  1. Thanks, like I said, it's ex difficult to incorporate into a build, maybe that could be the basis for a (not necessarily GoH related) challenge...
  2. A fantastic build! The ruins and rock work look great, but the best by far has to be the collapsing bridge and falling soldiers, with the black bottom giving it depth, and of course the gruesomely awesom impaled minifig. A great enty for the minichallenge!
  3. Thanks, I've been thinking of ways to use it for years, but it has no connection points making it difficult to place it anywhere Thank you, I wasn't sure about the roof, but had a window of 2 hours or so to come up with something and build it
  4. Last minute entry, The Shrine of the Sphere :
  5. For the Black Spire. Many centuries ago, a large spherical object appeared in the lands now called Nocturnus. The inhabitants of this land found the stone-like sphere, unsure of what it was, they approached the sphere and as the grew closer to it, a low humming sound could be heard originating from the object. Scared they attempted to move it, it could not be moved, pushed, lifted, nor rolled. So they tried to break it, open it maybe, believing the humming was maybe coming from a creature inside, no matter what they tried, how hard they hit, even the magic of powerful wizards wouldn't lave but a scratch. Learning of the near indestructibility of the sphere, the inhabitants fear grew stronger towards it, so they turned to praying to the sphere in the hopes that whatever was inside would not harm them if ever it emerged. They built a shrine for the sphere, and only the combined magic of the most powerful wizards could lift the impossibly heavy object, to place it in the shrine. Back to the present day, and the Sphere still remains in the shrine after all this time, a mage known as the Purple Mage has learnt of the existence of the mystical sphere and wishes to harness its power and invulnerability. After studying ancient documents, him and his assistant have found the location of the shrine of the Sphere. - Come you foolish creature, it is here, the ancient Sphere! - I will require drops of your blood... The Purple Mage slices open the hand of L'aark, letting out a small snort. - Now place your hand on the Sphere... Not that one you fool, the one dripping with blood! As L'aark placed his bloody hand on the Sphere, and The Purple Mage chanted and ancient spell, the red markings on the floor progressively started growing until they reached the large ston bowls. The cristals light up and shot blood red beams of light into the sky. Clouds gather above the shrine creating a swirling storm, lightning striking the small sphere atop the shrine, sending electricity surging through into the sphere. Magenta smoke whirled around the Sphere, before being absorbed by the mages staff. Its power had been extracted, the Sphere crumbled into pieces... Only realising the deadline for Nocturnus Minichallenges I and II was today, I decided to whip something up quick. Always wanted to use the Indiana Jones boulder, so this was a good opportunity. Thanks for looking!
  6. A wonderful build all around, the trees and crumbling wall look great, as do the pond and rocks! The minifig posing does a good job of conveying the approaching action, and the layering and vegetation works nicely. A fantastic build!
  7. The round tower looks really nice, as do the ruins! An impressive build
  8. A shame about the camera, but doesn't spoil the build, the map as part of the table looks really nice, and the different coloured piece to represent the guilds are cool. A really nice little build
  9. Very nice, a great evolution from phase I, saw this on Brickbuilt earlier The braces on the tower work well, and so do the two shades of brown, gives a nice realistic look. Another amazing build!
  10. Thank you, yeah, I have a kinda inconsistent light source, hoping to get my proper set up back sometime soon but if you're on a mobile device, adjusting the brightness to the max help, but admittedly better photography would be more useful...
  11. Looking forward to seeing them!
  12. Thank you, that was really a main focus for this build :)
  13. Thanks, I've really fallen behind with the story :o
  14. Thanks! Tower phase II is in the works :)
  15. Thank you very much :) Snow on the thatched roof was something I was going to try, but it took a while to get it to the right shape, and being made of mostly dark tan 2x1s I was worried any attempt to modify it would result in the calapse of the roof, as it had done already... Although it's definitely something I'll be re-attempting on any future roofs :)
  16. Thank you, I felt like some of my previous AoM builds lacked a bit of Mitgardia-ness, so tried to make this one fit in more :)
  17. Didn't post any of them here, so here's my first batch of AoM builds: Defence: Walls phase I: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140314-aom-walls-phase-i/ Phase II: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140342-aom-walls-phase-ii/ Phase III: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140402-aom-walls-phase-iii-city-walls/ Agriculture: Farm phase I: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140653-aom-farm-phase-i/ And my newest AoM build, Defence: Tower phase I: Belltower Outpost: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/140699-aom-belltower-outpost-tower-phase-i/ With more to come :)
  18. Thank you both very much! :)
  19. Thanks, something I felt like trying out :) Can't say the stand is particularly solid though
  20. Thanks! :) He'll definitely be staying on for future phases
  21. Thank you very much :)
  22. This looks great, the hay bales with the arrows sticking out are a very cool idea. Although I really like the base, it has a really nice looking texture :)
  23. Thank you very much, the rocky base took the longest to build cause of the angle it's at, but it's only a very small uncommon angle. Glad you like it :) Thanks! Yeah, me neither, but someone has to do it Thank you, this is my first attempt at a thacht roof, and it took a while to figure out, and there's still a few little gaps I'm not pleased with... The bell is actually a large chrome silver bucket piece, however I have no idea where it's from!
  24. Defence: Tower Phase I Situated in the Mitgardian mountains overlooking Teridyan bay, Belltower Outpost has been warning the city from attacks for many years. The role of bell keeper has been passed down from father to son, a lonely but important job, constantly on the lookout, and keeping the bell nice and shiny. Finally charged my camera up, so here's a build I've been working on for a while. Probably my last AoM build for a bit while I work on my characters' story. -Thanks for looking :)
  25. Thank you, glad you like it :)
