  1. Great MOC for an 8 year old, nice to see he's used a colour scheme as mentioned above, my suggestion for him would be to add figures to set a tone, unless off course figures are kept away by his pap , great job though.
  2. Wow, thanks so much CopMike for all of the effort you have put into this, and saying that Im on the bonus list I am really glad this has been done, I will be sending my pm shortly and the fact that I have won the prize I had ideally hoped for makes me even more merrier, once again thanks and a very Merry Christmas to you all.
  3. Ooh yes I cant wait, thanks for the date, hopefully we will get a sneak peak from the usual site that tends to leak images as the anticipation is killing me (Hoth Bricks-Springfield Bricks)
  4. Congrats to the winners so far, and a big thank you to eurobricks staff (especially CopMike & Sinner) for organising this event, I have noticed that I too am in the bonus list, Im curious to hearing what this is so looking forward to hearing the raffle masters response! thanks again
  5. Awesome MOC as usual Cap'n, great job. I love everything about it, the street, the building, especially the figures, well done.
  6. A member on brickset now reports seeing the riddler chase at his toys r us http://cdn.vanillaforums.com/brickset.vanillaforums.com/FileUpload/55/a761084882b1b3f9ffc7b4ff1207a9.jpg
  7. Here are good quality images of the Hydra tank set minifigures http://www.brickheroes.com/2013/12/76017-captain-america-vs-hydra-re-voici-les-minifigs/ As you can clearly see captain america is of a new variation and his shield is normal red instead of the dark red version as seen in the avengers set which IMO looks much better. The other two minifigures are also looking fantastic.
  8. Thanks again Just2good, these sets look ace, I certainly can't wait to pick these up, hopefully they wont be too badly priced, me thinks the prices are as follows: 76014-£12.99 76015-£20-£25 76016-£30 76017-£20 76018-£50 (My personal favourite has got to be the Dock Ock truck heist, a winner all round)
  9. Great job so far, I cant wait to see the final outcome. The rock work looks good so far and Im really liking that draw bridge and portcullis.
  10. Thanks for the images, my overall impressions are: 76014-Loving the electro figure although I hope this set doesnt cost £10+ as the build doesnt consist of much. 76015-Im really like the car, the build looks good and the doc ock figure is really nice. 76016-The figures are great, and although Im not loving the design of this green goblin, its good that they've included a maxi figure, there also looks to be some nice (new) or rare parts in this set, I can imagine it having a multiple number of play features. 76017-As always the figures are of high quality, Im glad lego have made this a more militarised set with the colours if the tank. 76018-Now this one is the most unique of this wave imo, Im liking modoks head, and the fact that all of these figures are either new or of a different variation makes this set a must buy, great job lego and the lab actually looks pretty decent too. Roll on March and April, I certainly can't wait to pick these up
  11. This gun also appears in one or two of the Indiana jones sets, its a nice little piece although lego have made the new 2014 gun which actually fires a stud, to my knowledge this new piece appears in two themes and its pretty nice (Star Wars and the lego movie). There are also some nice guns that the swat team in the lego movie sets carry, I hope to get some when they appear and the tommy gun piece is nice too and relatively cheap.
  12. Thanks for the great review yet again masked builder,I certainly cant wait to pick up this set from the lego store aswell as the rest of this years hobbit wave and tbh this set has great figures and a nice price per piece ratio so this set more than makes up for it in value, thanks again
  13. Ive watched plenty of films recently, but the most outstanding one by far was The Family which I happened to have watched last night. De Niros performance was fantastic and as always he fits in with his gang roles superbly. The are also some well 'executed' moments, this film certainly provided me with a lot of laughs, I really recommend this film so get to your nearest cinema, even if you've already watched it its certainly worth a rewatch.
  14. Wow, thanks so much CopMike for organising a wonderful raffle such as this, certainly had fun building my ornament. Im particularly liking the Gondor quadruple and the odds this year are looking very good, great job.
  15. Thanks for the heads up, the new sets look great and I can't wait to pick them up very soon, the minifigures are fantastic and I also like the sets, look like a fun build
  16. Once again here is another good written review of the lake town chase http://www.brothers-brick.com/2013/11/25/the-hobbit-desolation-of-smaug-79013-lake-town-chase-review/
  17. I love how these sets are a 2 in 1 design, great job lego and thanks for the images
  18. Thankyou very much CopMike for organising another wonderful raffle, Ive certainly had fun building this although its my first time on LDD (the only thing that wasn't so fun was uploading ), well here it is, enjoy and great entries everyone else. Btw this is three of my favourite things incorporated into one form: Eurobricks (logo), Christmas and off course Lego Lego eurobricks christmas raffle by Kez., on Flickr
  19. I really hope that spiderman poly appears in the next newspaper promo and Im really liking the sound of them marvel sets, thanks piranha
  20. A good review of the MEA can be found here http://www.brothers-brick.com/2013/11/21/the-hobbit-desolation-of-smaug-79012-mirkwood-elf-army-review/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheBrothersBrick+%28The+Brothers+Brick%29
  21. Thanks lego milk, Im loving all of the high res images of the sets, I cant wait to pick them all up, hopefully there will be a good promotional item for january
  22. Some other nice images of the hobbit dol goldur battle set with the inclusion of another spectacular brother hood workshop stop motion http://www.lordofthebrick.com/2013/11/lego-hobbit-trois-images-et-un-brickfilm/
  23. Oh not long now till the UK gets their hands on these great sets, I cant wait, and Im also liking the high res pictures from some members such as GRogall, I could tell that the lake town chase set had a secret wall compartment for bilbo to hide in which is a nice feature, all Im waiting for now are the designer videos for these sets assuming lego decide to make them like they did with last years hobbit wave.
  24. Great Im loving the sound of that, I really hope that this poly appears in the daily mail UK promo, it would be a great army builder
  25. One piece, oh wow I like it, thanks for the clarification and I too agree its a shame about no advertisement for a third lotr wave
