  1. Really fantastic all around! The Bat and Tumbler are perfect! Maybe build vignettes from the movies?
  2. Why of course you can. No need to credit, either.
  3. Hey all! Starting my first topic. I wanted to showcase a series of Batman builds I've had on my Flickr for awhile but never posted them here. I started off with a four part Deathstroke build. Deathstroke pt. 1 by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr Click through to get to my stream. The other installments are there. After that, I phoned it in on a Croc build. I honestly just wanted to use my HP brick pieces. Croc by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr I put in more effort on the third installment regarding Mr. Zero (Mr. Freeze). Mr. Zero by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr I love my Freeze fig (but I've gotta get ahold of the '06 face). I've since added baseball player hips. Fries by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr Scarecrow came next. Scarecrow by Hobbes the Majestic, on Flickr That's all I've done so far, as various contests and other ideas kept me from continuing the series. If I do continue this it'll all be posted in responses on this thread (if you want to know who I'm considering for the next installment, just look in my Not the Bat! Flickr set. There's a log of who's been done/who I'd like to do in there).
  4. 1. I've definitely read all the posts up to now, so I'm absolutely sure this hasn't been mentionedwinkwink. 2. I'd love an apocalyptic theme. Not a zombie apocalypse, but something similar to the show Revolution. The show's not that good, but a great theme could come from the base idea of technology dying and civilized life collapsing could become a spectacular LEGO theme. The protagonists could be a ragtag team of survivors with non-electric weapons such as swords, knifes, guns, saws, or more. The big set could be a team vehicle manned by the brainy character which is able to house all of the other's individual vehicles from other sets.
  5. It also says that in the title you're supposed to specify category in the rules. So, put what theme it is, but any is allowed, I believe.
  6. Great review (This is Hobbes from Flickr). However, 42/50 is an 84, so a B. Also, the reverse of the Extremis Soldier would be good for an Az.
  7. I'm no authority, and mods, tell me if I'm overstepping my bounds, but that rule seems to have only applied to the series 1 contest.
  8. I'd actually give Eomer's head and Fili's hair to Faramir. After that, I would give the original flesh Qui Gon Jin face to Eomer, because he has a brown beard in the movies.
  9. I've thought about this in flesh quite a lot. Aside from LOTR/Hobbit elf heads, one might use: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb289 or, for an elder, this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpb037
  10. So, do you post images on Flickr and then link to them in your comment on the entry thread?
  11. Blue Beetle! (Jaime Reyes, not Ted Kord or the other one, Garrett I think...) Deathstroke! CA:TFA Captain America! Daredevil!
  12. I, for one, welcomed the return of Tiny Turbos since I saw this Tumbler. That was a joke. But I do like the model.
  13. ... said Batman. Said Robin: Batman, I am shocked, SHOCKED, that you would make a joke about such things.
