  4. Hey guys! This first entry of mine is really just to get the ball rolling for me creatively. Slug Tattoos by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr The point is to show this version of Anakin from season two of the old show (from his last story arc on the show). Here's my entry thread.
  5. Hey all! This entry is more about a fig than anything else. Slug Tattoos by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr The background is nondescript because it was like that on the show. I just wanted to display a few ideas: 1) That s6 Butcher's head as Anakin's to lengthen his sideburns so that they match his on the show. I have a fleshie version that I'll post with a real build sometime. 2) The new s10 "Mohawk Warrior" body to represent Anakin's body tattoos in season two of the original CW cartoon When he goes off to save that tribe's champions.
  6. That set hits all the marks. I can't wait. Those figs are to die for.
  7. Congratulations. You've made the best thing to come out of Tim Burton's Batman.
  8. Is it too late to sign up? If not please put my name on the list.
  9. That is one of the laziest builds from LEGO recently. The weapons look alright, but it's just a big square with big moulded pieces. I suspect they did this so they could sell something with a high price and fewer pieces to the kids and turn a huge profit to spend on nicer sets.
  10. Hey all! I have a trove of these on my Photostream but never saw this thread. Good job to all who've posted so far! Robin: Harley: Joker: Deathstroke: GCPD (Updated since but I have yet to photograph): Bane: Azrael (Michael Lane): Killer Croc: Mr. Zero (Mr. Freeze's old name which I prefer): Scarecrow: Nightwing & Aqualad (YJ Style - my normal Nightwing has different legs)(I have removed Aqualad's backpack and currently have a poll going for what head I should use for him): Two-Face (Actually custom): Catwoman: Red Hood (two head options - vote now for your favorite in the comments on my photostream): The Phantom Zone: Ra's Al Ghul: The Riddler: Sorry for the uber-long post!
  11. The hat is an odd choice, but he wears it well. :) Perhaps you could use my micro Silver Surfer with him! Silver Surfer! by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr That's a CM waiter tray + microfig. You could also use your trophy guy, it would be more in scale.
  12. Nightcrawler and Beast are pretty much the best things ever. Good job!
  13. I agree with the pauldrons mentioned above by Masta Blasta. As for the head, I'd go with this combo: This mask: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=47544 This head: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb251 You could also use the facemask specifically moulded for him: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=12617 I'd recommend using the PoP shoulders instead of the TMNT shoulders.
  14. You're pretty darn good at this!
  15. This is a great thread! Figured I'd take advantage of the "movie" part and post my Olympus Has Fallen figs. Olympus Has Fallen/Updates by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr That's Kang (Rick Yune), Banning (Gerard Butler), and President Asher (Aaron Eckhart (from the opening sequence)).
  16. Can't wait to figbarf with those ghost figs!
  17. Fantastic. Love Jimmy.
  18. He's actually going to cameo.
  19. A much more chaotic take on the Scarecrow's base than mine - and it's fantastic! It's beautiful-looking too!
  20. As I said, there are many more images of figs in my stream. Just click through; I have three different Winter Soldiers right after that image.
  21. Hey all! On Saturday I was thinking a lot about the round column brick. I was mostly thinking about ways to make Ionic columns, aside from using 1x1s with the circular thing. I built a street with three different Ionic columns. I used light grey column pieces, as they are my favorite color for that piece. And since Moria comes with an abundance of dark bley profile bricks ("brick" bricks), I put them to use. I really like this build. Tell me what you think of the columns! Middle is the commonplace version, sides are my own ideas. Spider-Man! by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr I also added my custom-designed Green Goblin glider. This build became a showcase for some of my Marvel fig ideas. Winter Soldier! by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr Moon Knight! by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr Cyclops! by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr Click through each image to get to my 'stream. There are more pics there, as well as straight shots of the figs. Thanks for checking this out!
  22. It's a great micro build, and I complimented your Flickr version, but I was hoping some of your exclusive photos would be from another side. :\
  23. I love it. No further comments.
  24. It's the Spider Cycle no doubt about it. The cycle itself is a good build, the car is a good build, and two of the figs have never been seen at all before. The other figure is the best one yet made of itself. For the Arctic Batman, it's a bad build. Good figs, though.
