do say so myself. Based On See more on Flickr
  14. Nice work on this and best of luck in the contest.
  15. I printed a few of the decals designed by EuroBrick's finest Capt. Kirk on waterslide decals and I'm very pleased with the results. I think he should be ready for any zombie-filled fest coming up. Not that I will be attending, but I'm sure someone else can take him. and as a little bonus... Decals by 'vid. See him on Flickr too! Thanks, Zack
  16. Thanks I'm glad you like it.
  17. Inspired by semi-recent work from Dr. X. and brainbike.rider. I wanted to try using highlights of a few exotic colors with this hence the teal. The cockpit design is also a very new style for me. I don't think the photography does it much justice. Trust me when I say is looks much better in person. See more on Flickr.
  18. Very cool so far. I can't wait to see where the rest of this goes.
  19. Based on the new movie to be released in 2010 by Disney. The movie is set to star Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wild, Bruce Boxleitner. It will be based off the classic video game of course and the trailer was actually released at Comic Con this year. You can also see the trailer: See more on Flickr.
  20. Those are really nice. I may need to make another order from BrickForge. Thanks for sharing.l
  21. I originally had a rather lot of action planned, cannon going off, minifigs running all over, a gang of pirates, and etcetra, etc. I may have to add a little more action.
  22. Vig. 86d Welcome to Imperial City the infamous small merchant town! With small palm trees, classic architecture, and cobblestone leaves is is a beautiful city to see. I like the use of jumper plates as part of the architecture, (idea taken from Jordan). I actually like how all of this turned especially the cobblestone pathway I managed to squeeze in. See more on Flickr.
  23. Unfortunately on the way home from Chicago it was scuttled. Perhaps next year I will try to build another large dio for BrickWorld. Nannan managed to take a few pictures of it though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/nannanz/3640088325/ As did Joe Meno: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickjournal/3644215690/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/brickjournal/3643409637/
  24. I've wanted to do Post-Apoc for a while, but I wasn't exactly sure how to go about doing it. I'm hoping I have the right idea for it. The snow if finally beginning to recede. I still manage to find it odd how we can be buried in the snow one night whilst in the middle of the desert then finally back on warm sand with the sun beating upon us. The idea of the apocalypse is so strange and facing it as a reality is odd too. I'm no sure if I'll ever adjust, but I will as long as my body will allow me to, survive. The center piece of this creation is the light up flame and it is also the most attractive part when shown in the dark I already have ideas for another Post-Apoc dio and thanks to this experience I can't wait to try it. See more on Flickr.
  25. A drag racer that uses its 'flaps' to slow down when under intense speeds in straightaway races. I'm still thinking for a little more of a backstory to it, but I will edit it in as soon as I have one. :P Inspired after seeing gIadius' RayFly. See more on Flickr.
